We had a large tree fall onto our property around 10:15 PM the other night, destroying our fence, damaging our deck, and even causing some minor damage to our house. Needless to say, it was a stressful situation. My wife and I called Cleartree at around 7:00 AM the next morning, and the owner came out that day to look at the damage. He immediately understood the urgency of the situation. After a brief chat with Mike, we decided to cut the tree into sections and move it back into the wooded area owned by the town behind our yard. He worked quickly to get a crew to us that same day. By 3:00 PM, Chris and Ray had arrived, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better team. Chris and Ray were courteous, professional, careful, communicative, and incredibly efficient. They took the time to explain what they were doing, worked safely around the damaged areas, and had the massive tree removed in about 45 minutes. This is the third time we've used Cleartree over the past five years, and every experience has been outstanding. My wife and I are pretty sure Chris was part of the crew on our last job as well, which speaks to the consistency of their team. Additionally, they talked about how good Mike was to his employees. I LOVE supporting small businesses that take care of their people. Their pricing has always been fair, their customer service is exceptional, and when you're dealing with an emergency like this, having a company you can completely trust is invaluable. I cannot recommend Cleartree highly enough. If you need tree work done, whether it's routine maintenance or an emergency, this is the company to call. They earned a customer for life last time. Now, I'm advocating for others to use them. read more

ClearTree did a great job helping me clean up a host of damage from a tornado that occurred in June. Owner, Mike Kasun, was prompt about assessing the damage, providing a detailed estimate, and scheduling each phase of the job. Kasun's exceptional customer care became more obvious as he provided temporary fencing to close gaps in my fence where fallen trees created large gaps in my permanent fence. He also identified beech leaf disease in my remaining trees and helped arrange for timely treatment to protect and preserve these trees. The tornado clean-up work had to be done in phases because of the number of trees affected, the location, and accessibility. ClearTree's phased approach showcased a diverse combination of heavy equipment and techniques to get the job done well while mitigating any damage to my property. ClearTree crews pruned lightly damaged trees, removed heavily damaged trees, and removed uprooted trees. Much of this sensitive work was done in close proximity to buildings and fencing. Their clean-up was very thorough, leaving me minimal work to prepare for replanting. ClearTree was not the least expensive provider for my work, but they were clearly the most capable, comprehensive, and conscientious for the job. I am pleased with ClearTree's service and recommend them for any tree care or removal that you need. read more

Cleartree Tree Services in Joppa, MD This is a truly wonderful company! I just had to put in a review praising these guys. My neighbor had 3 very large trees removed and stumps ground. Cleartree showed up a few minutes early, managed to maneuver their trucks and mulching equipment in limited spaces and were very respectful of other drivers on the road and the properties. This crew is unbelievably organized with amazing and precise tree cutting techniques. It was an all day job from before 8am until after 5pm. They took down 3 extremely large trees on different locations of the property. They cleaned up every bit of evidence that they were even there except for those missing trees! The crew worked together so harmoniously, you can tell they enjoy their jobs. I had to go over and watch! It was like going to see a well orchestrated artistic performance! They will definitely be the only company I will call on future trees to be trimmed or removed. Just so impressive! read more

We have used Cleartree twice so far in 2021 for tree removal, stump grinding and trimming services. The owner, Mike Kasun, is a true professional and the crews are outstanding. Mike came out very soon after our calls for service, arrived very promptly on time for appointments, and followed up with accurate and thorough quotes within days of initial consultations. He is extremely knowledgeable in this field and gave us useful guidance as we planned major changes to our landscape. The work crews arrived on time and were super careful not to damage the lawn or plants that were near those to be trimmed/removed. The work site was perfectly cleaned up when they were done, leaving our property in better condition than when they arrived. We intend to use Cleartree again and highly recommend them for all tree removal and trimming needs! read more

We so appreciated the careful tree clearance procedure that ClearTree followed in clearing a dying pine tree in close proximity to our backward solar panels. They came exactly on time. They carefully laid down thick 4 x 8 sheets of plywood to keep from damaging our lawn unlike another tree trimming company that ruined a neighbor's lawn and left debris in the street. When cutting branches and eventually the main trunk, they carefully lowered them by rope to avoid our neighbor yards and our solar panels. And they finished a little sooner than their 2-hour estimate they made as they started the job. The cheaper company ultimate cost our neighbor to repair their lawn so in the end they were not cheaper than ClearTree. A great company with courteous and skilled personnel! read more

