Today is was to remove a huge tree that was taken down by storm. We have had our eyes on the tree for years. It hung dangerously over the expressway and over the utility wires. BGE and MD State Highway refused to address the concern. Well last month Mother Nature took control and took the tree down along with all the wires and broached the I-83 retaining wall. The A-AAA crew that removed the tree and debris was on time and courteous as usual. All that was contacted was completed to our satisfaction. We still have several large trees in our yard. The plumbing company left a mess, damaging our tree, crushing bushes, and leaving big pile of dirt in the yard. We called Ridley's. They came out promptly for an estimate, and once we said yes, they came out promptly and did an amazing job. They did so well that our neighbor was watching them work and hired them on the spot to do some grading in his yard. For the grass, they offered us the option of doing sod or seed. We went with the seed, so the (after) picture just shows the straw, but we anticipate having a beautiful lawn next summer. They were highly professional, worked hard, and simply got the job done as it should be done. We talked to another company that seemed cheaper, but they didn't give me the confidence that Donta gave me, and now that the job is done, I can say that confidence was well placed.
