The crew showed up 15 minutes early today, and the estimator and I talked with the crew leader about specifics of the job which entailed trimming up, cleaning out unwanted growth and limbs in two 115+ year old willow oaks, and trimming up three 20' Japanese maple trees. Did the usual --asked our neighbors, compared ratings on Yelp-- and ended up with three wildly different quotes. The Arborist with Arundel Tree came across as the most genuine, told us what needed to be done and what could wait. On top of that, their pricing seemed very competitive. Day of the job, the team arrived early with shiny new equipment, did a thorough pre-job confirmation and got to work. After the post-job walk-around, they mulched every branch and left the yard better than they found it. Highly recommended start to finish. My only gripe is the 3% markup on credit card payment... (At least let me earn those points!)

Most recently, at a house we just bought in Smithsburg MD, we needed a badly damaged large Norway Maple removed that towered over our house and garage; it had suffered fire damage years ago and was recently struck by lightning.