I rarely write reviews, but I had such a great experience with this company that I had to share it. In a nutshell: a huge limb fell from one of my big maple trees onto my neighbors roof. ClearTree was the only company to respond in a timely manner. Mike, the owner, is great. The crew that arrived several days later had exactly the right equipment, skill and expertise to remove the limb which required a technically tricky series of procedures to protect the house. They also took out a large juniper for me, ground the stump and removed the section of the broken limb that still remained attached to my tree. For such skilled work their prices were incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend this company. read more

Clear Tree once again provided exceptional, efficient, and thorough tree removal. This time, five trees were removed from our front yard, including three large, top heavy, vine-infested white pines straddling our property line. Mike and Tim worked with us and our neighbors to get this job done in two days, including stump grinding. The results are amazing! No evidence that those five declining trees were ever there. A crew will return in November to prune a lovely old redbud. It is always a pleasure to work with Clear Tree and their well-coordinated professional tree service teams. We are very pleased, and highly recommend Clear Tree. read more

This is an exceptionally run company, and about as professional as it gets. We had quite a complicated job, as 11 trees were located just on the crest of a hill in our rear yard that abuts a rear door neighbor's yard, with fencing all around. Mike Kasun, the owner of the company, wrote a letter in advance to the neighbor walking him through the entire process and allaying any fears the neighbor had about potential damage to his own property. The job was done perfectly and precisely as mapped out by Mike ahead of time. Neighbor quite happy, as not a lick of damage to his property. Highly recommend you consider ClearTree! read more

Had a great deal of work done by Cleartree. From tree removal, stump grinding , pruning they did a fantastic job. Tree removal in field difficult to get to and they got it all done and hand carried every branch and stump out. Put all the mulch back in flower bed and left the property in perfect condition. Have used them several times and have always been very pleased with their work. Mike and staff are always on time, polite and treat property like it was their own. Even waited while had to let dogs out to do their business with no impatience. read more

ClearTree removed two trees and pruned two other trees. They were very responsive to questions and did an excellent job from start to finish. They arrived on time and took care of everything efficiently. The stumps and roots were removed, as well as the shavings. The area was left flat and even. The only way you can tell trees were removed is the lack of grass in the area. Plywood was put down to protect the grass. Everything was cleaned up before they left. I will use them in the future and highly recommend them. read more

I had 4 large trees come down following a storm in July. I called Clear Tree and they were out the same day to give me and estimate. After approving the estimate, Clear Tree went to work. It was anticipated that the job would take 3 days. The crews were very efficient, showed respect for my property and always communicated with me while on site. They were able to finish the job in two days. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the entire process. I would highly recommend Clear Tree and would use them again. read more

I based my selection of Cleartree based on the wonderful job done at my neighbor's. They removed three large trees and a small one. The large trees were entwined with electric wires. They worked around the wires without cutting the power off. They did an outstanding job in removing the trees and cleaning the yard spotless. I also had them remove one stump. They removed it totally and leveled the ground making it ready for seeding. I definitely would recommend them and will use them again. read more

I had one tree trimmed and one removed. Joe came and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He was courteous and knowledgeable. I appreciated his advice and professionalism. The crew arrived early, set up and started working. Before I knew it they were cleaning up and gone. It was like they just swooped in, took care of business and left. They did make sure I was happy with the work before they left. And I was!!! EXCELLENT! I'll be calling them again soon to remove two more trees. read more

As a satisfied prior customer, we contacted Cleartree when one of our very large trees fell across our neighbor's fence and into her yard. The estimator arrived within 2 hours and shortly provided us with an estimate to remove the tree. The price was reasonable and the work was completed a few days later. The Cleartree crew removed the tree protecting our property from damage and leaving the area spotless. Could not be more impressed with Cleartree's performance. read more

One of the best companies in Harford County. The owner Michael Kasun couldn't be nicer. The crew that came did an excellent job. The manager made sure all the trees were cut to satisfaction. They came on time and then cleaned up all the debris before leaving. Ellie, the office manager, went above and beyond to help in every way possible. I've repeatedly used Cleartree over the years and will continue to. Thank you, Cleartree, for always providing the utmost service. read more

A 70' white pine came down across my back yard. I was told they were busy, so I tried a couple of other places but got no response. They managed to squeeze me in within 24 hours after accepting their proposal. Did such a great job, I'm sorry I wasted time looking elsewhere. They will be the first, last and only place I call in the future. And thanks to my Dad for recommending them. read more
