She was extremely accommodating and made absolutely perfect arrangements (see photos). Our guests are still raving about the flowers two months later! We had a morning ceremony and a brunch reception, so Maria prepared the boutonnieres for pickup the afternoon before and went to the reception venue the morning of the wedding to decorate the cake and place the arrangements. I am simply stunned by her generosity and supportive spirit throughout the process. Truly delightful. And, for those of you wondering, her pricing is extremely reasonable (no upcharge for saying "wedding!"). I would have paid more and expected less from anyone else. Maria absolutely exceeded our best hopes, and I am so grateful that she was a part of our special day!

I went ahead and reached out to them to provide flowers for my mom's 60th birthday. I had organized a small dinner in a private room at the Tabard Inn in Dupont. Once I emailed I heard back almost immediately. Maria's attention to detail was very impressive. I sent her photos of the space and she got back to me with arrangement ideas within my price range. Communicating with Maria was super easy as she always was quick in her responses. She also delivered my flowers earlier that day and let me know where they were etc. I would definitely use Darling & Daughters again- and will definitely recommend them!

The arrangement was a little less stated than I saw online and the roses deteriorated within two/three days. Everything else lived ~8 days but for the roses to die so soon -- my grocery store flowers last longer than that. I wouldn't recommend based on this unless you're super local and can go back in for them to address it. Yes I could have filed a complaint and had something else done -- but it just ruined the grandeur of her 50th birthday to have a smaller arrangement and flowers die so soon. For instance, an arrangement I ordered was supposed to have no apples and the strawberries to be dipped in chocolate. Instead, there were apples dipped in chocolate and bare strawberries. Thankfully, the recipient isn't allergic to any of the fruit or that'd be a huge problem. The low score is specifically to the customer service. The people seem nice and personable, but the place is poorly managed. Every time I order something from here and select a pick up time, the order is NEVER ready when I arrive. In fact, it usually takes at least fifteen minutes for me to get it after pick up time. (One time I was even purposely late by twenty minutes and it still took an extra fifteen minutes). This seems to mean they don't start making the bouquet until you are physically at the location. I think I will choose Waldorf from now on even if this location is a tad closer.

I am absolutely shocked with the value of flowers I recieved from the DELUXE bouquet I ordered for $82.00. The "substitution policy" is complete bullshit, given they dont even attempt to make the flowers look like what you ordered. These flowers do not look like I spent $82 on them at all- this is at most a grocery store arrangement placed in a vase. I ordered a DELUXE ARRANGEMENT and what I recieved doesnt even have SIX "replacement" roses in it, AT LEAST. It has FOUR. And zero star gypsophila (baby's breath)- which I find hard to believe they didnt have available, given that even the local supermarket has them sold by the bushel. I looked up other reviews and this seems to be a pattern, delivering subpar quality and offering little to no refunds. Im so irate & not in the mood to argue with anyone over this $13 bouquet of flowers that I was scammed into paying $82 for. I will be leaving a negative review across alll platforms and disputing this charge. Oh! They also remove all negative reviews (flowershopping.com) so you think you're actually getting quality when you're not!
