Super friendly staff! It was $260 if we wanted them to come to us to replace the windshield, or $210 to take the car into their shop. Of course, I opted to take it in. We had an appointment at 11 on a Saturday morning, and I kid you not, we got HOME at 11:15! I just brought my 2024 corvette in for a front windshield replacement. Upon completion, I noticed that the driver's-side A-pillar had a pretty massive gap. The passenger side was also pushed out a bit. When I brought this up, being a brand new car with less than 500 miles on it, I was told simply that the interior was lined up perfect and when I showed some before photos I had taken (I learned to always take before photos) the installer pointed to the photo where there was clearly no gap and said "yeah see there was a gap before". When I told him that it looks be have been moved at least a quarter of an inch (which is a lot for a panel gap), he conceded the point and said "well that's just human error" and that the window was lined up perfectly if you check it from the interior. So I checked it from the interior, using the dot matrix pattern to see how centered the glass truly was, and it's way worse than the panel gap would indicate, in that it's seemingly a good half inch or so to the right. Keep in mind, the entire time I am not being an irate customer, but I did tell him that this needs to be centered, and that the work just really isn't acceptable. But was told by the installer that it was "perfect" and that he would not be redoing it. So, let that be a lesson. There are literally hundreds of auto glass shops in the Phoenix area, pick any other one for any car that you care about. So: The windshield is wildly uncentered, causing panel gaps. As you can see from the photos, even the claim that it is centered "perfectly" is patently false as there's a good inch of black border on one side and none on the other, showing that it is shifted. read more

Truly sad that this business is ok with losing a customer from 2018. I have had multiple windshields replaced in both our car, and our truck. I don't remember the exact amount, but AT LEAST 4 in the truck and 7 in the car. Both vehicles have a tint strip on the windshield in 5 percent, and down about 11 inches..It's not about looking cool, but not being able to see. So I schedule a replacement, and give her all the info, and she says it can only go so low. " ADOT has cracked down " Well, I get that, but I have a state exemption. I could do 5 percent on the WHOLE windshield if I wanted to LEGALLY. So supposedly, the manager isnt there Thursday night, but " I will check,and ca you first thing tomorrow ". So 2pm I call them,since no one has called me yet. The rude girl says that they can't do it, even after I explained the exemption several times. I was obviously wasting her time. So I mention this will end our relationship with the business, and she says " so do you want to get the windshield changed, or not ? " No King Windshields, we will never use your business again. I've been coming to Kingwood shield for years. And I've had several cars that they've replaced windshields in. Their customer service is Excellent. it's easy to file a claim and I always appreciate the specials that they have when you replace the windshield with insurance. They can come to your home to replace the windshield or you can go and to the shop and have the windshield replaced while you wait and they're very comfortable waiting area it's stocked with coffee, popcorn and sodas, as well as a coloring bag for my kids while we waited. I haven't taken my car anywhere else in years. And as we know in Arizona are windshield crack, at least once a year whether that's heat or a lovely rock hitting the windshield. My 16 year old son took his car to have the windshield replaced. Upon completion he noticed his door was damaged and the door would not open. He went back inside and they stated it was already like that. As you can see by the first and second picture there was obviously something done to the door. They still denied, my husband went it to meet my son and to talk to them about what can we do to get this handled. They threatened to call the cops and have them charged with trespassing. I was so impressed with this business. My windshield was cracked from a construction truck with a loose load on the freeway. I checked with my insurance and unfortunately I didn't know I no longer had windshield coverage. So I asked my insurance for a quote for a company they recommended and the quote returned to $490.00 through Safelite. Seemed a bit high to me so I called Safelite directly to see if I could get a better deal. They quoted me $460.00. Calling around the prices seemed to be about $450.00 all the way to $600.00. I accepted that I was just going to have to pay quite a bit to get it fixed. So rather than just take the insurance companies recommendation I asked my neighbors and they recommended King Windshield. I called and spoke with their staff who gave me two different quotes. Coming to my house was about $350.00 or I could come into their store and it would cost $255.00. I was shocked. Went into the store, it was clean orderly and the staff was so kind. They talked me through the process and we're finished in less than 30 minutes. My windshield is