Amazing selection!! I was so happy to see the variety of their plants. Great customer service! And the prices were very reasonable.

Welp, I found my go-to nursery in the DMV area! I came to find a pilea peperomioides and of course I left with so much more! They have so much and for every type of plant person, indoor and outdoor, water and ground, collector and hobbyist. Their layout makes sense and is organized well. They had a lot of great sales, including plants, furniture, and pots. They have a lot of services including tree planting. The staff was so nice and friendly. I can't wait to come back!

Just in time for spring!!! I decided to start my herb garden and this nursery is close by my home. When I say I spent 1 her just walking around looking at all the plants and flowers!!! Beauty!! I loved how the staff was very attentive! I was spoken to by several as I walked around! Very informative and knowledgeable! I came home grabbed hubby and went back so he could see what I saw. 1 stop shop for everything, seeds to trees and mulch! I can't wait to start my garden!!

Seriously, what is going on here?? This tree is in bad condition!

I visited earlier this year to buy screening/privacy trees, I wasn't thrilled with the inventory. I decided to hold off until spring, thinking there would be a better selection and the trees would be healthier. During my recent visit there were more trees in stock, but their health hasn't changed since my last visit... many of the trees were just bad. Either they're under watered, not recieving adequate sunlight (because of how closely they're placed together), or both. I've felt this way about some of their plant inventory as well. No one wants to buy trees that haven't been properly cared for, so I ultimately decided to just buy elsewhere.

Beautiful place, everything there is well kept and bright. They have a lot of things for people who are into plants and landscaping. Gloves and such for handling plants, house plants, trees, fountains, pots, and a bunch of other things. I got a gorgeous little bonsai from here, and it looks really healthy. All of the workers are super nice, one guy held my plant for me so I could look around and another gave my parents and booklet for landscaping. So, it's a really nice place and I would definitely recommend.

They were actually extremely nice to me, very accommodating. The younger staff are so so helpful and welcoming too. They had a great variety of plants and tons of sales so that was great. I'll definitely be back

Consistency is key!…read more My fav Hot Dog trucks here today so decided to drop by for my CATALYST fix! Picked up our usual and decided to try a cider beer. I'm not really a fan of beer but the cider beer was ok... Always welcoming and friendly. They usually have a variety of trucks out here in addition to my favorite one... Today's options were Wood Fire Pizza and another Greek/Mediterranean Truck. One day I'll venture through the flower nursery...I'm sure I'm gonna LOVE walking the there...I'm a lover of all flowers so...maybe next time. Check this place out! Happy Yelping!

Amara Aquila (Magma) uses her geothermal abilities to tunnel into the lair where it appears Kitty has been bound to a chair, only for the New Mutants to discover to their horror that Illyana's friend is nothing more than a hologram and they have become entrapped by Emma Frost, the Hellfire Club's White Queen, a powerful telepath. After calling on Amara's earthquake powers to create a distraction, Illyana transports the team to Limbo, the demon realm over which she reigns and out of the reach of Frost. But what if, in an alternate story progression from Chris Claremont and Sal Buscema's New Mutants issues 15 and 16, the team then learns that they could set their own trap for Emma Frost? What if, during Danielle Moonstar's psychic interrogation of a few low-level employees, they discover that the White Queen is a sucker for the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, and that teleporting themselves to Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville, Maryland, could provide all of the disruptions they need to negate the White Queen's most powerful weapon: her focused mind? Frost might find her lavish tastes torn into infinite directions, from the touchy-feely animal books that could lull young toddler mutant recruits to sleep to the Beatrix Potter-like dining sets that could enchant their distrusting yet nostalgic guardians; from the individually-crafted, kaleidoscopically-colored puppets that could entertain homesick adolescents to the visually-radiant and climatologically-resilient mums, whose scented whispers could soothe teenage lasses who seek something to take care of; and, suddenly, Amara's tunneling skills and Illyana's teleporting prowess might completely escape Frost's notice.

Planting in the fall is the right time, so you want to shop now - they are open through the end of October. The staff is incredibly helpful as well - they will help you pick plants that will thrive based on your soil and sun/shade conditions. Need a workhorse for your flower bed? We attempted to remove some ourselves but were quickly overwhelmed by the task. I researched native plant landscapers and came across Swamp Rose Co-op. After reaching out, Jeff, one of the owners, came to do a site visit. He was thorough in his presentation of plans and this February we had them come and do bamboo removal and plant some native trees and shrubs to act as a privacy screen. The Swamp Rose team was amazing! They pulled out over 2 tons of bamboo and roots! They planted native trees and shrubs which are thriving. Our backyard woodland meadow dreams are coming true. We have the team coming back in a few weeks to rip out the standard plants seen in the Silver Spring area (liriope, lilies, weeds) to replace with a native garden and we can't wait. One of my favorite aspects of this company is it is a co-op. The employees can be owners, and those who aren't are still paid a living wage as calculated by the MIT living wage calculator. They do excellent work! It is hard to find a native landscaper but this team is fantastic.
