This is the absolute best landscaping service experience I've ever had. After placing a request on Facebook, the owner reached out and was here within 30 minutes to offer an in person quote. Wow! They were able to come out within 48 hours to complete the service request. However, I needed to push the service out a week, which was easy! They ended up coming a full day early to accomplish tree trimming, pulling a bush, and getting rid of a bunch of weeds in our yard. The team was fast, friendly, and efficient. I called on Wednesday, I got an estimate Wednesday and Thursday my new lawn was installed in approximately 2.5hrs. They picked up and purchased the supplies and got right to work on my very rocky and weedy front yard. The first place I called stated they wouldn't be able to get someone out for the estimate for 3 days - which wasn't a problem but that work wouldn't commence for 2 weeks out from that. I made the appointment but decided to check around which is when I came upon Mayorga on here. They only had a couple of reviews but they were high in rating so I gave them a shot. I called, and I think it was the owner, picked up - he was but said he would be by SAME DAY to get me an estimate and take measurements. I called the other place and cancelled my appointment. Totally didn't expect such a quick response and turnaround. He came by and went over the process, took measurements and provided a quote, which nearly caused me to faint it as it was WAAYY below what I was expecting. He called me the next morning to confirm that home depot had fresh sod, mulch & that he'd be by in 20 minutes to do the job, if that was ok with me. Again, I nearly fainted ... in less than 2.5 hours they were done. My neighbors had sod put down on Monday, mine was done Thursday (today) and he came over to speak with Mayorga regarding the difference in quality. Where he was originally happy with his installation, seeing the job Mayorga did with mine, made him realize it wasn't such a good job after all. I am THOROUGHLY pleased with their speedy, affordable & outstanding work - if you're considering landscaping services please look no further than this company. Problems with English comprehension, returning calls, and/or showing up. He was friendly enough, but the quote given was a complete waste of time as the estimator's poor English comprehension made him misunderstand what we had agreed to. Earlier when I had asked him for everything in writing he said not to worry because he had "everything in his head." A couple days before they were to come out I discovered that half the work agreed to had not been included in the quote. Evidently it wasn't "all in his head." I quickly discovered that it took 2-3 days for them to reply to a text. Phone call? Forget about it. This is pretty much par for the course with others like him in my experience. I'll keep looking. Update as of 5/6. I got the work done by PTG Landscape. The work was done perfectly, was on paper (an actual contract) and done for a fair price. You get an English speaker with them too. I just found my landscape contractor for future work. PTG Landscape is found on Yelp as well. read more

I initially looked on yelp in search of a landscaping company when I came across Mayorga. Walter the owner responded to my initial inquiry of a quote for my yard. He actually came to my house the same day within the hour to give me an accurate quote. I told him that I would like the weeds pulled up fresh mulch and a few flowers planted. He asked when would I like the project to start and I told him that I would be going out of town the following week so within the next few days if possible. He unfortunately had a lot of clients that he was currently working with and reached out to his uncle Tomos that does work for him from time to time to come out to do the work. Walter gave me a reasonable quote to do the work. The next morning at 8 AM his uncle came to start the work and came back after the rain to finish at noon. The customer service was excellent and the quality of the work was just as good. My yard has come back to life and no longer looks abandoned on the outside anymore. Thank you for your great service. I waited a bit to post this review as I wanted to show the transition over time, but Mayorga Landscaping was great. I had a pretty big landscaping project for them and they delivered efficiently and reasonably priced. This project was done last summer 2021. I wanted my back cleared of some trees and lots of brush as well as landscape and mulch the front. I wish I had some more 'before' pictures, but let's just say it was just plain sad. The back had overgrown bushes, dead fallen trees, overgrown trees, and hollies that I wanted gone. The front also had overgrown bushes that I wanted dug up, but I wanted to preserve some perennial flowers, which they gladly did. I also wanted a side garden so they also dug up a portion for me. For the back they cleared all what I asked, cut down and pruned some trees, brought in dirt to level the land as best as they could and laid down seed. After a few months the grass came in beautifully and I can gladly say I now have a decent backyard. So hopefully as you can see from the pics, how well the project went. The first pic is what I had kept of the before shots in the back. Then shown is the back when it was cleared and leveled. The front and last pic is just from today to show how well it has been kept up. So happy with their service and will be using them again! read more

Reached out for a bid last week for grading/sloping around my entire townhouse to avoid sitting water as well as removing a hill garden that contained large bricks.
