This is the best place in PG to buy all types of beautiful plants at a low price. They have all of the super cute trendy plants that you see in people's homes like the monstera, snake plant, the Areca Palm, Fiddle Leaf Fig, and much more! The people who work here are very knowledgeable and make instructions for planting and plant care easy with simple instructions. I purchased a Z plant and 2 Hawaiian TI plants and they are gorgeous. I saved at least $10-$20 per plant based on the prices I looked up at other local nurseries. If you are a plant fanatic just go, you will not be disappointed!

I was really impressed by the amount of selection this place has. The prices really weren't bad at all! I was expecting $20-30 for most things that were only $10-18. The older male associate was really informative & genuine & friendly! Im about as new to plants as new can be and I felt welcome & confident in the plant that I chose to take home with me. They were able to tell me the name of the plant as well as the basic care. I do wish that they paid more attention to the price tags because a lot of what I looked at had the price tag missing. But this is so minor, you can always just simply ask how much an item is.

Great selection of native plants. Better than the usual stuff in the 'big' stores. Lots of other interesting plants and bushes.

We attempted to remove some ourselves but were quickly overwhelmed by the task. I researched native plant landscapers and came across Swamp Rose Co-op. After reaching out, Jeff, one of the owners, came to do a site visit. He was thorough in his presentation of plans and this February we had them come and do bamboo removal and plant some native trees and shrubs to act as a privacy screen. The Swamp Rose team was amazing! They pulled out over 2 tons of bamboo and roots! They planted native trees and shrubs which are thriving. Our backyard woodland meadow dreams are coming true. We have the team coming back in a few weeks to rip out the standard plants seen in the Silver Spring area (liriope, lilies, weeds) to replace with a native garden and we can't wait. One of my favorite aspects of this company is it is a co-op. The employees can be owners, and those who aren't are still paid a living wage as calculated by the MIT living wage calculator. They do excellent work! It is hard to find a native landscaper but this team is fantastic.

We spent a lot of time researching where to get them and saw many great reviews for Pryor's Nursery. I reached out with some questions and Wade was wonderful at addressing everything. He is incredibly knowledgeable and is happy to take the time to answer any questions you may have. Their prices were also very reasonable compared to other nurseries we looked at. We ended up purchasing 33, 10-foot tall green giant arborvitae and had Pryor's install them for us. The crew showed up on the day of the install and the trees were lush and many feet larger than we expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. Wade and his crew did a phenomenal job. They were respectful and clean. The installed trees and mulch bed look better than we could have hoped. They even installed a drip line with an automatic timer to help water all the trees! If you are looking for privacy trees, it'd be impossible to beat the quality, price, and professionalism of Pryor's Nursery!

That kind of service is rare. When I arrived, a kind woman answered all my questions and walked me over to find exactly what I was looking for instead of just pointing me in the right direction. After I paid, a young man walked me to my car and loaded my plants neatly with a bag to keep everything clean. What meant the most to me as someone starting their very first garden is that no one made me feel silly for being a beginner. They were patient, encouraging, and genuinely helpful. That kind of welcoming environment makes all the difference when you're just learning. I will absolutely be back. Highly recommend to anyone, especially first time gardeners looking for a place that truly cares about its customers.

The only place to get plants!…read more I have been purchasing Christmas trees from Ed's Plant World for years now. They make it quick, easy, and convenient. They're also incredibly informative and helpful. I recently purchased some herbs from Ed's and their team meets you at the entrance to try to guide and assist you. It's a nice touch. Once you move on to the area where the herbs are, other folks will assist you there as well. Additionally, the selection of herbs is superior and more varied than what you'd find in the nearby home stores. Ed's also carries a ton of flowers - fortunately they are around to answer questions because the selection can be overwhelming. Bottom line: there is no better place in the area for landscape that beats Ed's. Even for Christmas trees or herbs.
