I was looking for a local florist that could handle a semi-specific request for my anniversary. I was looking for some very specific flowers as we have cats, and I know a number of flowers can be toxic to our fur family. I spoke with Lanae, and she was absolutely fantastic... friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. She listened to what I was looking for, and then gave me a great alternative I hadn't thought of - and she was able to deliver in a convenient time frame. As soon as my wife got home, we started talking... once she saw the flowers, her jaw dropped and she said "oh my god, those are so beautiful" and quickly went to them to get all the sniffs and smells... Words can not describe the amazing experiences that my family and I had with this establishment. My parents came in to town the day before my graduation and had trouble finding me flowers. Almost every store was either sold out or what they had in stock was not promising. My aunt saw this florist in Bowie Town Center and they were headed back to the hotel. So we decided to stop by. Unfortunately they were closed. However my mom decided to still knock on the door and by my surprised. They opened their shops for us. The owners asked me my favorite color and made me the prettiest arrangement. Literally brought me to tears. These ladies exemplified amazing customers service and really made my graduation weekend. I was very disappointed in this "premium" bouquet. There are no special flowers included. Not even roses, hydrangea, calla lily.. Instead, there were only saisies, snap dragons, anemone... very basic inexpensive flowers. the type you might find at the grocery store. This is not a $100 bouquet. (And the bow was an extra $3. just a little strip of ribbon. That's the bow. I called the florist to complain and was, frankly, gas-lit. She told me that these were premium flowers. And the reason there were no roses was that this was a birthday bouquet. (??). And that if I wanted a specific type of flower I should have called and requested this. When I suggested that there was an assumption that came with the word premium, she acted like I didn't understand how florists work. It was a very unpleasant experience. read more

This is not the florist to use!!!! She is not reliable or professional. I had a client who used her and she didn't even come close to what was requested of her. She was several hours late in coming to set up and did an awful job of doing so. She's a lot of mouth with no follow through!!! She will take your money and you will not get what you paid to receive. You will not receive any on-going communication...as she will promise...just a bunch of excuses. The quality of her work and products are subpar at best!!! DON'T USE HER AS YOUR FLORIST...She and her business are truly a ZERO!!!!! My client was extremely disappointed with her services so much so that she was bought to tears on what should have been an exciting day!!! read more

I just had a very disappointing experience with this florist. I was looking for a local florist to deliver flowers to my wife on her first day at a new job and made an online order on Monday Feb 13 at 7:56am for delivery on Monday Feb 13. I knew Feb 14 was a busy time for florists so I figured Monday might be ahead of the rush. I was contacted by the florist (text) on Monday afternoon around 4pm and told the flowers were to be delivered by 6pm that evening. That did not happen. I contacted the florist on Tue morning Feb 14 (text). The owner called me and after some discussion and apology from the owner, I was told (by text from the owner) the flowers would be personally delivered by her (the owner) on Tue morning. My wife was even told in a phone conversation they would be delivered by 10:30am and that they would likely add some things like chocolates. Neither of these happened. My wife notified me at 2:00pm that she still had not received her flowers. I contacted (text) the florist (owner again) who stated they were swamped and she was going to contact the driver to check the status. My wife notified me at 4:25 that the flowers finally arrived. She did say the flowers were beautiful which is some solace given the events that transpired. Soooo....I was told 2 things (by text) that didn't happen and one other promise that did not happen 1. They would deliver on Monday by 6...the original requested delivery date 2. The owner was going to personally deliver the flowers In addition, my wife was told they would deliver by 10:30 on Feb 14...that did not happen. I share this as information. I understand things happen. I also know that more transparent and accurate information would have at least prepared me for what was going on OR to make another choice...like use another florist. All I expected was transparency and accurate information. As has often been said...you never get a second chance to make a first impression...That said, I am very disappointed with how this was handled and will likely not use this florist again. read more

