I needed my front door Widow replaced, this company was referred to me and had fair pricing and were available to do the job quickly and at my work. Installer took a while to install the windows, seemed to have some difficulties. Upon completion I saw the installer put a tear in my door panel and whe. I we t to inspect it closer the plastic panel covering the door mirror fell off. I asked the installer what happened, he said he didn't know, he said he didn't do it, but in the same breath he said he had a hard time with the plastic cover, which on inspection was missing the clips that lock it in place. He was going to just ignore he tore my door panel and broke the cover plate and just have me pay the bill. I was at work and didn't have the time. I wanted the door panel and cover plate fixed before I paid the bill. He got on the phone with the owner who told me, " the work was done you need to pay the bill" I told once the damage is repaired I'd pay the bill in full andI paid a portion of it right there but held off on the balance until it was fixed. Pictures were sent and the owner finally admitted the installer seemed to have damaged the door panel and cover plate whole doing the install and they she would get a technician that repais vinyl to come out and repair the tear in the door panel but she would need to order a new cover plate. I said fine and she said she would get back to me. I got one message stating she was having a delay in getting the tech out to do the repair but she ordered a new cover plate. To finish this up, I had to follow up several more times and got one excuse after another. Tech was having health issues, we're out of town, the part hasn't come in yet. I always had to follow up no communication from them. All said and done, over a month later the tech finally came out and did the repair on the tear, came out good, noce job vinyl repairman. A few days later the owener dropped off the cover plate and didn't even offer to reinstall it just handed it to me. No offer of a discount, no apologies for the inconvenience or delays. They provide terrible service and had no concern for their workmanship or reputation. Great job! There was a couple weird smudges on my windshield that won't go away but nothing that inhibits my driving.

Overall not entirely the "most horrible" I guess windshield replacement experience humanly possible, only due to the office staff mainly Monica assisting in the pre/post horrid windshield replacement experience that I unfortunately endured. Updating my insurance with my brand new Jeep somehow took off the full glass coverage causing me issues when I got a routine glass rock chip at 2200 miles leading me ultimately to Mobile Tech overall. Monica was amazing to work with, and got me set up for pretty much an immediate install. However, that install came at cost far greater than the $350 out-of-pocket that I gave the installer who damaged my vehicle permanently during the "simple" his words windshield swap. Not only did he break off my antenna on a Jeep which is nowhere near the windshield somehow he caused gigantic gashes in the paint of my brand new Jeep in multiple areas around the replaced windshield. When I came out to review as he told me they were done he officially pointed out the obvious antenna and apologized telling me he would fix and quickly left after grabbing the cash out of my hand. A few moments later before he was even off my street at all I started to notice severe damage all around my windshield roughly almost all the way around the circumference. Due to being thorough Monica called ASAP to discuss the antenna and as I spoke to Monica we reviewed the damage, and as always she was very courteous/professional and kind. Monica had the technician turn back around and he showed back up in just a few moments indeed. The technician reported he didn't "notice" the massive damage areas to my car see photos below, as well as I recorded our conversation then as he lied to me numerous times. Overall, he apologized offering to get a "paint pen" as damages beyond that "cost level" will "ensure he doesn't make money for the job..... I told him no as these were very deep gouges not just light scratches and he seemed very upset that "I would cost him money". I asked him very specifically was there any other damage besides what I pointed out to him and told him I was going to inspect the car with great detail. Upon this question he told me "not at all", and quickly rushed off-site again even as he knew I was recording this. Non-surprisingly enough.... each and every area at the more than the two at the top of the windshield tape points I have seen every time I get a windshield replaced plus even at those two normal tape points all tape areas had damage worse and deeper than the other areas in all "not noticed" by the tech. Not shockingly every single area tape was applied had the deepest damage marks, even after this tech promised no further damages.... I took extensive photos which I am attaching some of here of the damage they caused, and Monica told me they have had prior other issues with this tech lately and "he is good overall, but not lately entirely" and there have been other "incidents". Monica told me she was running this by the shop owner, and this may be the overall "straw" that broke the back essentially. Unfortunately, two days later I learned this technician was let go which was not my intention, but after being dishonest with me I personally didn't lose much sleep over it. That being said Monica worked to get me set up with a local body shop they use probably in my opinion probably due to this tech... who they had to once again take my windshield off and they replaced it this time with two pieces of tape like I usually see after the body shop sanded down the frame and re-painted it entirely. Unfortunately, I can still see the prior damage it is definitely far improved overall but still permanent damage exists and this is on a brand new car in addition to the scratched damage to my antenna mount area still a factor and while they did order the replacement to that antenna for me still saddened by unnecessary and avoidable issues in my opinion. Also the body shop left the tops off of my Jeep, did not wash it prior to pick up, and the inside was so dusty I had to stop at a Target 2 blocks away to buy leather and glass cleaner to wipe down the dust/dirt inside from element exposure that was so bad to the extent that I could not use my navigation screen at all due to such a nasty interior. Overall they did a decent job with the massive body divots from their end that the MobileTech technician caused but there is still noticeable permanent damage and body shop owner said he would not paint again in his opinion so it is there for life. I was never offered a refund of the $350 cash that I paid out of pocket while incurring this permanent damage from a "simple" swap. Scott read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE, who ever is talking client calls should NOT be working here. No customer service skills what so ever. I called around 12:30pm for an estimate on my windshield replacement , the lady said she was working up another client and would give me a call in 5-10 mins. It was 1:15 and I called HER back, she was sounding like she was in some kind of rush. She asked for the year make and model of my vehicle and the Vin number after receiving that she instantly said "okay I'll call you later " and HUNG UP on me. I didn't even have a chance to speak. It's almost 5:00pm (the time they close) and i have YET to hear back from this lady after attempting to call them multiple times. Definitely putting my money elsewhere ! read more

