I made a clear agreement with my neighbor regarding pine branches from a tree located entirely inside my yard that were dripping sap onto his vehicles. I even provided a written letter stating he was permitted to remove only the branches extending over his property line, which is his legal right. I was explicit that no one was authorized to cross onto my property or perform any cutting from my side. Before the work began, Michael personally came to my front door. I clearly and directly repeated the same instructions to him: anything over the neighbor's property was fine, but absolutely no entry or work was permitted on my side of the property line. About a week later, Michael arrived without notice, entered my yard, climbed the tree, and began cutting branches from inside my property in direct violation of what had been clearly communicated to him twice. When my wife noticed the work happening, she alerted me and I immediately went outside and ordered him off my property. Instead of leaving, Michael argued with me and insisted he needed to continue entering the yard. I made it very clear he had only two options: perform the work legally from the neighbor's side or do nothing at all. Even then, he continued arguing for several minutes and still refused to leave. At that point, my wife contacted Montgomery County Police, who responded, documented the incident with a case number, and informed Michael's crew that any further entry onto our property would constitute trespassing. The responding officer later returned to my home and asked us to report any additional issues immediately. Based on this experience, Michael's Tree and Landscape Company showed a blatant disregard for property boundaries, direct homeowner instructions, and basic professional ethics. This was confrontational, unauthorized, and required police intervention. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company to avoid them entirely. read more

Don't use this liar. He trespassed on my property to cut some limbs hanging over my neighbors driveway. He was hired by my neighbor. They had written instructions not to come onto my property. He proceeded to hack my tree up and come on my property. He was asked to leave and refused until the police came. There is a police report. He is a liar and thief. read more

If I could give Mike 10 stars, I would. I am SO thankful to him and his crew for EVERYTHING they have done for us this past week!! I posted on a local Facebook group looking for recommendations for tree removal. We had 5 trees that needed to come down, including one that would literally fall very soon onto my neighbor's property. I called 3 places for estimates. Mike was the first one to come out, the SAME DAY to take a look. He stood out in the wind and rain and looked at every tree and pointed out all the issues with each tree and why they needed to go. He spent time talking to us and answering all of our questions. He never rushed us. The other 2 places that came out over the next 2 days spent about 30 seconds in the yard, never walked up to the trees, just had us point them out, told us they would email us an estimate and left. My husband and I knew then and there that we wanted Mike to do the job. His price was not only the most fair and reasonable, but his customer service was second to none. He even called two days later to check on the status of the dangerous tree. We told him we wanted him to do the job but were waiting on urgent approval from the HOA. He continued to check in with us in case he needed to come out to lay the tree down until we got the approval but fortunately the HOA approved it on Thursday evening of last week. Mike told us he had an important family appointment on Friday and might not be able to come out til Saturday morning which we totally understood. On Friday night, Mike and his crew were out taking down the trees!! He didn't want to wait for anything bad to happen with the tree that could fall. We were blown away by how much he cared!!! Mike's caring and compassion carried over into EVERY part of the job from the removal of the trees, to the clean-up, to the grinding of the stumps. Mike kept in communication with us 100% along the way. Then, to top it off, our neighbors behind us and next to us asked him if they could have the wood from the trees they cut down (we didn't want it). He went and cut up all the trees and put it in their yards! Again, we were just blown away by Mike's incredible service. Mike's passion for his work is SO rare to find these days. He cares about his customers a lot and makes sure they are happy and that the job is done right. What more can you ask for?? And that is what compelled me to write this long review. Moved in to a new house. Didn't have a backyard cause of all the trees. No natural light getting in the house. I called Mike and he came over for an expert professional assessment. He worked out a budget I could afford then went to work taking down more trees than I could count far exceeding my expectations. He did an excellent job. I was not disappointed. ***Do NOT use this Tree Service*** I hired Mike's Tree Removal & Landscaping to remove 4 trees and to top off a 5th tree. His knowledge of his profession was terrible.  He couldn't distinguish between the types of trees in my yard.  When his employees arrived to start the job, he changed what was initially agreed upon because he didn't want to top of the 5th tree.  He told me that it was illegal. If it was, maybe he shouldn't have told me that he could do it in the first place. Upon completion of the work, I wasn't at home.  He wanted to meet me on the way home from work to get paid by showing me pictures of my property.  This struck me as odd, so I declined and went home.  Once I got home, there were tree limbs and debris in the front of my AND my neighbor's house.  There was also still chopped wood that he had agreed to take with him in my yard. He didn't even attempt to clean up after he was "finished" with the job.  When I called to discuss the debris left on my property, he stated that he had a flat tire and was in a bad mood. Once I told him that he had left the wood that he agreed to take, he went ballistic.  He stated that he wasn't doing anything else and I stated that he wasn't getting paid until he finished the job. It went downhill quickly from there.  He made threats to come back & throw all of the debris back in my yard, he showed up with a trailer full of wood, backed up to my house, and started to throw the cut wood into my driveway. He was loud, belligerent, and unprofessional, he even knocked on my neighbor's door to complain that I was not trying to pay him. At the end, I had to get the police involved.  The officer told him that what he was attempting to do was against the law. He is unprofessional and will try to bully you into payment for incomplete work. DO NOT USE THEM! read more

I would actually rate them with no stars if I could. We scheduled a one-day tree removal and although we paid for the full service, the job was not completed. By late afternoon, they were almost done the work, so we paid the owner. He then left and the workers left before completing the job. The workers explained they'd be back to finish the next day. No one came back. Although they worked an 8 hour day and completed most of the job, they still did not finish. We called Mr. Jamsa, the owner, and our calls went right to voicemail with no response. I would never recommend this unprofessional and untrustworthy Company to anyone else. read more
