9/23/2026 I just had Magic Lock and key come to repair my front door lock. He came checked it and was done in ten minutes. He's so personable. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We needed to get our home rekeyed, and called Magic Lock and Key. We were able to get an appointment quickly, and Rafi showed up to assist. Rafi was kind, knowledgeable, and so quick! He was in and out in about fifteen minutes. He went above and beyond by helping us identify all the other keys the previous homeowners left us. We had a small mix up, where we did not identify all the locks that needed to be rekeyed, so we called Rafi to let him know. He came back the same day and was so extremely kind about it. We really appreciated Rafi's work and will use Magic Lock and Key again if we have any future needs. read more

Excellent, high-quality service at a very reasonable price. I had other locksmiths come out and quote absolutely insane prices, trying to take advantage--but in today's world, people have AI and can accurately estimate fair pricing. This locksmith was honest, kind, and truly trustworthy. He explained everything clearly and charged a fair rate. That's how real business should be done. Honest work always wins. Rafi owns Magic Lock and Key and he has the BEST REVIEWS on YELP! I called him after I had a terrible experience with another locksmith from Van Nuys. Rafi came the same day I called him, and he replaced 2 locks, one on gate and one on front door. He charged me only 10% of the amount the other locksmith tried to charge me. Rafi is the ONLY locksmith I trust, and I will always call Rafi! read more

One of my clients is a banking institution. I am representing them as their real estate agent, and they had to evict the tenants on a foreclosed property. We needed a locksmith while the sheriff was on the property; otherwise, months and years of legal battles would have been thrown out the door. Rafi showed up on time, and when we needed him again for another matter, he was there on time as always and provided great value for the service. Thank you. read more

I hired Magic Lock and Key for the first time today and I can tell you Rafi is worth all the 5 star reviews on Yelp! He is awesome! The kindest, nicest guy, (even nice to my pets), totally honest, highly experienced, efficient, came an hour after I called him. My front door lock had gotten loose and janky over the years. I was considering putting a new door handle/lock assembly on my front door but he took my lock apart, tightened everything, placed DW40, reassembled and it works like new! He said I don't need a new one right now and this one will last quite a while a while. He also made me a new spare key. He only charged me $125 which I think was a great price. I was very happy with this experience and shouldn't have waited so long! Great locksmith!! read more

This guy is a stud!! This is the most honest review I can give. After locking ourselves out the last thing I wanted to do was call a locksmith, considering most are dishonest and sleazy. Rafi is the opposite. I sent him the door knob thru text and he gave me a low price upfront. No Bs. He didn't need to come and make an excuse why it's more than he quoted. He just gave me the price. 30 minutes later he made it look easy and was incredibly nice and friendly. DONT GO TO THE OTHER GUYS WHO WONT EVEN GIVE YOU A QUOTE BEFORE THEY GET THERE. THEY'RE SCAMMERS WHO WILL RIPP YOUR DOOR KNOB OUT AND CHARGE YOU HUNDREDS. Rafi is a true locksmith and not that wanna be in this situation again but if I am I now have a guy for the job. read more
