100% would recommend The Tree People! From the moment we requested the quote until the work was complete -- they were professional and courteous! Peter who came to do our initial quote was amazing and they provided a fair price for the work that needed to be done! On the day of the tree removal, the team arrived on time and did a wonderful job removing the tree and cleaned everything up well including in our neighbors yard! Kudos, to the Tree People Team! read more

We had a great experience with The Tree People! I had gotten several quotes for hauling away debris from a fallen tree and trimming our "out of control" hedges. Ron's quote was so competitive, I called him back to add tree trimming and the removal of two stumps. The guys did the job in 5 hours and we couldn't be happier with the results! Thanks Ron! read more

Great company. They showed up quickly to assess and gave us a reasonable proposal. Proposal accepted. They returned immediately and trimmed our trees. Great job. We have used them on the past and will use them again. read more

Complete professionals from site and job assessment, presenting a quote, to scheduling the service, to performing the service. Not the lowest quote, but far from being the highest. The online interaction is superb and very professionally done. It makes all aspects very easy and smooth. No one was ever too busy to take my call and answered all questions completely and in a timely manner. My job was removal to two very overgrown Bradford Pear trees that were endangering my house as well as the houses of two neighbors. The skill and professionalism were impressive. The vehicles were professionally marked and identified and all crew wore professional clothing identifying themselves and their employer. Had both stumps ground and was surprised when the crew cleaned up so well you couldn't tell where the stumps were - then proceeded to spread top soil, grass seed, and hay. Highly recommended. Don't waste your time shopping a tree service. Just call The Tree People. read more

I contacted the Tree People for a quote to remove a root growing into my driveway. They came right away (I didn't even need to be home) and sent me a quote. Unfortunately they recommended removing the tree and I'd rather have a bumpy driveway than be without that tree... but $2000 for that big tree is a fair price. read more

The Tree People removed several large branches and all dead wood from 2 very large oak trees. Their work was excellent!!! From arrival through clean up they were professional and efficient. Wonderful job and well trained crew! I highly recommend this company. read more

I ordered a cord of wood. We have ordered from this company in the past had no problems. We got the wood dumped in the driveway when I started to stack it and I noticed it was all junk wood. Scraps, rotten wood, short pieces 4 or 6 inches. Had to throw a lot away could not even use it looked like the company cleaned out their yard and put the wood in ours. read more

I just had them come and grid the tree stump that was left I should have done it when they cut it down, but I didn't. So they were on time and did all of the work very well. Thank you Tree people read more

If I could give The Tree People a 5+ star, I would. From the first initial contact with Cindy to get a quote, to the email follow up from Michael they were very professional. Within a few days I had a written quote emailed to me and the price was better than all 6 others I received. The day of, which was 4 days later, 6 men showed up right on time and within 5 hours I had 4 huge oak trees removed, stumps grinded and everything was cleaned up like they were never there. The Tree People really want your business and it shows that they have the best employees around. Thank you again! I referred you to my co-worker, who also chose you to remove some trees! read more

Always a great job by The Tree People. Quality and professionalism by everyone at this company, from the office staff to the field teams. Very pleased, and highly recommended! read more

Their response for an estimate was pretty fast. I had one of their tree experts come out the next day to give me an estimate. The price was around what other service providers quoted. We have several large trees in our backyard and a large one in the front. On the day of the service the crew quickly removed all of the old branches and cleaned up the yard. They also did some minor work in the backyard with the poison ivy plant we were having issues with. read more

We have used The Tree People twice in the last 3 years for pruning cherry and maple trees. We are very satisfied and will continue to use this company in the future. Very prompt in coming out to our property and providing reasonable quotes. Very reliable in arriving at the scheduled time, completing the work to our satisfaction and cleaning up all debris. Easy to reach the office with questions and prompt responses. Would highly recommend this company. read more

Really amazing service from the Tree People. Easy estimate, fair price, good communication. The job scheduled for one month out which was fine until a storm blew down a limb. After contacting the office, they came within two days. It took the team 2.5 hours to take down a large tree. They left nothing behind, it was very clean. Highly recommend. read more

They were quick with an estimate, had the lowest price, and were efficient and cleaned up excellently.

Fantastic service. Next day estimate, fast and friendly service by the work crew, clean up just as directed and a very fair price. One thing in particular I liked about the estimate in comparison to the ones I got from other companies (besides the price) is that it listed the actual services being performed in detail, as well as the equipment (trucks, etc.) that would be used on the job. It gave me an transparent idea of what I was getting for what cost. Everyone I dealt with via phone, email, and in person was helpful and pleasant. Will use again. read more

We chose The Tree People (TTP) because they were the most cost efficient and had a great reputation to go with that quote. We had 5 very large pine trees and one spruce tree that needed to be removed and the stumps ground. The team of six showed up at 9ish and I was completely impressed - it was like a six-headed machine, one guy was climbing and cutting limbs then others were putting them into the chipper, while others were prepping for guiding the top portion of the tree to fall in the appropriate place when it was cut. They finished the entire job by the end of the day - seemingly an impossible task. The spruce tree needed to be dropped in an 8 foot wide area so as not to hit our house or crush any shrubs...the dropped it dead center in that space. It was the most interesting thing I have seen recently - skill, crazy hard work and safely dropping these enormous trees. I was like a 12 year old just watching in awe. Great work TTP!!! read more

