Need a locksmith in LA? Do not hesitate. Call Sunny now! I lost my car keys last night during what should've been a night of celebration. With a group of others, I had just witnessed my childhood best friend propose to his longtime partner at the LA State Historic Park at sunset. The plan was to celebrate afterward at a local downtown brewery. I had parked a block away on Main and come to find I lost my car keys! I quickly panicked. Luckily I had another amazing friend who was still nearby and supported me throughout the situation. Called AAA. Retraced my steps. Park was already closed so I could not look there. The AAA tech had only unlocked the car for me. He recommended I find a locksmith as he strongly advised I do not leave my car in the area that it was. We found Sunny on Yelp. I had also called another locksmith found on GoogleMaps but their cost was much higher. Sunny arrived at my stranded car in less than half an hour. He took another half hour or so to make an original copy of my Toyota key. Quick and easy transaction with a slight convenience fee charge for using credit card. Lifesaver! read more

My 2011 4Runner key snapped right out of the key fob as I went to start it a couple of days ago. I went to Yelp and requested a mobile locksmith. Mr Lee met me at my place of employment, keyed two keys and programmed one of the fobs. Made sure the card started and the buttons worked. Thanked me and he was gone! The price was a fraction of what Toyota would have charged me. Very professional and got the job done in about 30 minutes. read more

I have a commercial metal door and I needed to install a high security mul-t lock, called few places and most of them can't do the job, the lowest quote I got was around $200 . Then I called sunny locksmith, David answered the phone and i got amazing low quote of only $100 !!! He said he will be in my place in 20 minutes, and he showed up on time. Did a great precise job making the hole on the metal door and also the hole on the metal frame and installing, testing the lock. Everything works perfect. Also installed additional part on the frame to make sure the lock won't move once the door is locked, charged additional $25 for that part but gave me $5 discount, so total cost was $120. Thank you david for the fast service, and ill will be calling you again for any locksmith service. read more

AMAZING!!! Saved my life. Unfortunately I wasn't able to catch his name, maybe the owner? But, he seriously changed the day. For two days, I had been stumped over how to fix my door knob lock problem (door not latching properly), watching YouTube videos and getting ready to tear out my hair! He strolled in, took a look, and under 2 minutes fixed the problem. Just like that. Extremely professional, friendly, and worked with me to set up an appointment time based on my availability. I strongly recommend their services. If you want it done right the first time, call them! Thank you so much!!! read more

Came home from work late one night last week and dug through my purse, looking for my keys... gone... sheer panic mode. The security guard in my building told me that only the leasing office could access apartments, and it was way after office hours. He gave me the phone number for Sunny, who he said had serviced my building many times and came highly recommended. Sunny answered my inquiry immediately and arrived here within 10 minutes -- a promptness that's unheard of in LA! He was so kind and polite and got right to work. My lock was a tough, brand new one, and he opened it in under 10 minutes. So the whole transaction took about 20 minutes, cost was extremely reasonable, and he could not have provided better customer service. If you need a locksmith in LA, Sunny is your guy! read more

It was Sunday afternoon I locked myself out, my apartment management would charge me $150 but sunny charged me $70 w $5 dollar Yelp Review discount. From what I see on Yelp reviewa his PRICES VARY which isnt good but overall he was good. He simply opened the door with a long lever to turn the door knob to open the door. It took him 10 seconds to open it. Fast reponae rate, came without 20mins but for just simply opening the door without a a rekey/copy too expensive. Wish it was a little cheaper. read more

Amazing! I was locking up my shop and the key broke. I was so frustrated but called Sunny and he showed up in 20 minutes. Not to mention it was a Sunday on Mother's Day! He had to drill the lock to get in, resulting in a re-keying which I was fine with. $70 for the call and $50 for the lock. Not bad for a last minute life saver. Thanks! read more

I locked my house and car keys in my apartment during the morning rush to take my kid to school. I had to call an Uber for us to get to school and on the ride back home my driver Jun gave me the number to Sunny Locksmith and Safe. I called and Sunny arrived right away within 20 minutes. He opened the lock quickly and efficiently. I was worried I would have to get the whole doorknob and lock replaced but he just used some tools to get it open. Great service and I will be sure to call Sunny if I ever lock myself out again. read more

Got locked out of my apartment, yelped locksmith, and this guy turned out to be blocks away. He picked up the phone after three rings, said he'd be there in 15. About 30 min later no word, so I called him back, he apologized and said 10 min (only reason this isn't a 5 star review). About 15 later he showed up. When he got here he went right to work. Picking a lock really does look like in the movies. A few pins and funny swiss army lookin tools. I think he was selling the act a little, but in 5 minutes time he pops my door open. Strangely disconcerting to know how easy it is to get through a locked door, but I was happy as can be at the time. He never initially mentioned the price, but I had already looked at the below yelp reviews before he finished to find $50 is his base rate, which apparently is a deal comparatively but for about 200 seconds of work it feels steep. Anyway, if you're reading this and it's not too late, HIDE A SPARE KEY IMMEDIATELY. If you're already locked out, check all your windows, and then call Sunny. read more
