I am a consumer and customer. After the horrible experience with this company, I felt I needed to share it. I only do reviews for experiences that have impacted me. This impacted me in a negative way and hope no one must experience it. I have a retail store and the lock on the door was jammed. It was an emergency after hours call. It was a Sunday and it was the stores first weekend. I called to see about service. The person that answered was Sean. He told me the call would be $150 to go out to the site. He stated he could be there by 9:30 am. To be very clear, they arrived before opening, did the job , and we were able to open. I am grateful for the task they completed. The issue is really the lack of customer service. Why 2 people needed to do the job is unclear. We had to give $400 in cash. So, if any one calls after hours, be warned and prepared! Whether you are a small store or large company, customer service centric attitude is always needed when dealing with the public. Sean's attitude about the situation was demanding, rude, and combative. The pregnant manager was nervous about the situation and Sean's attitude and lack of patience for a new employee was horrific. The next day I asked a question about the service he performed. He stated that I should check my security camera. He stated that the job was a headache for him. Call this company and I believe that they can do the job. Be prepared to be held hostage for money and treated disrespectful and with contempt. read more

Wow, surprising how you think this is embarrassing for me and not you since you're the "Lock smith". I have no problem paying for someone to do the job right and never said that the service fee wasn't mentioned. I was simply stating the facts. Thankfully I did find a local locksmith who was able to order the lock and install It. Never did I say I just wanted the door open. As a homeowner and a family with pets, kids and a pool I will not risk having a broken door that won't lock for weeks because you said that there would be no wat to lock it once you broke it. You would essentially break the door and leave me no way to lock it. You also said you would not have a lock to replace it with for weeks. I will would much rather lock my door than have it open/ broken for weeks. Glad the professionals at Newhall Valencia Lock and Key were able fix it. read more