Shady Practices So basically got a bait and switch with them. Got a Groupon for "$100 off Services" with no specification on service or limited supply. So got the Groupon. Then called them up to set up services. I got a quote and set up a date. When they came they said that the Groupon was not valid even though we got it a week or two ago and it said it was good till November when we got it. They offered to take 15 dollars off instead.... They said the Groupon was for different glass that they don't offer any more. I called them and asked about the Groupon they said they were no longer doing it but would honor the Groupon. I said great and asked if they could come back out. They said the quote given to us wasn't for the Groupon. Again Groupon said for services, not for a specific type of glass replacement. apparently, the Groupon was only for a type of windshield glass that is conveniently around $100 dollars more then what the original quote was for. So be careful when working with this company. Bait and switch practices besides unethical are many times illegal. To summarize they had a great deal on a replacement but when I then reached out to them they no longer offer the service and tried to sell me on another one instead.... read more

MobileTech got me in within two days of calling them after my boyfriend and I had no luck getting one of my windows replaced in my '98 Lumina. Most places didn't have the glass in stock, and most said they'd replace it if we provided the glass. Somehow MobileTech had the right window though, came out to replace the shattered window in my car, and did it for a really good price! They also were able to respond quickly when my boyfriend had a chip in his windshield. Within a day they were able to come out and fill it. We're very appreciative of them! read more

Since I'm a transplant to the area I had never had a windshield replaced before and was a little stressed about the endless options. I had a great experience with MobileTech from the beginning. The woman I spoke with initially was very friendly and since I wasn't going through insurance, she let me know she was checking all four glass distributors they work with to get the best price for my make and model. The price the quoted was over $100 less than the quote I got from one of the big name companies! They scheduled me for the next morning and I received a call 20 minutes prior to arrival as promised. Having a very difficult time getting a response back from this place. My fiancée used them and paid over 200.00 for a windshield replacement. Immediately after they finished, it cracked. We called to see if it could get fixed again in which they let us know to send a picture and they could send someone out again. We never heard back after sending a follow up email and calling. When we called from a different number, Monica finally answered and said that she would have to call back. When we asked to speak with the supervisor, she refused and said we would have to try back later? I hate leaving bad reviews but I want to make sure I can let others know about this experience as a forewarning. We have yet to receive a call back from the last conversation. read more