brand new and looks great. They also said any new chips to bring the car back and they will fix chips for free. Absolutely incredible service and I will definitely return for any windshield needs since ARIZONA is notorious for ruining our windshields and cars in general. Recently, I took my Land Rover in to king windshields off power in Mesa and they completely damaged the plastic surrounding my windshield just below my windshield wipers. Upon reporting the problem, their rep Derick said it was from 'sun damage'. I told him that the sun doesn't leave marks from a some type of pry bar, but it was to no avail. King auto glass seems to be more interested in quantity over quality and they absolutely do not care about customers or customer service. You have the right to choose who replaces your auto glass. After our dismal experience with the service technicians, front desk staff and service manager of this business, I would highly recommend that you seek a windshield replacement from a more reputable company.  I was very excited to finally get the windshield replaced on my 2014 BMW X1. We began the search and enlisted the services of King's Windshield because of the reviews on Yelp & Google were good. However when I received my car back from the business the windshield was new but the overall "finished" look was horrible, gapping along the seal on top of the windshield and a completely disconnected cowl. At that point I called the business and they invited us back to the location to address concern. Upon arrival I prefaced the first issue I had with the cowl not being attached to the vehicle, which he quickly (before even looking at)  brushed it all off casually as industry standard and continued to solidify his expertise by bad mouthing my car as " a cheap & a poor design" verbatim. We returned to the main office where the front desk girl was eager to jump in and assist in the attack of our concern, threw paper on the counter and said your husband signed off on this, hence not their problem. Please forgive us for not being windshield experts. The second issue is rubber seal that they "specially ordered" for my vehicle. Which was not installed to the proper fitting of my vehicle, the edges of the rubber are clearly untucked from the vehicles frame and it looks like it was a practice job, at best. After that unsuccessful attempt to rectify the issues, I did speak with one gal that at least validated my concerns and could see that I was clearly not satisfied with my experience. She offered to get a new cowl for us at their cost (discounted), which sparked my curiosity and I asked, if this is such a common problem then why aren't your technicians transparent about the result of the cowl issues , and let us know before the work on the vehicle, and point out that it could be replaced out of insurance, she replied that it is not a service that they offer??? Although generous, I am not comfortable paying money out of pocket to have them install something  they "don't do" and may or may not have experience with? BIG RED FLAG, at the end of the conversation I felt like I needed a second opinion, were she then told me that she would have the service manager call me due to my concern. The service manager finally returned the call but to my husband and not me as requested!  I promptly returned the call within 15 mins and she conveniently "left" for the day. Again I was advised that she would promptly return my call in the morning, as she is there at 7 and leaves at 3, 10AM and no call so I had to call AGAIN. I finally get through to another rude employee that answered the phone, explaining once again the reason for my call and  was finally granted the opportunity to speak with Julie the service manager. I introduced myself  again, as she clearly had no clue to why I was calling. I politely asked if I could  send some pictures via email, as the issues I was concerned about are difficult to describe, and at  that point  I felt that she would clearly see the poor craftsmanship and return to me with a viable solution  to my plight. She returned my call within 5 mins of my email!!! Letting me know that she already spoke with the owner ( oh sure) and continued to argue the windshield semantics, how the rubber needs time to settle and again re-iterated to me the "cheap and poor" design of my vehicle, and don't forget it was signed off on the inspection! Clearly she has no authority to make decisions in finding resolution for customers. At that point realizing there is no point in fighting, my concerns were not important to them. I asked Julie candidly, if this WERE YOUR PERSONAL VEHICLE would you be satisfied with this result? At which she replied with NO!  The only solace she could offer me was another conversation with the technician, really to receive another reverberation of how windshields work???  NO THANKS. King Windshield's, be advised that customers want actionable solutions, especially when the quality of your product is being questioned with clear evidence of error. You could have done the right thing and fixed your poor craftsmanship! So obviously the real issue is with the owner of the company, They are clearly OKAY with taking insurance money and not looking back based upon the F rating with the BBB. THE PERFECT SCAM read more
