I highly recommend Key Masters LA. I needed to replace the battery in my car key fob, so I went on Yelp and reached out to the business. Within five minutes of texting them, I received a response. In less than 20 minutes, I had an appointment scheduled, a price quote, and details about their payment options and mobile service. They come directly to you, which made the process incredibly convenient. I probably could have scheduled the service the same day, but I chose to book it for the following day. On the day of the appointment, the technician, Paul, was gracious, kind, and actually arrived before I did. He even told me to take my time getting there. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to show me the old battery, explaining the signs that indicated how old it was and why it had been causing problems. He also discussed options for getting an extra key fob in the future and provided me with pricing information so I could have a backup made when I'm ready. Fast, friendly, and professional service -- I couldn't be happier. Later that same night, I went to dinner with a friend who mentioned needing an extra key fob as well. I immediately forwarded Key Masters' Yelp profile to her. I've already recommended them to someone else, and I'll definitely continue recommending them in the future. read more

Keymasters answered my request promptly, had the best price, and were very easy to schedule with. Then, when they arrived for service, the tech was friendly and efficient and truly went above and beyond to make sure our key issue was taken care of and that we were set up to avoid this issue in the future. For reference, they came to us and cut keys and programmed a keyless compatible fob for our 2007 Prius. Absolutely recommend this company! Thank you guys! read more

Swift response and excellent customer service! Highly recommend business to everyone!

Got a keyfob made for my Chrysler minivan. I reached out to several places, but Keymasters LA was the quickest to reply. Answered all my questions. And was also the best price for an OEM replacement. They also showed up promptly and the tech was kind and efficient. Best place in town! read more

I highly suggest keymasters if you are in need of an automotive locksmith. I needed a new keyfob since the current one was experiencing some technical issues on me. I hit up keymasters and they came in same day. PAUL from keymasters came in and did his thing. Got me a new keyfob made sure it worked and didn't leave until the error message from my vehicle went away. I can assure you, you are paying the price for good service and quality. So if you need a duplicate or a new key fob or any lock services, they can do it all. CALL KEYMASTERS read more

Keymasters LA - New key fob - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

My auntie got robbed at the supermarket in Puente Hills. As she was loading up her groceries in Puente Hills, apparently a very large woman was waiting to snatch my aunt's purse... which had $800 gifted from her brothers from Chinese New Year, and her key fob to the car. I immediately rushed over to her to help her move her car, and called AAA. Except AAA couldn't tow the car right away... for the Lexus LS460, it's an electronic hand brake.. and you need the key to turn it off, regardless of whether the car is set to neutral. I sent out a Yelp request for mobile keyfob replacement, and Keymasters was the 2nd to answer, with a very competitive (okay, the best pricing out of all the offers that came in), and a hard timeline of when they would arrive, and when the job would be done. 30 minutes to arrive. 20 minutes to sync and reprogram the new keyfob while locking out all old and stolen keyfobs. No joke, Paul really came within 30 minutes. And he was done in less than 20 minutes. While the keyfob isn't exactly OEM with the Lexus logo, at least the price was less than half of OEM (easily over $500 from your local stealership Lexus dealers). Really friendly, really personable, really easy to work with, no nonsense. And he hails from the land of some of my favorite F1 drivers: Ayrton Senna, Rubens Barrichello, and Felipe Massa. Thank you for rescuing my aunt from a night of hardship! read more

It was easy to get hold of Nathan. He came out the next day and fixed the problem the day after. Everything was smooth.

Had a great experience working with Netanel at KeyMasters LA. He was professional, personable and worked quickly. He also worked with us to find a reasonable price given the scope of the project we wanted to take on. We were able to establish the short term fixes and understand the costs to make the more expensive changes over time. We feel a lot safer in our home given the work Netanel performed. He had to drop by after the work was completed to tweak a couple things and he did at no cost. We highly recommend KeyMasters LA to future homeowners and look forward to working with Netanel again down the road. read more

They did an excellent job. They arrived on time and did the job and asked for the same payment that we had agreed on.

Great professional service and immediate response provide very happy and highly recommend their services! Thank you!

