I got a crack on my truck on the way into Payson. I didn't want it spreading even more given the AZ Valley heat during the summer, so I quickly started getting quotes. I found 1st Shot Auto Glass and messaged them asking for an estimate. They responded quickly. After bargaining, they gave me the best offer. I made my appointment. The down side was my appointment time was between the hours 10-3 I believe. So I had to wait pretty much all day until they showed up. I don't like that. The guy showed up and worked on the truck for maybe about 30 minutes. Did an awesome job. He was able to take my credit card right off hand which was great. I never had to replace an entire windshield but since this is a leased car, BMW requires you replace it with OEM glass. Translation, you need to use BMW factory approved glass. I was going to let it go but I noticed the crack was getting bigger and bigger and was turning out to be 15" and more as the days progressed while I was driving around town. I called a couple shops that were advertising online and none of them sounded professional nor could speak accurately of what needed to be done. My third call was to First Shot and when I spoke with Kerry, the owner, she was professional from the get go. Not only did she get me on the phone with the glass insurance specialist but she took care of all the paperwork and worked with my tight schedule of replacing the glass at my home within 24 hours. The mobile installation service is run by Kerry's husband, Patrick and their son. Patrick called one hour prior arriving and a few minutes before they drove up my street. He and his son took apart all the fancy contraptions that held the glass in and voila...my windshield was replaced. All within 30 minutes. While I would of liked to get the sexy cash back offer they had for after market glass (translation = not BMW glass), Kerry and her husband Patrick and their son made this a non stressful and easy process. Poor customer service! At first, they seemed helpful, however, when it came to appointment time the repair person did not show up during their allotted time and without even a call. I was forced to call them 8+ times just to get an answer and was met with "oh, I can't seem to find you on my schedule. I will call you back in a couple minutes." Afyer more than a half hour of waiting; I called back to be met with more missed calls and finally a "sorry, the driver started work on a new project." This is one of the most disorganized companies I have ever dealt with. And the lack of concern for people already tight schedules is disgusting. I can safely say nobody should use this company if they are wanting work done around their schedule! read more

Such a late review! Last year I cracked the windshield in my brand new Pacifica, so new no one had the glass for it. The owner (so terrible with names my apologies) went above and beyond to track down and pick up one of the only replacements in the state. She didn't quite and came through for me! I wanted Safelite to the install initially for my back window but because they are highly sought out I went with this place. Big BIG mistake! Anyone can put glass in but to provide professional service is another. First off how do you have money for advertisement but no vacuums to suck up all the glass prior to you replacing it?? Then the trim in my window is coming off I had to put it back on myself. So it's been 4 days and I have to keep rolling over glass in my garage, in my driveway, and in th parking lot from all the glass falling out the bottom of my freaking door. It's simple stuff like that people that can make a difference. Next time, wait for a real company to do the work! read more

I had no way to call and confirm because they close early on SAT. I waited around when I had more important things to do for someone who never showed up. Nikki and Anthony were great! They came out to my job, which made it super convenient, since I have to be there all day. They were super communicative about their arrival time, they replaced my windshield very quickly and were so nice! I used to have a loud vibrating sound issue with the sun damage to my cowling, and I would have to tape it down. When they replaced my windshield, they put extra effort into securing that portion to the glass and I haven't heard any unpleasant noises without having to re-tape it! They did a great job replacing my windshield. They were up front prior to replacement that my dash camera that gets turned on when I am on cruise control may need to be re calibrated(no biggie as dealerships will do this after a replacement).
