The crew from Unlimbited came out yesterday and removed several large trees, plus trimming out several others. They were pleasant, efficient and professional. All disturbed areas were left clean and well raked out. Very pleased with the service. Well worth price paid! read more

Did not finish the job, made excuses to delay finishing our job ***Until the next Season***, went back on their verbal and written agreements, tore up ~200 square feet of our lawn, and then egregiously misrepresented the situation to avoid responsibility for not finishing the job. Details follow: 1) We agreed to remove the fallen portions of 3 trees for $8000. 2) They offered a cash discount, and gave us an invoice for $7000. 3) After the 2nd visit, they left half of the yard covered in trunks and debris and expressed disinterest in coming back for various reasons. 4) They offered another discount for delaying the job "until Fall," or they would keep the price the same and come back sooner to finish it. The new total was $6500, and we hold on to $1000 until the job is done, so we paid $5500 at their office. 4) Later they changed the deal, and said they were offering a discount to NOT finish the job at all ($6500), or else they were going to put off finishing our job "until the next season" (ie. 1-2 months out...). 6) They blamed my wife for being 'frustrated' as the reason these miscommunications occurred, not knowing that they were on speaker phone and I heard what they said and offered myself, and she was always friendly. They claim the delay in finishing the job is because they're "too busy with emergencies" (...until the next season...) 7) Then they demanded we pay the remaining $1000. We kept our word. They removed about 2 trees, and our yard is still covered in debris, entire tree trunks, and they left having done maybe 2/3 to 3/4 of the job if I'm being generous. Our yard is torn up badly with entire solid dirt patches, estimated ~200 square feet in addition to smaller patches throughout as a result of their tools, tractors, and methods, which we unfortunately signed away in our contract (we upheld our end...). read more

This is a conversation I had with the owner of Unlimbited Tree Service. Coming to your own conclusions is warranted in this situation. Me 4:23 pm, Sept 29 Hi Charles. My name is Tammy Akers and I have been waiting a long time to have your company come out and do the work based on the contract I signed. I have been trying to work with Ray. I had already given him a 3rd chance to make this right and yet, here I am again, not getting the work done. This last time he said I had to wait another 1 to 2 weeks which I believe was 2 weeks ago. Please help. Me 4:26 pm The contract was written somewhere around August 15. Charles Preslipsky 4:57 pm Ok. I'll get with Ray so we can figure this out. I'll get back with you after I speak to him. Charles Preslipsky 5:25 pm So our bucket truck was down on 2 different occasions when your jobs was scheduled for blown hydraulic lines. It was down for almost a month between the 2 situations. Your job is smaller in nature and is scheduled to be completed when there's other bucket jobs that are close to your home. That hasn't happened yet. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused but I also understand that the job was significantly underbid. I would typically walk away from this job under any other circumstances but I think getting this done for you is the right thing to do. This job has to be completed the same time we are in the area. And currently in not sure when that will be but will let you know when I do. The other option is that you can 100% contract another company ti complete the job. At this point I will continue to see when scheduling your job will make the most sense, but it's going to be difficult. We never start our day off with a $600 job that's going to take us 2.5 hours. Just let me know what direction you would like to proceed with this. Me 5:37 pm So you had me waiting all this time for what? I didn't bid the job but I have to suffer because of it. Your company bid it to make up for a crummy sales pitch with misinformation. How many times did Ray tell me he was coming out in a week to do the job but said nothing about having to wait until it was convenient for you because you underbid. Again, how did that become my problem? Charles Preslipsky 6:00 pm Sorry got the inconvenience. Find another company to do your work. I legally retain the option to choose who my company works for and I don't believe we are a good fit for you and your project. Thanks for the opportunity. Me 6:14 pm So thats how you figure things out? By dropping the customer who has been sitting patiently waiting for you to perform the work you contracted? You had a contract with me. Not a single unkind word has come out of my mouth. I have been respectful and understanding of your broken truck dilemma. I waited a full month for someone to call me and lmk what was going on. And now this? I's bad business and Im definitely going to let as many people know as humanly possible that this is how you treat people. You had no reason drop me. I said or did nothing disrespectful. Btw, did you know that your sales guy quoted $800 and Jay quoted $600? That doesn't constitute "significantly underbid". Charles Preslipsky 6:20 pm I gave you 2 options. You chose not to answer the question of which option you wanted to proceed with moving forward. Instead you continued to dwell on what happened in the past. I offered solution moving forward. When you choose not to be an active participant in the solution, it's a problem. Sorry things didn't work out. Me 6:36 pm Just because you say something doesn't make it true. Attempting to communicate makes me an active participant, which is what I've done. Your options were unacceptable, and I was trying to explain why. Take some business courses and maybe you'll learn what good business is. Im afraid you've created no confidence that you are doing right by others. Ray's own aunt would agree, Im sure. He admittedly dropped the ball. Would you like to see the text? In my opinion, you fall under shady businessmen. read more

