This company was great to work with. I got a rock chip on the freeway. Called them right away based on their reviews. The person I spoke with named Pete was super helpful, and got me in right away so that the crack in my windshield wouldn't spread. They even gave my son a coloring book to occupy him while we were waiting in the waiting room. When my car was finished I went out to look at the repair. I started with a huge rock chip that was almost the size of a quarter. James was the person who fixed it and I could barely see where the damage was. He did an amazing job. Went in for two rock chips. Usually a rock chip will reduce in size with the injected glue. Both chips are still the same size and very visible. Glue was allowed to run all over my wiper blade that I now have to replace. The windshield was never cleaned and glue is all over the windshield. I paid $95 and I know I could have done a much better job with a kit from autozone. read more

All of a sudden, I got a large crack in my windshield and needed it replaced. I checked through my insurance first but I would've had to pay my deductible or use the contracted company. I submitted a project here on Yelp and got a few quotes, all of which were less than the other company. I went with Expert Auto Glass because they responded very quickly to my initial request and they quoted me a fair price. I was able to schedule an appointment for the same week and was given clear instructions about what to expect. The repairman Israel called me to say he was 25 minutes away, and he arrived promptly with his colleague. I paid through Zelle because it was convenient, but they accept cash and card, and they charge a 3% credit card fee. It took them about 10 minutes to complete the job and it looked great. Stole my custom clip on shades. I've cleaned my car several times since, and don't have anyone in my car except myself and my fiancé. The owners swears by the worker who installed the glass, but fails to mention the helper who had just started. They also damaged the trim in my car. Beware of these guys and take a video before of your car, and remove your valuables. Better yet call someone else. read more

Obviously the glass was in good condition, but the car wasn't put back together the same way the received it. They charge for "professional service" but don't deliver professional service. The guy left after he finished and didn't mention anything about the roof rail couldn't be put back correctly and the weather striping. Unsolicited call from them and reluctantly booked and appointment for a chip repair. Agreed on $65 plus a 4% credit card fee. Technician shows up and says is $75 and then says the window has a 10% chance of cracking due to pressure. Not what I was told by the sales guy. I then asked about OEM glass replacement and was told my insurance company tells me what I can put in the car, this is completely incorrect. 2 star review is for deceitful sales tactics and untruthful pricing quote. A stone chipped the windshield of my new car while driving on the Interstate. I was so upset, as I had only bought the car 45 days ago. Little cracks extended from the chip. My husband first called Safelite and they didn't have availability for 14 days, which was unacceptable! I had 2 vehicles done at the same time, they came out to my house and arrived on time. Being an OCD car owner I pointed out some things I wanted him to be careful around, he listened and did an excellent job. Quick responses and had me scheduled in the same week I called. They used "Saint-Gobain Sekurit" and "Nielsen & Moller" glass, optically it looks clear on first inspection. We will see how it holds up. I have 1 suggestion, the glass on 1 vehicle had the tint strip across the top and I normally request a windshield without it but this time I forgot. They probably don't deal with people as OCD as me regularly but it could be something they mention when ordering your glass if you want the tint strip or if its available without. Great job, great customer service, I will be recommending them to friends and family. read more

My daughter got a rock that cracked her windshield while driving her car out to school in Phoenix. Not knowing the area I quickly went to Yelp to help me find someone in the Phoenix area to replace her windshield. I called many auto glass places to get a quote and got many different prices and opinions on the job. When I spoke to Erik with Expert Auto Glass he was very straight forward about doing the job, the price was right, and I felt that I could rely on this company to take care of my teenage daughter and her car when I am not around. Erik called me and setup a day and time for the install. Which was within a couple of days which was great. He did call me and told me the night before that the windshield they had for me had an imperfection in it and they had to reorder a new one. I was a little disappointed because we had to change the time of installation. But, I was grateful that they did not just come and install a damaged windshield on my daughter's car. The next morning I got a call that they were able to get the new windshield and they were still able to keep the original time of installation. The installer came that morning and met up with her and got the windshield replaced. She said the installer was professional and did a good job. It has been a couple of months since the installation and the windshield is doing well. There was a crack in my windshield and this was the first time I'm dealing with a problem like this. Here's advice to all you people: your car insurance may actually cover all or some of the costs of these windshield repairs. Unfortunately, my insurance didn't cover it at all. I actually consulted with 3 different places. Safelite was charging $500, Auto Glass Replacement was charging $270. This establishment was charging $230 to replace my windshield. What is really cool is that they came to me (now that I think of it, I wonder if it's cheaper if I drive to them). The earliest they could come fix my car was 2 days after I called. They gave me a 4 hour window. The technician, Austin, gave me a call and told me when he would show up and he actually stayed true to his word. This is not something I get from other services so I was pleasantly surprised and ended up giving him a tip for being so timely. read more

So, all in all, the glass issue went well, prompt, quality install. I did, however, have some consternation over the amount I was told by Expert Auto Glass would be the max charged to my insurance, which was about $80 LESS than my insurance company paid out. SO FAR, I have not received a bill from my insurance company for the extra $80....we'll see. My issue in writing this review is over the $100 "gift certificate" Expert Auto Repair offers as incentive. It is a restaurant gift certificate from Restaurant.com. At https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/restaurant.com I checked out the reviews. Out of 856 reviews, 716 of them gave 1 Star. Just trying to get on their website to get a list of restaurants was painful. Many of the 1 star reviewers felt the same way. Finally, checking out the restaurants was depressing. If you're into the SAD diet, Standard American Diet diet, you'll be thrilled, at least you will be until the restaurant tells you they don't honor the gift certificate. Many reviews highlighted that as a complaint. Expert Auto Glass was not on my insurance company's list of recommended vendors. This doesn't really mean much since they did a fine job....... but I wouldn't have had to deal with spending hours on the phone with my insurance company and Expert Auto Glass trying to figure out why the amount on the invoice I received was different than the amount my insurance paid out OR the frustrating gift certificate issue that I'll probably never use for the 716 reasons given in the reviews. So, Expert Auto Glass gleans the benefit of dangling a gift certificate AND saves $100. If I need glass repair again, I'll stick with my insurance company's list and avoid the frustration and disappointment. read more
