Needed a quick locksmith service because I unfortunately couldn't find my original keys at the last minute before an international trip Jin came highly recommended on Yelp. He happened to reply after I had already scheduled someone else, but I decided to book an earlier appointment with him to at least have him assess the situation He arrived on time and was able to get everything sorted out fairly quickly. One thing I would recommend is confirming the pricing and getting a quote beforehand, since there wasn't a prior quote and there was some initial confusion about the cost. Definitely better to clarify everything before any work begins I ended up having two locks installed, one smart lock and one traditional lock, and both installations were done pretty quickly. He also made duplicate keys for me, which was convenient. The work itself was efficient, although there was some debris left behind that I had to clean up afterward Overall, I'd recommend Jin if you're looking for something quick and effective, especially if you're in a last-minute situation like I was. Just keep in mind that the service can be on the pricier side, and I'd recommend confirming the quote and scope of work upfront. Still, I'm glad I was able to get the locks and keys sorted out before my trip! read more

UPDATE: Two weeks after my key was fixed, the remote on my car was no longer working . I had to unlock/lock my doors manually. I called Mr jin to see if he can look at my key again. As a young woman, i felt that having a functioning key remote made me feel safer . Mr Jin came by and said that the battery was dead which i thought was very weird since he just made a brand new key 2 weeks ago?? Did he use an old battery? Or was there another underlying issue? I questioned him about this but he just kept saying it needs a new battery . He wouldn't show me what was wrong with the key, just kept going to his van to look at it and INSISTED it was the battery. It Still didnt add up to me ... Anyways he opened the key, replaced the battery and charged me $40 for his time and gas to come out to me. I thought that was CRAZY since the key was malfunctioning due to his own fault and he just replaced the battery?!!? I just paid him and then went on my way. At that moment, i knew that he lost my business moving forward. 3 weeks later my remote stops working AGAIN! I go to another locksmith and they opened up my key, showed me my remote and said that when mr. jin opened the key remote. He broke a small piece, the small piece missing promotes the battery to drain fast and/or is not allowing the battery to power the remote. They replaced the battery for me in the meantime and then recommended i get a whole new remote if the problem continues . TLDR: So I PAID THIS MAN OVER $250 FOR A BRAND NEW KEY THAT LASTED ME TWO WEEKS. HE DID NOT EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO INVESTIGATE WHY AND OVERCHARGED ME FOR A HALF-ASS JOB. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. NOW I NEED A WHOLE NEW KEY PROGRAMMED BECAUSE HE BROKE MY KEY & DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HES DOING read more

Beverly Locksmith - New car key and fob for 2013 Toyota Corolla - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Overall, a great experience! Jin was super helpful, efficient, and got the job done quickly once on site. The work itself was excellent. A couple of small notes for future customers: the final price was slightly higher than the original project quote once the full scope (two locks) was reconfirmed (but this was conveyed pre-arrival, so no surprises upon arrival), and arrival was about 40 minutes past the scheduled time (but I get it, LA traffic!). He also recommended cutting the locks since he couldn't make replacement keys, which means I will have to purchase some new bike locks again soon. Regardless, grateful for Jin to provide evening and weekend services! Also, I must say the price Jin charged was still more affordable than other locksmith businesses I contacted, so overall, this was a better value in the end! Plus, Jin was quick to respond via Yelp. Would recommend Jin for anyone needing quick, effective locksmith work, esp. for bike locks. Five stars for rescuing the bikes and communication! read more

Jin arrived within 15 min of our call, installed our Schlage lock and left the house clean. What more could you want from a locksmith. He was upfront on pricing and did work as expected. Very nice guy read more

Very quick and friendly service. The owner responded via YELP quickly. He was prompt and helpful with helping me figure out what locks to change and add. Highly recommend. read more

Called a few other locksmiths and was told I'd get a callback from a technician and never did. Wish I had tried here first because Jin was on his way immediately after the call with no waiting! Arrived in 15 minutes and he he my door open in under 5 minutes. Super friendly guy too. If you're locked out don't waste time shopping around and just call Beverly Locksmith!!! read more

Not responsive. Doesn't set realistic expectations. After several delays, I cancelled. There was way too much unnecessary ambiguity.

He's the best. And fast! He even met me in a location nearby a client he was finishing up with.

My particular situation had me upset when I woke up to find someone had broke into my Hyundai Sonata this morning. Both the door and the ignition lock were damaged and I just went on Yelp and sent a mass message to see quotes from different locksmiths around my area. Mr. Jin was the first one to respond immediately asking if he could possibly see the damage to see if he was able to work on my car. Free estimate. No strings attached. It was very kind of him to actually come to me as I was in such an annoyed mood this morning trying to find someone to fix the car today. Luckily, he told me could fix both but I decided to only get the ignition fixed as I've had the multiple break-ins happen and honestly the door repair wouldn't matter. He has mentioned that I should fix it, but will definitely call him when I do so. In the meantime, as a broke Angeleno, I went with his service as he was the best one to quote me out of all of the other places I've been having conversations with. I did have to get the part myself from the dealership only because he was booked all day and wasn't able to retrieve the part, but I didn't mind as I knew this was something I wanted fixed today. He went out of his way during his busy schedule to help me out as soon as possible and in a matter of less than 30 minutes, he was able to get the ignition started. Thank you Mr. Jin. I really appreciate the service and how attentive you were in providing this exceptional service. Definitely a trusthworthy individual. And obviously the other 900+ reviewers on here will testify on his behalf. From the looks of other photos as well as the testimonies, it seems that he has the capability of doing all locksmith work ranging from home keys, gates, locks, cars, and more. Thank you again Mr. Jin! read more

Super fast! Helped my grandfather get his car running just an hour after calling for a quote. Thank you so much.

