This tree company is the best in the DMV area. I will definitely refer them to my neighbors. Jose, the owner is the most experienced tree person. read more

We have used Francisco and his crew to do tree and yard work around our house in McLean for many years now. He has always, consistently, done a great job on everything and even does little extras for us that may arise during the project. He's very friendly, professional and thorough and his company is great! We have recommended him to many of our friends. read more

Romeo's completed 3 days work at my condo removing several 5-story high trees. These guys were amazing. I had an unobstructed view from my corner apartment and THEY NEVER STOPPED WORKING. Further, they worked like a precision drill team: mobilized equipment (mulchers, cranes, backhoes) quickly and quietly, pulverized and cleaned up completely, and ground the tree stumps into mulch. I was very impressed. Usually I would expect a few workers to be under-utilized, but this team was perfectly synchronized, fluid, and relentlessly busy. 5 stars! Highly recommended. read more

We are SO grateful for Romeo's Tree service! We had a very unfortunate tree incident that resulted in a giant tree from our yard falling into our neighbor's yard, narrowly missing their house. In a frazzled panic I googled emergency tree service and went with the first suggestion with good reviews and hoped for the best. Romeo and his team were AMAZING. They were at the house within 15 minutes, on a week night, they assessed the job and got to work. The tree was removed and the yards cleaned up so quickly, I could hardly believe it. They were professional, efficient and the price for the quality of work cannot be beat. Highly, highly recommend. We'll use Romeo's service for every tree removal from here on out. They saved our butts! read more

Romeo's Tree Service - Tree Services Near Me - Glenn Dale, Maryland

Just used this company for a tree and stump removal and a pruning this morning and couldn't be happier. They arrived on time, did the work quickly and expertly, and cleaned up so well you couldn't even tell they had been here. Their pricing is excellent, far more reasonable than many other local companies. I have used other services in the past and Romeo was by far the best. Highly recommended. read more

The tree service provided by ROMEO's Tree Service (Glenn Dale, Maryland) for my entire project was a "WOW" moment. From the professionalism, the skillful staff, the cleanup, all the way to the customer service to my neighbor's property, was 100% amazing and the price was extremely, extremely reasonable. I had a variety of twelve 30-year-old trees, that all towered over my house with their roots damaging my driveway and foundation. In 2 1/2 days, all 12 trees were removed, stumps grinded, and impeccable cleanup performed. They even removed the pinecones and needles from my neighbor's yard as part of the cleanup from the 6 pine trees they removed from my yard. Some of their equipment could not fit through my wood fence gate. But that didn't stop their plan. With my permission of course, they removed part of my fence to widen the opening. The drivers with such precision and accuracy drove those huge trucks, and cranes, and remote grinder into my back & front yards. It was amazing watching them work. The safety and communication between the tree climber and grounds-men as they roped and cut-down those trees was a site-to-see. Once the job was complete, they put my fence back better than it was. If you ever need any type of tree service performed, give ROMEO's Tree Service a call FIRST. Don't waste your time with other estimates. Out of 10 estimates over a 1-year period, Romeo's prices were SUPERB for a tree service company that is licensed & bonded with insurance and goes above and beyond in customer satisfaction. I received much more than I paid for. My neighbors have already asked me for Romeo's Tree Service contact information, and I've gladly provided it. I rarely recommend or write reviews, but this was a must for all future folks who need an excellent job performed in tree removal (regardless of size), tree pruning, and tree stump grinding. Have a GREAT day on purpose! read more

No Show Frank came out right away and gave me a quote that was more than fair. He promised to call to confirm our appointment for the work. He never did and after three phone calls and a text I gave up and went with another company. read more

Romeo came out right away to look at the issues we had with the trees in are yard with falling branches. He was very knowledgeable about how to prevent the trees from falling and the rules as they relate to my neighbors. They were out within a few days and finished quickly. Romeo was a great resource and I'd pick him again for his services. Now my kids can play in the yard without any potential dangers of falling branches. read more

Romeo's Tree Service = Professional Operation, Reasonable Price, Attention to Detail, Outstanding End Results. From start to finish, working with Romeo's Tree Service was exceptional. The owner, Romeo, does an outstanding job explaining the scope of the job and rationale behind his planned work. The crew was outstanding, professional, and impressive. Conducting tree work is a dangerous and imperfect science. From start to finish, I could tell that the owner and crew were experienced, knowledgeable, and credible. Given the shear amount of tree work that I had accomplished, I was stunned by how little tree debris was left on my property. They did a great job cleaning up and ensuring the job was completed safely and to my satisfaction. The end results of the job far exceeded my expectations, and I have very high standards. I give this company an A++ and highly recommend Romeo's Tree Service. I will definitely use them again and if you choose them for your tree and yard maintenance needs, you will not be disappointed. read more

I've used Romeo's tree services twice now and I highly recommend them! Romeo and his team are reasonably priced, professional, and very capable. I shopped around with several tree companies and they were the only ones that took care of everything. I didn't have to apply for permits to shut down one lane of the street, which I really appreciated. They took down my diseased elm tree, ground the stump, and hauled the debris away. With the new sod in place (not installed by Romeo), you would be hard pressed to believe that there used to be a gigantic tree there. I couldn't be happier with the service. Again, I highly, highly recommend them. read more

We hired Romeo's Tree Service to cut down and very tall white oak in our yard. Romeo gave us a very fair quote which compared with three others, was the lowest. He called me to remind me of the appointment and did an awesome job. They also ground the stump for an equally fair price. His team was on time and did great work. Romeo himself checked the stump to make sure all ground up. They found a metal pipe within the tree stump that must have been old where the tree actually grew over it. They dug it up as well. Full clean up. Highly recommend Romeo and his crew. read more