We have a large wooded area. Unlimited gave us a very reasonable bid for removing 9 popular trees, each between 90 and 120 ft tall. Gama led a crew of 6 who felled the trees, hauled the trunks, and chipped the smaller stuff. They did all this work without damaging other trees or anything else on the property. They kept the gates closed and all the clutter tidy. We highly recommend, especially if you can get Gama and his crew. read more

We need to have an oak tree removed from our yard and was requesting an estimate, however, we did not get past the gatekeeper. Unfortunately, my husband did not get his name. We wanted to let the owner know what occurred. The young man was advocating for the tree and gave my husband many reasons to not take it down. He droned on for several minutes. My husband said fine, we won't take it down so he could hang up. The individual called him back. It was not his place to educate on green initiatives. He did not even know our yard and the situation. We thought the owner would like to know about this. read more

I had a 150 plus year old Red Oak that was growing over my house. It was diagnosed as terminal and was slowly dying. I hired Unlimited Tree Service. The crew worked hard to limit damage to my yard placing pads on the grass and they worked professionally to remove this tree. If I had to estimate, the tree was 75 percent over hanging my house. How they removed it without limbs falling on my house was amazing. If you are reading this, you should consider hiring Unlimited Tree Service. read more

This company will completely destroy your lawn while taking down your tree. And then when you say anything about it, they will scream at you on the phone about your complaints. There are plenty of other tree companies in the area DO NOT USE THIS ONE. See attached pictures for the lawn destruction. Note: That whole area was grass except where the tree was in the very corner of the yard. read more

I called Unlimited for an estimate to remove a huge old oak tree which unfortunately had developed a bad split. The tree had a trunk at least 4' in diameter, 60 - 70 ft high and was hanging over my house. Jesus quickly responded and gave me an estimate which was VERY competitive. I hired them and the crew came early the next morning. It was a 6 man crew and they worked until after 6pm that afternoon. The climber was in the tree pretty much all day, carefully cutting and lowering branches to the crew below. Not a single branch touched my house. They ground up the entire tree, except for the trunk which was hauled away. The stump grinder came a couple of days later. The crew was careful and very pleasant to work with. I've heard others complain about lawn damage. Some damage is inevitable, given the heavy equipment needed for such a big job. The crew put down planks to minimize ruts in the lawn. The yard was not severely damaged and the crew patched what they could. The grass will re-grow in the fall with a bit of TLC. Cleanup was excellent. All-in-all, I would give this company an excellent review and would definitely use them again. read more

I have a tree that had a broken limb and a lot of dead wood in it. I also had another tree that needed pruning. I called Unlimbited and their representative came out within an hour. We discussed the scope of work I needed and he gave me an estimate right then and there. The price was very reasonable and agreed to the work. They had their crew out there within 2 hours and got the work down. All the crew members were professional and polite. They worked together and got everything done quickly and cleaned up. I would definitely recommend them. read more

If you need tree service, you cannot receive better value than by using Unlimited Tree Service. I live on a large lot with many very old trees. I have used this company over years. The expertise of arborist Chuck Preslipsky provides necessary information to determine what work is needed. Ray Caputo coordinates the teams of tree technicians. Ray is honest, informative and completely on point in his on-site information regarding the work. HIs tree technicians work together as a team, are polite and helpful. I was meaning to take down 2 regular size trees on my property myself but never found the time. I bit the bullet and decided to hire someone. We were in search of a tree company that would trim, one very large tree, and one somewhat smaller tree. The company arrived with a bucket truck. which was needed along with a big a chipper truck. Five men were on the crew. They started working and when they finished, it was absolutely fabulous. I could not be any happier with the job that they did, and I would never hesitate to use them again. Their prices are reasonable, they were gracious, and this was one of the best choices I've made for our yard. Kudos for outstanding work! read more

This place doesn't even deserve the 1 star quite frankly. They have made it all too clear that they are willing to be dismissive to potential clientele. After calling for service multiple times, I have been told a technician would give me a call, only for no one to contact me. This has been the case 4 times. The last time I called to speak with a supervisor, they couldn't be bothered to call back either. This company is unprofessional and poor at communication and follow-through. They also need to fix their val-pak coupons, they show the wrong phone number. read more

