Amazing experience with Mayorga! I hired Walter and his crew to fix up the area around our fig trees and it turned out even better than I could have imagined. Walter was responsive, came out on a few occasions to measure and walk through the design ideas, and went above and beyond mulching and weeding. Would hire them again in a heartbeat! read more

I have been using this company for the last 5 years and I can honestly say that they do a great job. Thanks Walter and crew!!

Great quality work at reasonable price! Free quote was given on same day with quick turn around!

Walter offered excellent service on multiple occasions. He took care of my original request and then was able to assist me with another task. He and his team have been very helpful and professional! read more

Quick response. Quality service. Best price around. Did more than I expected. read more

This is the absolute best landscaping service experience I've ever had. After placing a request on Facebook, the owner reached out and was here within 30 minutes to offer an in person quote. Wow! They were able to come out within 48 hours to complete the service request. However, I needed to push the service out a week, which was easy! They ended up coming a full day early to accomplish tree trimming, pulling a bush, and getting rid of a bunch of weeds in our yard. The team was fast, friendly, and efficient. I've included a before and after to share their work. We have already bragged about the amazing value and quality of service to our neighbors. We look forward to using this company again. Especially given the pricing was so great for the service and friendly staff! read more

Walter was the first to respond to my inquiry and he came over right away to check out the project and give me an estimate. He was very professional and he quoted a fair price for the work. His crew arrived on the day promised and completed the job as he described it. They tidied up the area and were professional start to finish. I'll call Walter of Mayorga Landscaping next time I need landscaping work, and I recommend him with confidence for any job he is willing to do. read more

Great to work with. Prompt, efficient, at a fair price. Will definitely use again and refer to others.

Great communication and quality of work. Was on time and completed the job. Made sure we were satisfied with all the work before leaving.

We had our landscaping done recently and though they were running behind for the day they still got to us and did an amazing job! We're very happy with the results and will be using them again! I highly recommend! read more

Walter and his crew did a terrific job on our lawn. I contacted them for a quote and they were literally at our home mowing our lawn about an hour and a half later. Communication was quick and easy and we are very pleased with the work they did. I would recommend their services to others! read more

I called the number listed and got an actual person on my first try! Walter offered to come out that afternoon to look at the job and provide an estimate. My yard is large and has multiple garden areas, all of which needed to be cleaned out tilled and mulched. Walter and his team did a great job for a very fair price. I am thrilled with their work! Everyone was on time and professional. Walter quoted a great price for mowing and weed eating for this summer. My neighbor was so impressed, with my yard's transformation, that she is contracting with Walter to do an even bigger project in her yard. read more

Never responded to my request. Yelp wants me to add more to this review, but there isn't anything to say beyond the fact that this business never responded. read more

I reached out to get a quote for my property. I spoke to Walter who set up a date and time. No one showed up or called and when I reached out to them I was told they don't "really" service my area. That could have been communicated as soon as I provided my address. read more

I called on Wednesday, I got an estimate Wednesday and Thursday my new lawn was installed in approximately 2.5hrs. They picked up and purchased the supplies and got right to work on my very rocky and weedy front yard. The first place I called stated they wouldn't be able to get someone out for the estimate for 3 days - which wasn't a problem but that work wouldn't commence for 2 weeks out from that. I made the appointment but decided to check around which is when I came upon Mayorga on here. They only had a couple of reviews but they were high in rating so I gave them a shot. I called, and I think it was the owner, picked up - he was but said he would be by SAME DAY to get me an estimate and take measurements. I called the other place and cancelled my appointment. Totally didn't expect such a quick response and turnaround. He came by and went over the process, took measurements and provided a quote, which nearly caused me to faint it as it was WAAYY below what I was expecting. He called me the next morning to confirm that home depot had fresh sod, mulch & that he'd be by in 20 minutes to do the job, if that was ok with me. Again, I nearly fainted ... in less than 2.5 hours they were done. My neighbors had sod put down on Monday, mine was done Thursday (today) and he came over to speak with Mayorga regarding the difference in quality. Where he was originally happy with his installation, seeing the job Mayorga did with mine, made him realize it wasn't such a good job after all. I am THOROUGHLY pleased with their speedy, affordable & outstanding work - if you're considering landscaping services please look no further than this company. They also do construction services and design - I will be contacting them for my patio project in another month! read more

