Quality not quantity. However, these guys are more quantity than quality. I hired them to open a lock, and while they were super fast, the guy literally was probably here for 15 minutes, drilled the lock and left all the shards and nails behind. They were more focused on going to the next job than doing quality work. Also the main problem of opening the lock with the wood getting stuck they didn't fix and now I have to hire a handyman in addition to fix it. read more

Accidentally locked myself out of our new apartment while I was moving some boxes in on a Sunday night. Of course I would lock myself out when the Leasing Office is closed and the onsite Resident Manager is out of town. That's a whole other story, so I'll spare you the boring details. I searched Yelp (of course!) and saw MS Locksmith Services and all the great reviews, so I gave them a call, and the nice young lady I spoke with told me that a technician would call me in about 5-10 minutes. I got a call almost right away and the technician said he could be there in about 20 minutes. He showed up promptly with a humble yet confident attitude and the right tools to get the job done. He was polite and explained what he would be doing before he started the job, and he gave me a few options, like if I wanted to change the lock, etc. He also assured me that he would be able to unlock the door without causing much if any damage, and though it took him a few tries, he was true to his word. Once the door was open, he verified my ID, I paid him via Venmo, and he was on his way. Very quick and simple, and he charged me $125, which I felt was fair for a Sunday night and how quickly he got to the apt and got the door open. Matan Shefer is a genuine, humble, and honest man. I put in a Yelp request for lock rekeying on our large sliding "collapsible wall" door locks and Matan responded via the Yelp service request quickly and affirmed they could do this sort of lock and gave me a simple upfront quote, and after providing the address, stated he could send someone over within a couple hours. The locksmith, Bruce, called over shortly after and estimated a time of arrival and then called when he was on the way. He quickly got the lock cylinders out and took them to his vehicle where the machinery was for rekeying and then came back and reassembled everything and double checked it all worked. He also took the time to make sure we could work the locks and how to turn the keys. Bruce and Matan were easy to work with and friendly, Matan even called to double check after the job was finished. I appreciate the customer service and will happily call them again for any locksmith needs.