TOP NOTCH from start to finish. Don't wait, call them NOW!!! The pricing was the most reasonable and the work was second to none. Jeremy, my salesperson, was professional, yet personable. He gave me his cell number and answered each and EVERY time I called or sent a text. He didn't "earn my business" and then send me to someone else for questions/concerns. He was very honest and upfront with his pricing and was able to quickly answer and explain all aspects of the job (2 very tall oak trees). His crew showed up on time and ready to work. Each person was in uniform and very professional. They completed the job faster than anticipated and worked WONDERS!! They cleaned up before they left and didn't hesitate to answer a couple of questions I had. When I say they cleaned up, I mean CLEANED UP!!! My yard was cleaner than it was before they started. I am ready to have people over for a BBQ after how well they cleaned the yard (twigs, leaves and branches). I had lots of brush in a wheelbarrow that I was going to discard. They took care of it. I had leaves and twigs in the yard (away from the job). They took care of it. I had small piles of rocks and old stumps in the yard (again, away from the job). Needless to say...they took care of it. When the tree hit the ground, it created an indentation. They filled in the divets (a few inches deep) with dirt and smoothed it out. If I cut down my own tree, I don't know that I would/could have done a better job. They even cut of some of the wood and left it for me to burn in the fireplace (stacked beautifully of course). All I did was tell them I wanted to keep it for firewood. They took it upon themselves to cut and stack it. I figured they would just sit it to the side. They even sculpted the stump of a tree so I could use it as a stool. I am BLOWN away and will NEVER use or recommend another tree service. read more

Storm hit our area with lots of tree damage. Tree damage in yard near power lines. Company was in area doing a big job. Asked for an estimate. He came down within 5 minutes and gave me a good estimate. He did the job about 2 hours later and cleaned up debris. Very satisfied. Will be the first one I call if I need service again. Called and emailed some others and no response. Highly recommend. Also, love the name UnLIMBited! read more

When I got home I was pleased with how everything looked! And 3 days later my stump was ground down! Thanks a lot and I will be sure to put the word out on your excellent service! read more

I had a terrible customer service experience with this company. I requested a quote which took well over a week to obtain. When I tried to schedule them to perform the work, I was again delayed and they never returned my calls so I had to keep calling them even though I was told I would be contacted for an appointment. Then, they kept delaying since they "wouldn't be in the area" (guess I wasn't a valuable customer). Twice they said they would contact me to schedule an appointment the following week and neither time did I hear back from them. Also, their customer service can't schedule work to be done and constantly says "I'll get back to you", which is poor customer service and they don't actually call back. I would never recommend this company. read more

We inherited a fair amount of pine trees lining our back yard, and they had grown quite a bit since we got the house. After a storm, one had come down on our tulip poplar, which was barely holding it up, & if the tree fell the wrong way, it would take down 2 others that had been damaged by the storm but not felled - potentially damaging the neighbor's property. I called Unlimbited and they were prompt in coming out to assess the risk & give us an estimate, and since they were already dealing with a lot of storm damage all over, gave us the closest appointment they could. When a date came open sooner, they called us right away to ask if we wanted them to come sooner, and were there the next day. Our son interacted with them as I am not able to manage the stairs yet, and he said they were very careful to make sure no damage occurred to the neighboring properties, and that the house remained unscathed (we were very blessed that nothing had gone wrong sooner, I believe). Their work was well and professionally done, and I can't recommend them highly enough. If you need tree work done, call them, they're great! And reasonably priced, for the work they did especially! read more

Unlimbited came recommended by my neighbors and I'd seen their ads in several mailers. I decided to contact them for an estimate on removing a dead tree and trimming several others. The estimator was on time, polite, and seemed to have good suggestions about options I should consider. Unfortunately for them, they were my first estimate for the job. When they came back with a price tag close to $3,000 (even after the discount), I was blown away. I figured all of my estimates would be that high and I would need to just grin and bare it. Luckily, they were the second highest bid (The Tree People was the first) and I ended up going with Final Cut Tree Care instead. If I could offer them any advice, it would be to provide a breakdown of costs for services. I was given a very large number with no idea why. Maybe if I had been given even a basic list of prices, I could have scaled back a few things and made the price more reasonable for my budget. read more