Problems with English comprehension, returning calls, and/or showing up. He was friendly enough, but the quote given was a complete waste of time as the estimator's poor English comprehension made him misunderstand what we had agreed to. Earlier when I had asked him for everything in writing he said not to worry because he had "everything in his head." A couple days before they were to come out I discovered that half the work agreed to had not been included in the quote. Evidently it wasn't "all in his head." I quickly discovered that it took 2-3 days for them to reply to a text. Phone call? Forget about it. This is pretty much par for the course with others like him in my experience. I'll keep looking. Update as of 5/6. I got the work done by PTG Landscape. The work was done perfectly, was on paper (an actual contract) and done for a fair price. You get an English speaker with them too. I just found my landscape contractor for future work. PTG Landscape is found on Yelp as well. read more

Walter and his team are awesome!!!! If you are looking for some curb appeal at a reasonable price, they are the ones to call. When I contacted him through Yelp, he was quick to respond and schedule an appointment via Text (which I prefer). We met and I explained and then showed him what I was looking for and they he showed me some options that he could provide. He didn't over-promise, he gave my home the curb appeal I asked for without breaking the bank - EXCELLENT SERVICE! The day we scheduled the work to be done called for rain but he showed up with his team and worked through the rain!!!!!! Professional with a strong work ethic, and honest - I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to add some curb appeal to their home. *****Thank you so much Walter & crew!!!! read more

Mayorga Landscaping - Curb appeal! Love it - Landscaping Near Me

I recently moved to the area and needed someone for a yard clean up, garden beds defined and mulched, and yard seeded and fertilized. Walter was very responsive, and reasonable with quote. His team got the job done and looks great! I then asked if he could replace sections of fencing, of which he once again did a great job with. I appreciate that he is honest, works with a budget, is fast and shows up when scheduled. I plan to continue with his services for lawn service as well. read more

They did an amazing job! The whole crew were very polite and respectful. The work was very neat. They went above and beyond what we discussed. I had a bag of yard waste that was sitting on my patio they took it away for me. The project was completed on the agreed price. I would recommend them again. I would use them again for a landscaping project. My yard is too small for weekly mowing service or I would use them it. read more

No shows for a quote, no communication either. If you can't show up when you say you will, you don't deserve to be hired.

I contacted them about doing my lawn and they agreed to come out. However, the person was late and then the person who supposed to have come didn't. So they sent an uncle out to get me a quote, but never sent me the quote. Then today o see them across the street at my neighbors house doing work? Weird! Update: I went and asked them about why they didn't come and they apologized. And gave me a quote for the work to be done. I will give another review after it's done! read more

I needed a stump ground down we'll below grade - Mayorga quoted lowest and was here same day. Excellent work, quick, professional. Would use again and highly recommend! read more

I initially looked on yelp in search of a landscaping company when I came across Mayorga. Walter the owner responded to my initial inquiry of a quote for my yard. He actually came to my house the same day within the hour to give me an accurate quote. I told him that I would like the weeds pulled up fresh mulch and a few flowers planted. He asked when would I like the project to start and I told him that I would be going out of town the following week so within the next few days if possible. He unfortunately had a lot of clients that he was currently working with and reached out to his uncle Tomos that does work for him from time to time to come out to do the work. Walter gave me a reasonable quote to do the work. The next morning at 8 AM his uncle came to start the work and came back after the rain to finish at noon. The customer service was excellent and the quality of the work was just as good. My yard has come back to life and no longer looks abandoned on the outside anymore. Thank you for your great service. Highly recommend read more

I waited a bit to post this review as I wanted to show the transition over time, but Mayorga Landscaping was great. I had a pretty big landscaping project for them and they delivered efficiently and reasonably priced. This project was done last summer 2021. I wanted my back cleared of some trees and lots of brush as well as landscape and mulch the front. I wish I had some more 'before' pictures, but let's just say it was just plain sad. The back had overgrown bushes, dead fallen trees, overgrown trees, and hollies that I wanted gone. The front also had overgrown bushes that I wanted dug up, but I wanted to preserve some perennial flowers, which they gladly did. I also wanted a side garden so they also dug up a portion for me. For the back they cleared all what I asked, cut down and pruned some trees, brought in dirt to level the land as best as they could and laid down seed. After a few months the grass came in beautifully and I can gladly say I now have a decent backyard. So hopefully as you can see from the pics, how well the project went. The first pic is what I had kept of the before shots in the back. Then shown is the back when it was cleared and leveled. The front and last pic is just from today to show how well it has been kept up. So happy with their service and will be using them again! read more

Reached out for a bid last week for grading/sloping around my entire townhouse to avoid sitting water as well as removing a hill garden that contained large bricks. Walter came out the next day and gave a very reasonable quote. Decided to use Walter and Mayorga Landscaping and he was able to come out 2 days later and complete the job (today). What I thought might be an all day job turned out to only take 3 hours and the result was way better than what I could have imagined. I will 100% use Mayorga Landscaping for any future landscaping and already started planning with Walter a new garden design for my backyard. Very friendly and knowledgeable. read more