Sadly, you couldn't pay me enough to use the tree people. I contacted them about removing a dead tree and trimming a few others. I scheduled an appointment to have them stop by my house for an estimate. The time came and went without anyone showing up, calling, or emailing. A few days before the appointment we noticed ribbons STAPLED to several of our trees. No indication of who did it and not something I would have allowed. About 2 weeks later I received an emailed estimate referencing the ribbon colors from the Tree People. To rehash: 1. They didn't show up on the day and time they said they would. 2. They randomly showed up and stapled my trees! 3. They never made an effort to contact me about what I thought needed to be done, only what they thought needed to be done. As if things weren't bad enough, the estimate was by far the highest of the ones I collected. Next time I need tree work done, I'll be sure not to contact The Tree People. And in case you're wondering, I went with Final Cut Tree Care out of White Marsh. read more

Fast easy service. Trim trimming looks great. No problems. And Mike was able to handle most of scheduling with email, which saved me time. Prior to tree people I had contacted three tree trimming companies without any response from them. I then contacted Tree People and much to my surprise, Mike came out the next day to give an estimate. I didn't even need to be home! They were great. read more

My tenant had passed onto me an estimate from the tree people for removing a dead tree in the yard. I contacted them with the estimate and indicated that I have another rental a few blocks away that also needs some tree trimming. I described what needed to be done and the estimator went to the site, marked the trees and sent me an estimate. I noticed that they missed the 2nd tree with deadwood and the estimator indicated he would be out the following week. I asked if we could get the first job scheduled but he said he wants to get the other estimate squared away and do both jobs the same day. Once the estimate was squared away and I agreed with the price, the office emailed me and said I was on the schedule but the date they gave me was 5 weeks away. I followed up with the office by email 10 days before the scheduled day to make sure we were still on schedule for both jobs and provided the estimate tracking numbers in the email. The office said yes I am still on schedule but had Tuesdays date opposed to Mondays date. On Monday I got a call from the field crew saying they were not going to make it that afternoon but they will be there first thing in the morning. The following morning I called the office to see which site they were going to first. They said there was confussion since the first site estimate was under the tenants name they didn't have it scheduled even though a week earlier I specifically asked in my email if both jobs were scheduled. I asked so what time will you be at the job that was on the schedule. They said they won't be because they want to reschedule both jobs on the same day. I said Okay what day, they told me they will get back to me the following day by noon. Once again they gave me a date 4 weeks out, having me wait essentially another month. The following day I called another company who met on Thursday to do the estimate and was there on Friday to do the tree work. I can't speak for the quality of work or professionalism of the field crew because the owner, his office staff and estimator could not get their act together and had put me off for over 2 months. read more

I hired them for lot clearing. They did a great job. Mike provided a good competitive estimate and Ron quickly followed up when I called to schedule. The crew arrived on time and worked quickly and professionally. All work was performed as agreed in the estimate and cleanup afterwards made it almost seem like they were never there. I would hire them again. Recommended! read more

I have used their services on multiple occasions and they are THE best. The crew was friendly, courteous and they did an excellent job. We had about 10 street lined trees trimmed, some large brush clean-up and stump grinding. Highly recommend them. read more

I had The Tree People do work on my property this past week. I have never seen a crew of men work so hard. Their work was exemplary! The crew was thorough, polite and very professional. I was so impressed with the work, the crew, the price and how hard these guys worked on a day that was miserably hot and humid! I will never use another Tree Company other than The Tree People and I highly recommend them. read more

Not impressed with their pricing. The estimator was a NO show and then came back another day but was but late... We decided to use someone else outside Pasadena which we got better prices without discount -- saving us $ 400 and the second estimator found a few more dead branches that was omit in the first estimate. ( that was even with The Tree People 20% discount ). Be sure to get more than one estimates. I tried to do all my business in Pasadena since I live in Pasadena .. but not this time. read more

Look elsewhere. ... Accepted an estimate on March 26th. I was not followed-up with/notified until April 4th that the work would not be completed until April 24th. No call and no show for that appointment. I had to call 48 hours later to inform them that they had failed to keep the appointment. This happened THREE! more times. They set the appointment and then they failed to show or notify me of the need to re-schedule. (Oh!, but they did manage to bill me for one of the appointments that they did not show up for). Work was finally completed 45 DAYS after the estimate. This was to have one stump that measured 24" x 24" ground down. A fence post was damaged in the course of the work, too. Their response, "We'll note that in the file." What!?!?! The one time they did care to take the time to contact me was 5 days after the work was done, but NOT to see if I was satisfied. Instead, they only wanted to know where the payment was. Again, look elsewhere. read more
