My daughter sent me flowers for my birthday. They were delivered on July 9th. They were beautiful, except the only 3 Pink Roses that were in the bouquet were already fully opened. I would have called them, but I thought they would last. Totally mistaken, they started to drop their petals by the 3rd night. By the fifth day the Daylilies are dead. Pretty quick in my opinion. Also just a note that the flowers were only arranged to be viewed from the front. Absolutely no flowers on the other side. Bad arrangement. Very disappointing that these flowers did not even last for seven days. I'll advise my daughter and anyone else interested to purchase your flowers from the supermarket. I used the Yelp app and I found this lovely floral shop with a sweet spirited florist who was very charming, patient, kind & knowledgeable. Her name was Carmena. She was a delight, truly a godsend because I was in need and she was there to fulfill said need & do so in a timely manner. She gave of her time, she answered my questions and gave advise at my request. Because of my barrage of questions, she told me to mention her name in the comment section of the order & she'd be sure to get the arrangement together as specifically as I requested. I contacted The Pink Orchid before business hours and to my surprise Carmina answered immediately. She was courteous and patient, completely answering all my questions. She inquired which bouquet I wanted to purchase to ensure she had the flowers to fulfill the order. She instructed me to place to order online and she would process it as soon as she receives it. I wanted to shop local to gift a friend in the area a pot of orchids. I selected this florist based on everyone else's wonderful detailed reviews on Yelp. They are all warranted. Carmina from The Pink Orchid picked up the phone, and helped me select the perfect colour orchid (white with a burst of yellow in the middle) when I told her that our recipient writes stories under the title "Manufacturing Sunshine". She helped me navigate all the payments etc as I was calling in from Canada. Great, fast customer experience. I ordered an arrangement for a family member's funeral, and when I saw what was sent I was absolutely embarrassed. The arrangement looked like it was just a few straggling flowers, they were white (not pink), and I don't even think they could have been azaleas.  I couldn't stop looking at them at the viewing. They were definitely not worth $84.95. I could have picked something like that up at Giant for $15.99.  The measurements was not even close to what is on the website.  Honestly, this is the first time I have ordered there and chose it because I want to support small business, but I am completely embarrassed by this arrangement. read more

The flowers for this shop are always fresh and very pretty. They do not use alot of cheap fillers which I like. I am taking off 1 star because if I buy am arrangement for $45 - The final bill is almost $100 because they add so much for "processing and delivery". One of my dearest friends husband past and I needed a floral arrangement done. I'm extremely particular about the type of arrangements I send. My signature flower is the Orchid, they put a beautiful arrangement made up of Orchids, Lilly's and other beautiful flowers with a touch of green to add depth. These folks did such an incredible job at creating a beautiful spray for his service. Not only that they were almost an hour away from the place where the service was being held and they had to transport the flowers during a really bad winter storm. So they really went above and beyond in achieving what I thought was going to be the impossible. I can't thank sweet Carmina enough for helping with this order. I ordered some flowers from The Pink Orchid for a friend who recently became a Mom and gave birth to a baby boy. She loves purple, so I looked for the most purple arrangement on the site. My friend loved them! Two of the orchids on the front were replaced with a different pair without notice, but they actually look way better than what was on the site. Just know that you may not get a notification for substitutions. Only thing I would note for improvement is having delivery staff place them on the doorstep in a way where it's not directly in front of the door so that people coming out of the house accidentally swing the door open and destroy it. I ordered the premium/large daisy bouquet. The picture shows a huge bouquet of 30-40 flowers. The one delivered had about 10 flowers - it was tiny. I ordered chocolates, but they never delivered. I emailed customer service, but they never responded. $92 is a lot to pay for 10 daisies. Will not order from them again. read more

The first lady that I spoke with said that they were closed for the day but she will transfer me to the owner. I will never order from this place ever again. I place my order a week or so before Valentine's Day expecting them to get there at a reasonable time. My main Issue was my order had not been delivered by almost 7:00pm I called numerous times before to get some information and no one answered. Understandably it was Valentine's Day I assume they were pretty busy. When I finally got someone around 630 they told me my order had been delivered and they had a sign ticket for it. When I ask her to confirm who signed for the order the story changed to it must be in route and they have until 8 PM to deliver. After trying to explain to the lady my displeasure with the service because no one called to inform me that my order would be as late as I had to continually correct her that I'm not a sir and not a ma'am. She proceeded to call me ma'am countless of times. Even after verbally explain to her I was sick my voice is already light as it is but please don't call me ma'am the person continually did so when I asked to speak to a manager she said she was it. I'm all for giving people a chance but I have to be honest and say this is the worst customer service I've ever had in my entire life. More than just my flowers not being delivered till Valentine's Day was basically over the fact that I kept being referred to in a gender that was not my own was extremely irritating and it goes to show that this company does not care for his customers or even have good listening skills I will never again order from here and I will also let everyone who I can know not to order from here. Nothing was done to not only remedy my issue but not even an apology for calling me out of my name. Extremely upset and frustrated customer. I was very pleased with the corsage arrangement that I purchased from The Pink Orchid. I was pressed for time and needed a corsage for my son's prom, which was 2 days away.
