I experienced significant tree damage from a storm. They were working in the area and I stopped one of there trucks to ask for a quote. Victor came out promptly the next day and offered me a fair quote. One of the trees was split half way up and stuck on other 30' above the ground. They did a good job minimizing damage to neighboring trees in the area when removing that, and when bringing bigger trunk wood off the property. They came when they said they would and went above and beyond with the cleanup. We will be recommending them, and using them in the future. read more

I do not understand any negative reviews on this company. We have used them three times. One at our home and twice at my parent's. Every time they are professional, courteous, and have so much integrity that you want to hire them for your company. My son returned home to assist at my parent's. He used to cut trees commercially. They were removing a tree in my neighbors yard and they dismantled my fence without authorization or any notification to see if they could enter my property. Then they did not even repair the damage they did to my yard or fence! I tried contacting them several times and they never respond. read more

Victor, with Timber Pros helped me out tremendously. As an out of town caregiver I have to rely on the word and integrity of others in a lot of different scenarios. This scenario was a huge fallen tree and another big one about to go. Under pressure, as I had to leave town, I was given Victors name by a neighbor. He was immediately responsive, asked for photos, and went the next morning to preview the situation and quote the job. As a person with a property with a lot of trees I told him his price had to be competitive as I had another guy wanting the business. He gives me this amazing price, he was super flexible as I had to coordinate a friend to be there as well, and as promised 8:00 am on a Friday crew showed up on time and did an amazing job. No integrity with this company. They showed up a day late. Which normally would not be an issue, it was a much wetter day when they cut as opposed to when they were scheduled. In addition, I never got a call when they were not going to show. They just showed up the next day. The guy that came with the crew, that spoke to me, stated two main things. 1) they would cut the main tree at the top and then at the bottom to minimize yard/grass damage, and 2) they would take $100 off of the cost due to being a day late. The tree was cut in one big section which ended up causing twice as much yard/grass damage, and they never stood by their promise to reduce the cost by $100. I was told that I needed to pay the $100 when they came back to grind the stump. We agreed at the time they cut that it was too wet to bring the stump grinder in. read more

This is a terrible company to deal with. They gave me a quote without adding my discount. When I called the company to inquire and request a new invoice with the discount; I was told sorry and Victor would call me to make it right. He never called. After several calls and waiting over a week, I texted the company. I got the nastiest response. It was so bad that after the interaction I blocked the number. Please read the reviews and do not ever give your business to this company. They are unprofessional, rude, and simply lie to customers. I would never trust them with any project. read more

I was disappointed with this company. I liked the depth of the quote that I received but it took about a week to get it back. I had made an appointment to take the tree down. They were supposed to come between 8-9. I called at 9:15 to check on the status and was told they would call me back. I called back again 30 minutes later to get an update only to find out they would not be coming today. I am very big on communication and was disappointed that this was not communicated to me. When asked about another date, it would be about 2 weeks longer for this tree to be removed. I have since gone with another company that was 1)more affordable, 2)better communication and 3)timely (I was able to get an appointment to remove my tree in the same week). read more

Timber Pros came and gave us an estimate and fit us in the very next week to complete the job. Their pricing was great and the crew workers did a wonderful job removing 7 trees in our yard. I was very impressed with their work; however, my one complaint is when it came time to grind the stumps, since the grindings were to remain on site, and per the contract, not to be hauled away, we did not realize that the stumps were not grinded down far enough until it was time to get a landscaper to bring fill dirt to level out the yard. I emailed the company twice, giving much praise for their work, and asked kindly if they wouldn't mind coming out and spending a few minutes grinding the stumps down a little further so that I didn't have mounds of stump roots left in the yard. My landscaper cannot level out my yard until the roots are level to the ground. I have not heard back from anyone after sending my 2 emails. This is very disappointing considering I gave them an incredible review and had planned on using them again for future jobs. A business owner would want to satisfy their customer in every way possible and I do not believe asking them to grind a couple stumps a bit further is asking for too much. I will gladly remove this review and give a new review with 5 stars if the owner replies to my emails and offers a solution to the problem. read more

The tree in front of my South Baltimore rowhouse had gotten out of control. Timber Pros took several feet off the top and sides, leaving it with a nice shape. The crew were polite and cleaned up everything when they were done. I'm very happy with the work. However, the company is a bit challenged with regard to communications. Have used Victor and his crew for 4 jobs so far. I Used them in Parkville 2 times cutting large oak leaning over the house (and other trees behind the house) - they removed amazingly (it was a view to watch) by lowing limbs one at a time and into the chipper. After 3.5 hours - job was completed perfectly and area was raked and blown clean. Used them few times on my new home to clean and prepare for solar installation - this was a bigger job, removing 3 large trees and trimming 6 tree tops. I can't say enough great things about crew. During our initial visit, Victor was professional and provided a competitive quote for job to remove some large branches protruding over a power line. We agreed to have the work done by him and scheduled a date for the work to be done. Unfortunately they were not able to work on that day, and on another day, due to the weather. Ultimately another day was set and they actually completed the work the day before that day. The crew worked well as a team. I was marginally satisfied with this company. It took over a week to get an initial estimate. Their communication process is disjointed (between the appraiser, front office, and work crew) and their customer service rep couldn't make any decisions or do any actual scheduling. When I decided to have the work done, it took several weeks to get on their schedule and I had to keep calling them (vice them calling me back). The crew did show up promptly, there were numerous employees and crew vehicles and they completed the work is about 1.5 hours. However, the crew leader couldn't speak English very well, so my questions and comments went largely unanswered (and/or not understood). As a result, I believe they cut too much off the top of the tree. We'll see in time if the tree goes into distress or dies. Lastly, they couldn't provide me an receipt and my requests via email have gone unanswered. Their customer service can be MUCH better and I'll look elsewhere next time. read more

Last week we had a lot of damage to our trees and yard due to the recent storm. Timber Pros Tree Care was working in my neighbor's yard so I went over to see if the could help me out. After talking with several tree service companies, including one that had done work on my property previously, I expected Timber Pros to say that I would be put on a waiting list. Just like the other companies that I called. However, Mario, the crew chief immediately came over to my house, gave me an estimate and in a few hours his crew showed up with all the right equipment and enough workers to do the job quickly, professionally, and safely at a very reasonable price. Needless to say, it was very late in the day when they wrapped up. When we noticed that there some some additional damage we called Mario (he gave me his direct cell phone number) back and he and his crew was back the next morning. Outstand Service! Excellent Workmanship! Incredible People. I will definitely call Timber Pros Tree Care the next time I need work done and specifically ask for Mario and his crew. read more
