I was locked out of apartment, with my landlord being in a meeting and would not be back till the next day. I couldn't wait so i had searched yelp and google, which they all had recommended me to northridge lock & key. Got in touch, they sent a technician over in about 20min exactly, the technician had spent over 30min trying to open to bottom lock, and he was successful, i almost had my doubts, but he pulled it off, and i was just amazed by the technicality. He gave me a great deal of replacing the bottom lock, and re-installing a new lock, which was going to be a different key, but he gave me another awesome to deal to have 1 key work for a different top and bottom lock. Would highly recommend Northridge lock & key to anyone and everyone. read more

I would not recommend this locksmith. I contacted them for a sheriff lockout, and instead of providing a standard service quote, they stated they would charge $2 per minute just to wait for the sheriff to arrive. That will be $120 an hour for sheriff to arrive. read more

This place sucks. On Thursday evening we made an appointment for Friday between 2:00 and 4:00. At 3:50 on Friday they called and said, "can't make it, stuck in traffic. Maybe we can come tonight at 8:00 or maybe tomorrow." Burned a whole afternoon waiting for them only to have them blow it. 0/10, do not recommend. read more

Too bad this is the only locksmith close to us, because they can't (or won't ) do what they claim to do. I needed a key duplicated. The FIRST THING on the Yelp list of things they claim to do is "Key duplication." But when I asked for a quote, the response I got was "Unable to service: I'm booked for this time." For what time? You claim to be available 24/7 but don't have 10 minutes during business hours to duplicate a key? So I called and a woman answered "Hello?" Hello? Really? I asked if I'd reached Northridge Lock & Key and she said "Yes." So I asked if I could get a key duplicated and she said they don't do that. Well if that's the case you need to TAKE IT OFF YOUR SERVICES LISTED. I still considered giving them two or three stars since most of the reviews seem to be four or five stars and it sounds like they've done some good work for other people. But if three stars = "OK," two = "Could've been better," and one = "Not good," I can't give them any more than one star because they had bad service before I even had a chance to use them. I'm sorry. read more

Northridge Lock & Key to the rescue! My mom called me in a panic because she couldn't find her house keys, and of course, I was miles away I called Northridge lock and key, and they wasted no time--Jonathan reached out and said he'd be there in ten minutes. TEN. Talk about superhero response time! And wouldn't you know it? Within a minute of me talking to Jonathan, my mom found her keys. Classic. I immediately called him back like, 'Abort mission!' Jonathan couldn't have been nicer or more understanding. Even though we didn't need their service in the end, their speed, professionalism, and kindness were top-tier. Would 100% recommend--just hope you don't find your keys the second they're on their way! read more

What an amazing company. I called them at 2pm and a locksmith was sent at 5pm the Sam day. Ron was the most punctual locksmith I've dealt with. He switched and lock and rekeyed a lock in less than 45 minutes. It was GREAT!!!! It allowed me to run my business without major interruptions. Then I called him at 8pm because the lock wasn't locking from the inside. He rushed to my office within 15 minutes and fixed it. It wasn't their fault. The door lock was defective but he fixed it without any charge. Thank you so much for helping me today. read more

Eldar was dope. He was quick and thorough - rekeyed all my locks for the home, the mailbox, and even took the time to remold and reprogram a blank car key I had. All at a decent price too. Even the lady who I talked to on the phone who booked my appointment was very friendly and quick to respond. Since I'm new to the neighborhood, this will be my go-to Locksmith from here on out!!! read more

Usually, I'm super organized. Until the one day I went to check my mail & couldn't find my key. I travel for a living and was in town for a few days --- waited until right before I was leaving to check the mail ... no key. I knew there was a bill in there that needed to be paid before I left. Aaaggghhhhh !!! Until I called and Gilli showed up. Of course, to further complicate I'm leaving in 3 hours. He was there in less than an hour and the job was done in 15 minutes! Jusy purchased a town home and the previous owner and HOA did not even give us keys or help us with the locks. Luckily, we got a hold of Eddie and he helped us change all of our locks from mailbox, to front door to back door. And his rates were very fair! Since we are in the middle of a pandemic, he also followed social distancing rules by showing up with a mask and sanitizing. He will surely take care of all your locksmith concerns! read more

Gili was absolutely amazing. We needed to rekey our new home. He was on time, very clear on our options and the costs for each scenario. He completed his work in a timely and efficient manner without any supervision required. I was able to focus on the other contractors that were at the house that day (moving day that is) and felt comfortable that the lock situation was under control. Gili is very professional, has great communication style and solid work ethic. He also spent the time to show us how to work the locks on our doors - bit of a complex system. Highly recommend Gili! read more
