Someone tried to break into my car and jammed the lock so my keys wouldn't work. Insurance was going to charge me for a tow, but wouldn't even open the lock! I called Safeway Locksmith, and they were upfront about their price ($85), which is the same as other places I called. They came within ten minutes of my phone call... then thanked me for my patience as if that was a long time to wait (the other place was going to take 3 hours). They were very polite, and explained what they were doing. He broke open the lock (after asking my permission) then magically fixed the lock so now my key works. Beware!!!! This locksmith guy is a crook and has crazy anger issues!!! He almost hit me and tried snatching my key off my hand because I told him the copied key is not working. He said he didnt care and I had to pay because he copied my key whatsoever. I got that, but before he made the keys he told me if the new copied key doesnt work then he wont charge me anything. He then started screaming causing a scene and called the police and while he was on the phone with the police he started shouting profanity and racial slurs towards me. It was insane. I also called the police and they told me they can arrest him with battery because he aggressivley hit my hand trying to snatch my key away from me. I just paid the key copy fee of $40. I wanted 2 copies but the man made 1 first, told us to go test it out, then he proceeded to make the 2nd. I had originally gone to Lowes to get the duplicates but they weren't able to do it. This place definitely has a lot of key options. The name of the business confused my dad at first because he thought they were located inside a Safeway grocery store.