I don't usually write reviews unless it is well deserved and the company did an outstanding job. In this case Romeo and his crew exceeded all expectations. Reasonable prices and easy scheduling make Romeo's Tree Service the go-to company for your tree removal needs. On top of everything else, Romeo is just a nice guy and takes the time to talk to you about your project. I can't recommend these guys enough. A+++ read more

We needed a tree service this past weekend after the wind storm. Romeo was able to come out the next morning for an assssment and had his team out just a few hours later. They did a great job, cleaned up the mess well, were very quick and efficient, and as far as tree removal goes, weren't crazy expensive. I will definitely hire them again if need be! read more

This company was recommended to me. The owner came out to give me an estimate to remove four trees and trim three. When I was ready to move forward, his son came out to provide the services, but he did not want to uphold the estimate. He wanted to increase it by more than $1k. I was very disappointed with this company and their lack of professionalism. I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

WOW - very nice job ! They removed two massive old trees from the side of my house. I called around and got four quotes and Romeos was the best price plus they were able to come quickly. The other places were quoting me dates after 12/1 (I was calling mid September). They brought large trucks and equipment and made quick work of the big trees. They even cut some firewood for me and carefully stacked it in the back yard. read more

Romeo and his crew were here a few minutes earlier than scheduled which is always a plus. He asked me exactly what I was looking for and what I wanted to get cut down. I mentioned maybe coming back for other trees since I couldn't afford them all at once and he was more than accommodating. I had my a HUGE maple tree trimmed and one other smaller tree cut all the way down. They were done within 3 hours!!!! They such a great job that my next door neighbor asked them to cut her trees down as well and they were able to complete hers on the same day. I will definitely be contacting Romeo for my father's tree. read more

I hired these guys to take down a pair of Massive tulip poplars and a smaller tree that were in danger of falling thru my house. A team of 6 guys showed up on time and worked like beavers all day in the 100 degree heat. I watched them in awe part of the time, it was like watching a well planned dance. They made it look safe and easy. When they were done they did an excellent job of cleaning everything up. After they left, I measured the stumps, one was 54 inches across. I would hire these guys again in an instant. Good people and a job well done. read more

The provider came by, gave me a quote. I called MISS Utility to get the area marked and I called them to have the tree removed. They kept saying they would show up but never did. When I called them, they said they would send the crew when they had some time because it was a "small job". They didn't show up. I called again and they said Saturday. They never showed up. I called again. They said within the next week. They never showed up. I called again, they said Monday 8-830am. I stayed home from work. They never showed up. I called and was told the crew was at another job. I also let them know that it was crucial I get the tree removed today because other contractors are waiting for the tree to be removed to do their job. Because the tree was not removed now I have to cancel the other contractor and incur that cost. If you want a contractor that takes you seriously even for "small jobs" don't go with this provider. read more

We were very happy with Romeo's Tree Service. We had two properties with overgrown yards to clean out including over 28 trees, most very tall. Job was challenging as trees were near house and powerlines. They had all necessary equipment and the right expertise for each tree situation and their price was reasonable. Romeo and his team were professional, responsive and pleasant. Would hire again and highly recommend. read more

I didn't contact this company for service, they appeared to be subcontractors for a local utility. My husband and I came home from shopping and found that our driveway was completely blocked with tree limbs of all sizes. I had to get out to clear a way into the driveway so we could get in. We are not young, and it was not easy to get all of the clutter cleared enough. Some of the branches were quite large and heavy. The two men who were working on this were totally indifferent to our plight. I told them that we needed to get into the driveway so we could unload our groceries. One man just shrugged and grinned and said "Sorry". So no help lifting these heavy limbs. I was furious. My husband has a bad back and I wasn't about to let him do any of the lifting. We finally got the car into the carport but had to remove some branches that had gotten stuck underneath the car. Crawling on the ground wasn't so great for my knees and back, either. I would love to complain to whatever utility or county government department selected these folks. I think they owe us an explanation and an apology. read more

Not impressed. Crew arrived 45 minutes late. Instructions were provided regarding the work that was needed. The crew informed me that the scope of what I wanted was probably beyond what they could get accomplished in one day. I absolutely understood and provided them what the priority items were. The foreman walked through those items with me and agreed. Upon my return, three hours later, the crew had not begun on the priority items and had instead begun working backwards on items which were clearly not as critical. I asked the foreman if they were going to ensure that the priority items were handled. He informed me that they would. When I returned three hours after that, the priority items were still not accomplished. I asked the foreman when the priority items were going to be handled. He then replied that the crew was not going to have enough time left to do those items and I would have to schedule for another day. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Additionally, at the end of the day, I was told that I was being charged an additional $200 because of "extra truck loads." This was never communicated prior. I specifically asked the crew upon their arrival what could be done within the scope of the deal that was paid for. There was never a mention of additional fees. Additionally, the clean-up was rushed and incomplete. I spent an hour this morning cleaning up wood chips, branches, torn rope AND numerous water bottles left strewn throughout my property. The amount of damage done to my lawn was not acceptable. I have had several tree service companies serve my needs in the past with excellent outcomes. I chose to try another company due to the Angie's List deal that was offered and the listed reviews. Clearly, this offer is not a good deal if you do not get what you are expecting. The crew worked hard and I appreciate their efforts however I cannot say that the service that was provided met expectations. read more
