This family owned business has been around since I've been a child. I've never considered using anyone else. They were like a staple in our town. They're true professionals. Trustworthy and honest. I recently thought I had lost my keys and needed an automobile key made but they do not service autos. They promptly returned my call to inform me of that fact and gave me an excellent referral. So grateful. Thank you so much. After the superb service, a gust of wind happened and my regular keys were blown off of some boards onto the driveway. Unbelievable, but true story. At least, I have been reacquainted to an excellent locksmith service Neal's Key. read more

He's been my locksmith for almost 30 years. I'm so happy every time when I call him his responds immediately I highly recommend him

I had an unfortunate experience with a Petsitter and needed to rekey my locks. Tom restored my faith in humanity. He is professional, reasonably priced, and very efficient. Highly recommend Neal's Key Service. read more

A truly first rate professional team. Tom was super punctual both times he came out. And super fast at getting the job done. What a wonderful family run business. And prices were very reasonable. I've used other key services before, including one that damaged my lock, which was the reason why I called Neal's. From the sidewalk, Tom said "I know what the problem is". I'd highly recommend Neal's for all your locksmith needs. I'm never going anywhere else! read more

I am happy to recommend Neal's. Every key I brought to these gentlemen for duplication worked beautifully on their respective locks when we tried them on an old condo in New Orleans the following weekend. The keys we needed to duplicate were not, i should add, able to be copied by the many kiosks one finds these days. Key making is an art, not a science, and these gentlemen are artists. read more

Very happy with Tom's work. I could tell right away he's super skilled in what he does. My lock broke and I was ready to pay for him to install a new one. But he just fixed the old one in minutes. Also, he has very reasonable prices, I was expecting to pay a lot more. Will definitely use him in the future, and recommend him if any of my family or friends need a locksmith. read more

Neal's Key Service - new locks - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Granada Hills, California

Thank you Tom! You were very professional and fixed my broken door knob right away! You definitely have a repeat customer here.

Tom of Neal's Key Service is exceptional. Our front door lock was opening too easily from the outside so I was afraid anyone could easily break in. I thought I would have had to purchase a new door lock. I called Neal's Key Service, Tom came out within an hour of me calling and was told he could repair the lock, and rekey. He did that for all the outside doors so I could just use one key. His price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend him. read more

I called in the morning to have our front door re-keyed and 5 back doors. Tom came right on time at noon. He is very professional and fast too! In less then 30 minutes the job was completed! I deleted all my other locksmiths from my contact list as I now only need ONE! Thank you! read more

Used Tom at NEAL's KEY's in north Valley this morning. Tom is fantastic. Was on time! Worked quickly fixing the problems on all my locks! Didn't have to sell me anything. Very reasonable fee! Honest!!! Grateful for his presence! I had also used Neal's decades ago. Last couple days I asked locally on Nextdoor about Neal's and dozens of neighbors ALL said he was terrific. Glad I listened. Glad I had also read your wonderful Neal's Yelp reviews. Thank you. read more

My front door latch wasn't working from the outside but did work from the inside. After replacing the latch, the problem persisted. So, Tom the locksmith told me he could grind down the latch for a small fee or replace the entire lock and handle and matching handle on the adjacent door for a few hundred dollars. I took the much less expensive option of grinding down the latch, $60. Tom offered the service fee option and I didn't have to haggle with him. A new lock would probably have a longer life, but this door is seldom used since I enter the house from the garage. Tom provided all the options and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. It's rare to find an honest person these days. So, thank you, Tom, and I suggest other Yelpers use him. read more

This service made an annoying situation much more pleasant to deal with! The service was fast (less than 20 minutes) the technician was kind and knowledgeable and the price was much better than other quotes I got in the area. Call Neals Key and you'll be back in your home grateful for your choice. Two thumbs up. read more

5 stars all the way for Neal's Key Service! 5-star customer service, responsiveness, promptness, and professionalism. Tom came through for me at the 11th hour when I needed to get my buyer into her new home, which the seller did not leave a key for... DOH! My buyer had a car full of her belongings ready to move into the home, so you can see the stress I was under to resolve this quickly. Tom was willing to work with me and required proof that my buyer was the new owner. He was very easy to work with and came to my buyer's rescue as soon as he got the proof he needed. Taking care of payment was easy too! Tom helped turned a stressful situation into one that has left my client happy and satisfied. Thanks for being a partner in this with me Tom! read more