I was looking for a florist that could arrange and deliver an arrangement for a local funeral home. I was shocked that so many other florists in the Crofton/Gambrills area would either not answer their phone or not respond at all to my inquiries when I was prompted to leave a voice message. Then, thank goodness, I called Oopsie Daisies and was immediately greeted by a kind and caring person: Lanae! She put me at ease with her friendliness and professionalism. She listened to me, and the arrangement was beautiful! Needless to say, I will ALWAYS contact this florist for all of my needs! I'd give them a ZERO if possible. I spent $138 for flowers for my mom for Mother's Day and they were NEVER delivered. There was NO phone call, text or e-mail indicating a delay or problem. I got a confirmation e-mail with all of the correct info and confirmation of payment from PayPal. I've tried to call them FIVE TIMES so far today, and not only do they not answer, but their voice-mail box is full. I highly recommend that you avoid this business completely!!! read more

I wanted to love and support this florist so bad. If you like professionalism and good customer service, don't go here. I called on Tuesday to order a corsage for my son's date for prom. It sounded like whoever answered the phone was in the car (no biggie) and she ultimately told me to call back after 2:30 because they were doing inventory or something like that and would know at that time if she could do the corsage. Ok fine. I had my son call back but it was a little after 5:00. Same woman answered and said they closed at 5:00 but she asked when he needed it and he told her on 5/19. She said ok if you call me back tomorrow I will do it for you for the 19th but I'm still working on this week's orders - but I will do it for you but then I'll have to cut off all other orders. We said great. Called her back this morning and she told me again to call back after 2:30 b/c she was busy. I reminded her that she has asked us to call back twice already and we just want to make sure we can get this done. She started speaking over me rambling about being busy with current orders. Then she said she couldn't hear me. Then asked my son's name and when I told her she said that name doesn't sound familiar. I said well he never gave you his name and neither did I b/c you kept telling us to call back. She asked me to hold for a moment and she came back and said go ahead the floor is yours. So I repeated what I said. She then got really nasty and said there's no reason to be like you are and if you want to take your business someplace else, you can but if not, you need to call back after 2:30 like I said. I hung up on her. There is no way I'd ever give my money to any business who feels entitled to speak to potential customers in this way. Just b/c she's busy for prom season doesn't mean she will always be busy. She really needs to reassess her customer service skills. She was completely unprofessional from start to finish. read more

If you love lies, disappointments, postponements, late deliveries, and rudeness, then you won't mine Oopsie Daisies. But we all deserve better than that. I wish I could give her a ZERO. The florist starts out so delightful promising to handle and deliver perfection. She took the job of decorating for my daughter's May 7, 2023 wedding and never came close to the vision I had requested, even though she was constantly telling me she understood. She was so late getting there that some of the guest had already arrived. No remorse, no apology, not even a call to say sorry for the cheap job she did. The wedding was formal and this woman put Yucca plants on the tables with burlap around the pot. Some of the corsages' must have been left over from prom because they did not match, and I never asked for wrist corsages. There were so few flowers on the arch and around the room you couId barely see them. The flowers were the cheapest money could buy. I was basically over charged, and they delivered 20% of what was expected. She was always too busy for conversations regarding progress. Her specialty was having excuses as to why she could not meet with me to show me what she had done so far. She claimed she only had time for texting. Told me I was keeping her from working and when I asked for a sketch of how she would do everything, she told me I was tasking. I asked for pictures of previous events, but she would not share. "Just trust me", she said. At one point she accused me of being the type of person that could never be satisfied. I told her "I could not be satisfied or dissatisfied because she has never shown me anything. I asked her numerous times but she is slick fast-talking saleslady. Four days before the wedding she asked for more money, two days before the wedding she asked if I wanted her to still do the job. It sounded like I was in serious trouble at that point. I should have fired her, but the wedding was in a couple of days. I was hopeful she would do right by me. Well, she didn't. I trusted the wrong florist for my daughter's special day. If you feel compelled to use her, get a contract and write out every single thing you want. Then make her sign it. But why bother, deal with someone that is professional with great reviews. read more
