Hired this company, who claimed expertise in retaining wall construction and strengthening the connected wooden walll. I paid over $50,000+ for the work and other landscaping work. When issues arose, I even paid an additional $1,000 for them to return and fix the wooden wall. Despite this, the wall was not properly fixed, and the entire structure is now broken after only three years. The owner refuses responsibility and offers no remedy. This company is unaccountable and cannot be trusted. read more

I contacted JC Landscaping to prune a tree in my yard. They were very responsive, respectful, and competitively priced. They did a great job (including cleanup) and made sure that I was satisfied before they left. The one thing business wise that they didn't provide was a receipt for payment. I believe this is super important for both sides (so I took a pick of me handing the money to one of the landscapers). If I could give 4.5 I would. A recent storm prompted me to take care of a tree with some dead / hazardous limbs and ivy. I took the opportunity to also have some garden beds prepared in my yard. JC Landscaping was responsive (called me on the same day I submitted a request) and friendly. They came by the next day to give me an estimate which was a fair price given the amount of work and the number of workers they brought out for the job. Two days later they came and did the work. They did a great job cleaning the ivy completely off my trees and out of the garden beds. The trees also pose less of a hazard to my home now thanks to the trimming. Edwin and JC Landscaping did a wonderful job on our small backyard. The backyard was extremely overgrown with a tall tree we wanted removed. JC Landscaping cleared everything, ground stumps (when we had been told by other businesses there was no way to get a grinder into the yard), and laid a paver path. Not only did they complete all tasks in one day, their rate was great, and they fixed part of the fence without being asked. Edwin was also professional and easy to work with. And I couldn't believe it, but they came to my home two days later to measure the space for the concrete, allowed me to add on two smaller sections when I had an afterthought at the last minute, and had the whole project done in less than a week. Edwin came out the same day I was looking to get an estimate to remove a tree and others trimmed. He stated he could get it removed within the week if it worked with our schedules. I told him I was available mostly only on weekends. After agreeing on the price he was able to come out the very next day with his crew. He was also able to remove some other small trees for us that were not initially in our original estimate. My mind is now at ease knowing the trees are not hanging over our house. When I told them of my unique circumstances (I was having a fence installed in a few days) they figured out a way to get me in early and get the job done before the fence was installed so it didn't cost more money (much more expensive to take down trees when there's a fence).
