Then from there he increased the rate again significantly the night before the appointment stating that it was because I didn't do a cleaning last month. I was away for work for a few weeks so I obviously wouldn't need a cleaning but I did try to book them that month in question and they weren't available before my trip so I opted to have them come after my trip which is why I couldn't book them last month. Felt like they were extorting me and putting me in the last minute situations knowing I had no other option to be fulfilled in time.

I noticed several things she missed and asked her to dust the fan and she dusted one fan and seemed in a rush to leave but I thought this was because she'd run over time or had to go to a next appointment so I tipped her and she left quickly. When I told the woman on the phone she didn't clean the fridge and other things she was apologetic but told me the fridge wasn't on the checklist so I checked the checklist they sent and went around to the things on the checklist and as you can see from the pictures the other things on the checklist were not clean... The worst part is this is a move in cleaning. So there was no furniture she had to work around and no furniture to clean! For 3 hours with no furniture everything should be clean. I thought they'd offer for someone to come back or money off a next cleaning but they didn't offer anything except apologies.

So, was happy with them for some things and not so happy with others…read more The good: They did clean a lot of things I didn't anticipate; and did a fantastic job on the owner's suite bathroom tub, caulk seal, and grout. The meh: Their dusting was just ok - a lot left in the blinds. The ugly: They turned my side table around to clean behind it, and things weren't returned to the state they were in. The drawers were facing the bed so they wouldn't open, the power cord management box was behind the side table vice beside it, lamps were unplugged. Also, we have those "Indows" plexiglass window inserts for sound isolation. They pulled one of them out (to clean the window i guess) and managed to scratch the plexiglass in the process - about a 4-5" gash, and did not put the indow back in. I mean, I thought they didn't do windows anyway? Why wouldn't they ask how it worked or if they should clean the window? I think if I were to have them back I'd have to supervise, or set expectations for them not to touch windows and to return things the way they were.

Unfortunately, my second experience was the complete opposite. The appointment started with confusion regarding the arrival and the scope of the cleaning. Shortly after starting, the cleaner informed me that her vacuum was not working and asked to use my personal vacuum cleaner instead. Despite spending nearly two hours in the apartment, the quality of the cleaning was extremely disappointing. Windows were not cleaned, mirrors were left streaky, dust and debris remained, visible spots were still present on the floors, and none of the trash bins--including the bathroom trash bin--were emptied. Overall, it appeared that only the most visible surfaces had been wiped down. To make matters worse, I was later contacted about an additional pet fee because the cleaner reported that I have a dog. No dog was present during the cleaning. My dog has been staying elsewhere, so the only indication that I own a dog would have been a dog crate and water bowl in the apartment. When I contacted customer service, I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously. Rather than trying to understand the quality concerns, the response focused on explaining why the experience occurred and what I should have done differently. My first experience was genuinely excellent, which makes this even more disappointing. Based on the quality of the cleaning and, most importantly, the way the concerns were handled by the company afterward, I will not be using this company again.