I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone I get the chance to. Tom is Johnny on the spot & the man to call. Very quick and responsive company, with a great morale and sense of humor! Very quality work for the price. You can't go wrong with Neal's Key! read more

This is a locally owned business. Not only did he come out once and was on time I just did not hear the doorbell, but he came out again and was at my house in eight minutes exactly like he promised. He did his job so well, so efficiently and without making any mess! Why would you use anyone else! Neil has been in business at the same location for years, his dad trained him and he is funny, friendly, and reasonably priced. I will not use any other service but he is for any thing I need concerning a locksmith. If you want somebody you can trust, that's efficient, that's friendly, and gives great service this is the place to go. read more

Highly recommend! Tom arrived early and had 6 locks changed quickly. He provided multiple copies of the keys which was great and saved me a trip to the hardware store. He also helped me remove several master locks. Tom was very kind, professional, and friendly. Also, as a single woman, I felt very safe with him in my home. I would definitely use them again. read more

Our family has trusted this gentleman for many years. He's come out at a moments notice, even given free service for small jobs.

Have used this business for years. They're reliable, dependable and honest. I highly recommend.

We could not open bathroom door from the inside. The lock was stuck. Neal's Key Service was nearby, so we gave him a call. Tom showed up in a little more than an hour, and fixed the lock, quickly and cheerfully. What a wonderful experience. read more

I have been working with Neal for years. He is the best Lock Smith! Lock outs, rekeys you name it he does it all!

Thank you other Yelpers for suggesting Neal's Key Service!! Was able to get the deadbolt fixed on my dad's front door within 2 hours of calling! On time, friendly, knowledgable, and fast! I also really appreciated not being upsold on anything - he said the existing lock was fine and just needed a replacement part (which he had). Will definitely be our go-to locksmith from here on out. read more

I've been plagued lately with poor service and low quality work from people i've hired to work on the house. Working with Tom from Neil's Lock and Key was a refreshingly great experience. Tom was friendly, fast and on time. His work is as professional as it gets. VERY highly recommended. read more

Neal is fantastic. He replaced our exterior door handle and lock set, and he really knows his stuff. He is very friendly and efficient, and did the job quickly and cleanly. I've been oversold by locksmiths in the past, but Neal didn't try to scare me into overpaying for something I didn't need. Honest, affordable, friendly work. Highly recommend. read more

I called Neal's Key shortly before 8:00 this morning. Tom got my address and said he would be there within a 9:00-10:00 a.m. window. He showed up a little after 9:00. The job was a busted door handle to the guest bathroom that made it impossible to open the door from the inside. (I got locked in the other day and had to be let out by my wife.) It's one of those old-fashioned handles difficult of access. Tom told me at one point he thought he might have to take it into the shop. But he got it fixed perfectly, in a little under 20 minutes, and charged a price so low I had to ask him to repeat it as I thought I had heard incorrectly. Top-notch professional work, on time, and a positive, cheerful attitude. Thank you, Tom! If you need expert locksmith service, Neal's is the place to go. read more

I have known Neal for several years and he has always met our needs. Fast - efficient - economical. Highly recommend his service.

I called and made an appointment, was quoted a window for a time and it was met. I appreciate that he cared for my time as if it was his own. I have to be honest I didn't once ask for a price or how much it would be, I was a little skeptical to say the least. To my surprise Tom is knowledgeable, friendly and good sense of humor and best of all he gave me a fair price for a good amount of work. I was very pleased and hope they're around for long time. It's refreshing to do business with a person who can actually fix what was wrong in a clean and efficient manner with no up sell or shenanigans. Last but not least my front door is REPAIRED! Thanks again Tom and George. read more

Shout out to Tom of Neal's Key for coming out and installing a lock on my 89 year old mom's filing cabinet. I called Neal and explained that my mom has different caregivers in her home and I wanted to make sure her financial and personal paperwork was secure. Tom arrived on time, explained to my mom what needed to be done, treated my mom with kindness and respect, and completed the job quickly. When the first lock failed, he came back and installed a second lock! I live out of town and knowing that my mom's paperwork is secure made me feel so much better. Thank you Tom for going out of your way to help me and my mom. read more
