If she didn't have any information on the questions I asked she could have pointed me to the right person. A month later I had tried to return the one tree I had bought and thought that I would be able to exchange or at least get store credit. I followed all the steps that is on the website about returning a product. The person at the Customer service return counter made me feel it was my fault that the tree was not doing well after I planted it. She said and I quote "We can not help every person who comes in here". Isn't that part of running a good business? The day I was there was not a busy day.

After reaching out, Jeff, one of the owners, came to do a site visit. He was thorough in his presentation of plans and this February we had them come and do bamboo removal and plant some native trees and shrubs to act as a privacy screen. The Swamp Rose team was amazing! They pulled out over 2 tons of bamboo and roots! They planted native trees and shrubs which are thriving. Our backyard woodland meadow dreams are coming true. We have the team coming back in a few weeks to rip out the standard plants seen in the Silver Spring area (liriope, lilies, weeds) to replace with a native garden and we can't wait. One of my favorite aspects of this company is it is a co-op. The employees can be owners, and those who aren't are still paid a living wage as calculated by the MIT living wage calculator. They do excellent work! It is hard to find a native landscaper but this team is fantastic.

What meant the most to me as someone starting their very first garden is that no one made me feel silly for being a beginner. They were patient, encouraging, and genuinely helpful. That kind of welcoming environment makes all the difference when you're just learning. I will absolutely be back. They're also incredibly informative and helpful. I recently purchased some herbs from Ed's and their team meets you at the entrance to try to guide and assist you. It's a nice touch. Once you move on to the area where the herbs are, other folks will assist you there as well. Additionally, the selection of herbs is superior and more varied than what you'd find in the nearby home stores. Ed's also carries a ton of flowers - fortunately they are around to answer questions because the selection can be overwhelming. Bottom line: there is no better place in the area for landscape that beats Ed's. Even for Christmas trees or herbs.

But, their prices are rather high and them working around replacing or refunding at first communication and then blaming me for missing the warranty is unacceptable.
