It was refreshing to receive service at this level, and I am definitely going to return and recommend them to others. The flowers were fresh, fragrant and beautiful. The space was dirty, dusty, and unorganized. Trash and boxes were blocking the counter where I was told to stand to place my order. The store is closed off due to Covid-19. 2. The owner is snarky, sarcastic, and rude. Saying rude things then apologizing. The first time she said something slick she apologized and said that was just her personality. Then I got a 2nd dose of her being an a-hole when I called to make sure the flowers had been delivered. She said something smart again. 3.They are overpriced and do not carry more expensive/elegant flower options, as shown on the website like orchids. She said they were going to fill the order with something comparable to the orchids, but she never mentioned which flowers she intended on using. 4. Courier service to DC is $16 and they did not even have the decency to notified me to let me know the order had been delivered. I had to call them and that is when she made another nasty and sarcastic remark. I cannot tell folks how to spend their money, but me personally I will never use this florist again.

I regret doing business with 73 Daisies Florist. On 2/11, I ordered the "Deluxe Gorgeous Best…read moreSeller Premium Designer's Choice" arrangement, a mylar balloon, and a small teddy bear via PayPal. However, the emailed receipt listed a different arrangement--"Valentine's Designer's Choice In A Vase" and a different price. On top of that, they "assumed" I wanted a Valentine's Day balloon just because the holiday was the next day. I believe that due to the holiday, custom arrangements were not being offered, only designers' choice. This is for YOU, the owner: When I tried to address my concerns, you continuously interrupted me, forcing me to shout, "Are you going to let me finish speaking?!" And before you "try" to make this appear that "the customer was already irate", let me be clear that I was very calm at the onset of my call. Instead of taking accountability, you made several excuses and only offered a pathetic $8 refund for the balloon. When I pointed out that the flower arrangement looked off-kilter and skimpy for the price, you dismissed my concerns, saying, "It's the designer's choice." I also tipped the florist, making this even more frustrating. I want my tip back too! You need to work on your communication skills and actually making things right with customers instead of talking over them and offering weak refunds. I am not new to ordering flowers. The $100+ price I paid for your flowers did not align with my expectations. I do NOT recommend this florist.

I was lucky to meet with Rick the owner and he dedicated an hour to our meeting which I appreciated. Looking back though I feel like I got juiced for what I ordered...all in season flowers and 4 mains centerpieces of tightly packed carnations. I hit a snafu with my venue which caused me to delay my "request" by a couple of days so Rick said" woops sorry now we have to charge you an extra $200 for a rush fee"....a rush fee for carnations? tulips? and roses???? Honestly, if you are lucky to have more time than I do, I would recommend doing more comparison. In retrospect I should have been more prepared for the premium. I would have given them a additional star if I didnt feel so juiced like when I explained to him that my HEAD table should have a more substantial centerpiece but instead I got small little vases with rose, tulip, and gerber daisy buds. Looked pretty---but not for the price. The head table was something I had specified to be special and was not delivered. One plus though is they created a very nice looking chuppah. I'm trying to be fair in this review....so I'll sum it by saying very pretty BUT overpriced. Wish I could post pictures so you could see what I got for the price. And I would tell them to chill back on such ridicuolous "rush fee" that other florists wouldnt impose. On that alone, I would never go back to them to plan my corporate or social events.