Fast and great service. He was there in 20 minutes and took care of the problem in about an hour

Sweet and capable fellow! Really came to the rescue last minute and had the best price of many other places. Strong recommend!

Provided a detailed quote. I got a few other quotes from different companies to be sure. Went with Beverly for the vibes. Very pleasant and quality work. read more

Prompt and knowledgeable. Replaced rusted lock in wrought iron gate. Great quality. Good price.

He was communicative and helpful throughout the process! He made a key for the garage.

Jin did a great job. I locked my keys in the trunk of my car (driver's side latch doesn't work) and put Yelp on the job. I received numerous messages within seconds, but Jin was already on his way over. I was a hesitant, and actually told him to wait because I didn't want to waste his time if I liked another quote but he assured me the estimate would be free. He's super friendly and gave me 2 options to get into my trunk. I chose dismantling the rear seat because I was 80% certain the keys were in there. They were, and he was quick about dis and reassembly. I got a new key made while he was here, so I can say he's a fine locksmith, as well. read more

Replaced electronic lock quickly, and kindly....! Would definitely recommend them, thanks Jin...!

Went to duplicate a key and he had a variety of character keys (was looking to replace my Hello Kitty key). Responded pretty quickly and copied it in less than 10 minutes. Definitely worth the trip! read more

I needed a new Toyota Corolla key to be activated after losing my keys and they were able to do it at such a great price and quickly. After calling 3 different places they had the best price and also the highest reviews out of everyone so its basically a no brainer to go with them. A plus was the guy helped me pass battery to my car during the duplication process since my battery was basically dead after not being able to use it since losing my keys. He went above and beyond and I will definitely be using them in the future for any key duplications i need. Thank you read more

1. He didn't understand me 2. He wanted me to take the time to text him a picture of the key. This should be a simple job and he made it way to complicated. I chose to look elsewhere read more

Jin is the man. Needed a key fob replacement (with a key cut) and the dealership quoted a laughable, outrageous price. Instead, Jin got me sorted very quickly/same day for a reasonable price, AND did it in the sweltering heat with a smile too. I rarely leave reviews but he earned it. Thanks Jin!! read more

Absolutely wonderful service. Jin answered my request within 5 minutes, offered to come by immediately and was on-time. He quickly unlocked my door and was very courteous. I had locked myself out of my house so just needed to get back in and he was as quick and efficient as it sounds. Plus, definitely the best price around. I was really impressed with how responsive, respectful, and efficient Jin was. My car key essentially shattered and he was able to replace it for an incredibly fair price. I'll be recommending him to anyone I know who has any sort of lock issue. read more

We've called two locksmiths in the last month, which means it's probably time to learn how to pick locks ourselves instead of forking over a bunch of cash whenever someone accidentally closes a locked door. This time, it was our three-year-old, who decided to turn the lock on our bedroom door and not tell anyone, so that the next time it closed, we could not get in. Of course this happened like an hour before bedtime, with essential items behind the door. I panicked and found Beverly Locksmith on Yelp, with over 900 reviews and a 5-star average. I called the number and the locksmith picked up immediately, at dinnertime on a Tuesday evening. He was at my house within half an hour, and had the door to our room open like five minutes after that, even with the three-year-old culprit talking at him the whole time. He was friendly to both me and the kid. We gave our son a stern talk about locking our door and are hopeful that it won't happen again. There is, of course, some chance that he locks it just to bring the locksmith back to our house. If we aren't expert lock pickers by then, I'll be happy to have Beverly Locksmith's number in my pocket. read more

AMAZING LOCKSMITH - will continue to go to Jin - responded so quickly to if he can copy my key, the price, and he was able to do it right away - copied the key in 2 minutes - each copy was only $15! - very kind, quick, responsive, and efficient - the key was a difficult key to copy, so I wasn't able to copy it at other key copy kiosks. Jin did it SO WELL so quickly!! If you need someone as a locksmith, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Will keep going here and recommending Jin to my friends for someone who is kind, quick, and great at his job for a cheap price read more

great communication. quick arrival and finished the job even faster than he promised. easy. honest. fair price.

Jin saved me! Very responsive and got me back in the house quickly. And he's very kind. Highly recommend and thank you Jin!

Beverly Locksmith was exactly what I needed. My front entry gate lock was on its last legs. I purchased a new lock that was shaped differently than what the gate currently could fit. Jin came out the very next day after I contacted him. He assessed the situation and quoted me half of what I had been quoted previously for the job. In just a few hours, he had cut my iron gate to properly accept a new steel box that he welded on and painted/color matched to the rest of the gate. All throughout, he had a great attitude and was very knowledgeable. We will use him again to fix some additional (smaller) lock issues we've got at the house. read more

I used his service two times. He can fix the lock/door from residential to commercial. He's very fast and thorough. Five star for sure!! Our place was under cleaning process after a fire incident and somehow our one of threes locks was bolted locked from inside. We did not have a key for it and there was no way to get in. So called Mr. Jin and he somehow open the door less than 10 minutes! He was even able to switch the lock and match the key with the bottom lock so that we don't have to have too many keys. It all happened total of less than 15minutes. He's so fast and great! read more
