Jose and team did a great job bringing down five trees in my yard that were either diseased, too close to the house, or dangling dangerously over the street. These were pretty large, 75-100 year old trees. It was a two day job but it went off without a hitch. They cleaned up nicely after themselves too, leaving fewer branches than were on the ground even before they started and they also swept them off my roof for good measure. While it's not ever going to be a cheap job, I think the price they charged was fair for a full two day job of dangerous work. (I don't even get on stepladders, these guys were 40 feet in the air! Yikes!) I would absolutely call them again if any of the other trees start misbehaving. read more

What won us over was not only his availability, but his guidance on what trees should come down and what should stay up. It seemed as though my home's safety was also a priority of his own. Wow! I was struggling with trees coming over the fence from both neighbors side with lots of dead trees and stumps in the yard. There was a huge bush growing between my neighbors fence and ours. This is the 2nd time I have used Marquez Tree Services, and I have to write another 5-star review. See the photo -- the tall tree (maybe 35 feet) was leaning, and surrounded by wires. Marquez was able to cut the tree down in segments to remove completely, from the top down to the stump. Working with so many wires was tricky, and they professionally held the wires back, and protected my plants, too. Garden plants are intact, they raked all tree debris and leaves away, and now the dying tree is no longer in danger of falling on wires or on cars in the street.