This was a great service. It was a quick fix for the old key I had and I got a key replacement for a fair price and they come to you right on time. This is an excellent service. Would recommend and use this service again. Thank you!!! read more

I requested a quote for replacement key fob for my 2010 Lexus RX450H as I lost my 1 and only key over the weekend. They had a flat rate fee of $235. They were able to dispatch someone to my residence in a few hours. Paul arrived and was able to open my car, create the keyfobs (I paid extra for an extra keyfob) and reprogram the computer in the car within 25 mins. He was quick, friendly and gave me a breakdown of what he was going to to do. Once he opened the car and verified the car was registered to me, it was easy going after that. Highly recommend. I had other quotes that were much higher and he did it for less. The biggest thing I looked for was if the business was licensed and they were. read more

Shout out to Yelp's Project Feature. It saves you time by having companies come to you with bids for your project. The best part is that most if not all the companies that submit bids carry the "Covered by Yelp Guaranteed" badge. This means that your project is eligible for coverage up to $2,500 when you hire a business with the YELP Guaranteed badge. That's how I found Keymasters LA. They were one of five companies who bid to provide me with a replacement key FOB, as well as program it, for my 2022 Toyota Prius. They were professional and responsive to all of my questions, and they helped to put my mind at ease in choosing them for my project. Once I decided to move forward with the project, I was able to schedule it the same day, and they even came to my job. Shout out to Paul the technician who came to do my project. He was pleasant, respectful, and knowledgeable. He explained the process to me and a job that was initially quoted as requiring 30 minutes only took 15 to complete. I choose Keymaster LA, not only because of their customer service but because their price for: -an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) replacement key FOB -programming -1 year warranty was much cheaper than the dealer wanted to charge. Last but certainly not least shout out to Keymasters LA because not only do they take credit cards but they also do tap and pay. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to replace and/or program a car key FOB. read more

Paul from Keymasters LA was fantastic! Super friendly and fast service with great pricing. All I needed was a backup car key fob made, so there was no real rush. Paul was excellent, as advertised and even gave us advice on our second car that had key trouble.

Paul came to my home and made a new key fob for my 2020 Toyota Highlander. He was very polite, punctual, and got the job done in about 15-20 minutes. The price was also in line with what other locksmiths quoted me, so I felt it was fair. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend them. read more

He was very nice, very professional, very knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciated his honesty as well. He provide me with beyond excellent customer service and went well above and beyond. Keymasters LA - They are quick, courteous, professional and reasonably priced! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

My mailbox key snapped in half, I needed the documents in my mailbox immediately, and I had no idea how to resolve the issue on my own. I put out requests to multiple businesses concerning this issue, and out of everyone who responded it was Keymasters LA who did so in a professional, friendly, and non-pushy manner. They didn't try to upsell me, they didn't try to push me to pick them, they just factually stated what I needed and how much it would cost (lower than any other business). It just felt right to select them from as early as the first exchange of pleasantries. They kept in contact with me from the first step to the last, let me know when they were on the way, when they had arrived, and where to meet them. Communication was clear in terms of what they could provide to resolve my situation, the out the door price with no hidden fees, and the required time to do so. They provided same day service (as fast as 1 hour after I contacted them), carried an extremely wide range of products to resolve most any lock-based issues, and completed the job in less than 10 minutes. The name of the Keymasters LA engineer who handled my case was Nathan of which was one of the most knowledgeable, friendly, and expertise enriched individuals I have ever met. Not only did he resolve my lock-based issue, but he also educated me on why the issue occurred in the first place, and how to prevent it from happening again. Are important documents (such as a paycheck) sitting in your mailbox? Are any bills or payments due in a few days (IE property taxes)? Finally, did your mailbox key snap in half? If you answered yes to these questions, then you should contact Keymasters LA. read more

Awesome all around. Will call them again. November 2025: Needed a vehicle key fob copied. Messaging responsiveness/accurate answers to my questions: Top notch, excellent Pricing transparency: Top notch, excellent - gave final price up front. And held to final price at time of payment. No hidden programming fees or service call fees (like others who spring them on us after they arrive). Work quality/speed: Again top notch, excellent - technician was skilled, efficient, knowledgeable, courteous, straightforward. There are a lot of locksmiths on Yelp.
