I was in town and noticed there was a large tree hanging dangerously over my Mom's home. I reached out to Arbormasters and received their proposal on July 24th. The pricing was very reasonable. On July 25th we accepted their proposal and yesterday (August 1st) they showed up as promised. They did an AMAZING job. They were professional, thorough and cleaned up beautifully (yes they even used a blower to blow off all the sawdust and leaves from on top of the roof). To top it off, I had asked if they could cut a few branches off another tree that they gladly did without charge. I would absolutely recommend Arbormasters without hesitation. This is our second time using Arbor Masters for pruning and removing some smaller trees. Randy is very easy to work with and very responsive. We tried to coordinate our schedules for several weeks and when we finally set a date, the staff arrived as expected. The crew was very mindful of the items on our back patio and took effort to ensure that things were cleared appropriately before they began working. We were pleased with the end result including the shaping of the trees. It was also a nice surprise to see how thoroughly they cleaned after working. Honestly, they used the leaf blower and rake and cleaned up some areas that they had not even touched! Called May 14, 2018 to see if I could have someone come look at my tree. The receptionist said they're really busy but they'd call back in the next couple weeks to make an appointment. She took my phone number and address. It is June 15 and I still haven't gotten a call. This happened with another company as well. I understand that they're busy but either schedule an appointment when people call or tell them that you're booked. The whole "we will someday call you" thing isn't awesome. read more

I had received an estimate from a separate company for some trimming, which seemed excessive, so I called Arbormasters for a second opinion. The estimator swung by one day and gave me an estimate that was well below the previous one, so I clearly went with them. The guys that did the work were great! They managed to cut a huge limb shading my garden, all without damaging any of the baby plants directly below the tree. It was also kind of entertaining to watch how quickly they scaled the tree and took it down! read more

Randy and his crew just took down a very large black walnut tree - wedged in tightly to a workshop on a hillside. They reached over the building with their large crane - two men coordinated rigging the top section and severing the upper trunk such that the upper part of the tree could be lifted up and over the shed and maneuvered into a clear spot on the lawn. They did the same for the main trunk (12 ft. long, 2 ft plus in diameter). No damage to anything. A pleasure to watch a well-coordinated, professional (and friendly) team of workers. Consulted me at various junctures and exhibited excellent problem-solving ability. Can't recommend more highly. read more

I can't say enough good things about them! From the initial phone call through the end of the job, they were professional, helpful, friendly and did excellent work. This was a tricky old maple tree, wedged in a corner between power lines and they did the job quickly and safely. Pricing was very fair, more than fair in fact.
