Everything was sent on time and with correct color scheme and balloon. I was not impressed with the actual arrangement though. I've done 1-800-flowers for the same price to other states that were way more impressive. While I get choice of flower and even artistry factors in, there was no wow factor and it just didn't look full for $100 just on the flowers, no tax. I did mention it to them via email and they felt this was indicative of $100 bouquet and added a $20 credit to my account. I'll make a different decision next time so that credit won't be used.

After receiving my order for bereavement flowers from 800 Flowers (skip them too!), she decided to completely ignore what was requested and throw whatever she had laying around into the vase. My friend sent me a photo of the arrangement not knowing that it looked nothing like what was ordered and of course I didn't tell her that. Instead, I contacted 800 Flowers and they agreed to have my order redone by another florist and redelivered the following day. Nightmare over right? Wrong! The following morning this person CALLED MY FRIEND REPEATEDLY threatening to repossess the subpar arrangement because 800 Flowers cancelled my original order. She left multiple messages on my friend's phone and only after I threatened to contact the police for harassment did she reverse course and say she would "drop it." Reading that this person has victimized multiple customers this way is the definition of insanity. God forbid she actually become a better florist! To sum it all up, if you need flowers and this is the only florist open in town, save yourself the headache and make a beeline to the nearest Safeway for whatever they've got.

Another staff member assisted me; I provided detailed instructions and photos, and we even used a mock box to visualize where the urn would be placed. Ms. Ruby returned about 30 minutes later without an apology, attended to customers who arrived after me, and eventually got to me. We discussed the arrangement, I showed her the picture, paid, and left. On the day of the service, I panicked because my flowers had not arrived. When I saw the arrangement, I was horrified. The shabby display couldn't accommodate the urn, and it was filled with carnations and just a dozen roses--something I could have bought at Safeway. Overwhelmed and disgusted, I had to place the urn down and put a large plant behind it. I called immediately after the service and was told there were no refunds. I couldn't use the arrangement, and it was ugly. Ms. Ruby effectively stole $186 from me during one of my lowest moments and then hung up on me. I don't argue with elderly folks, but God does not like ugly. Do not spend your money with these people.