These guys were great! Our sales rep, Joe, was extremely knowledgeable and responsive, and was able to schedule our estimate and tree removal before any other company we called. Their price was also the lowest by far. On the day of the tree removal, the crew arrived ahead of schedule and expertly removed two huge trees from our background. They also did a great job cleaning up afterward. Highly recommended! read more

I would like to personally thank the owner of Unlimbited Tree Service for the absolute stellar work of his entire team! My husband and I could not more pleased with our entire experience. Jeremy arrived right on time for our prescheduled appointment to provide a quote. He was highly knowledgeable and very personable. We were thrilled with the very reasonable pricing! We were also elated when he called later that afternoon to schedule our tree removal for that same day! Their team of six, strategically and precisely removed our over 100 foot tree. It was so amazing to watch their precision, as it was orchestrated with such precise calibration. The neighborhood was also in awe, and several of our neighbors stopped by to ask me for their contact information to also have work done on their trees! What an awesome experience, and I will also add, that the crew they sent to remove the tree, was 6 of the nicest people ever!!! We even invited them to come back to go fishing in their off time! We highly recommend Unlimbited for their outstanding tree service, and super nice people!!! read more

One of the most bizarre business transactions I've ever had. It started out great. A bonded tree expert came to the house gave us a very fair price and they were able to do the work the same week. Work was done, very satisfactorily until the end. There were some tire tracks on the front lawn from the crew's heavy truck. While it was not in the contract to fix the lawn, the crew foreman said "we'll be back next week to fix that" "Great", I said. I wrote a check for 80% of the total as agreed upon. We had a snow storm the next day so it was hard to see if the work was done properly. About a week went by and I got a call from the business office. I said I had not seen the crew return and would like to have that done before paying my balance. I then got an email that said a manager would be out to look at my property, wait to hear from us. About 3 weeks passed. We had more snow and we weather, so I thought the company may be waiting to finish. I waited a little longer because my last communication with the company said I would be hearing from them. Then, suddenly I get an email from the salesman telling me because of my unpaid balance, I had 24 hours to pay or they would take me to court. I was told that the foreman from the crew had no authority to speak for the company and they would not be fixing any tire marks. WHAT? I had been waiting to hear from the company, as instructed by them. I had no intention of not paying or even thinking about it. I expressed this displeasure with the business practices paid my bill, and never heard from the company again. The work was done well and quickly, but the business practices leave a lot to be desired. read more

They were in and out in about 1 hr, 45 minutes. They were very professional and cleaned up every bit of leaves and branches. I can't stop bragging about this company. I am very happy with the service that Unlimited Tree Service provided. Josh was great and called back very quickly. Gave a competitive price for a huge pine tree that had to go out of my back yard. We had several trees removed and were happy with the estimate, but sometimes the least expensive route is not the best. After they finished the yard was severely damaged with holes and bare spots. This company was beyond unprofessional, I recently called around to a number of local companies in the area and was stunned by these results. All of the other companies including the one I hired, came out and provided me with a straightforward and complete estimate. This one did not, when the estimator came out he offended me within the first two minutes by telling me to get everyone elses price and then he will beat it by $100.00. WHAT, how shady is this. I let him finish his speal and requested he send me a written estimate with his own price as everyone else had. Two days later he called and asked if I got my other prices and what they were so that he could beat them. I told him I did not have the other prices yet just to get him off the phone. Another two days later he called again and this time he started badmouthing other local companies, not even knowing which ones I had called. I told him at this point that I was not interested in his services and thanks anyway. The following day a crew of workers showed up at my house with the gentleman (a term I use very lightly for lack of a better term for him) claiming they were "in the area" and if I went with them they would do the work immediately and once again for $100 less then the other companies. Granted I had still never disclosed the other companies prices. I said no thank you and asked them to not return. Within an hour the original estimator again called my home and asked what the problem was and why I would not allow his crews to get started. I rather rudely this time explained if he called or came to my home again I would call the police and report him to the authorities. I am so overwhelmed by this whole situation that I feel I need to let as many people as possible know what shady people are out there and for them to beware. All of the other companies I called were professional and curteous, they gave me their prices and let me decide for myself, this is a right any homeowner should have. Isn't that why companies provide estimates to give the homeowner the right to choose! How unprofessional can you get! read more

We contacted the office of "Un Limb ited" Tree Service Inc." Thursday April 20, 2017 to have a quote given for removing a dead tree and possibly trimming some other trees. They responded quickly and professionally by arranging an appointment with their Sales Representative Jeremy Levee for the next day Friday April 21st. Mr. Levee arrived promptly at the arranged time. We walked the property to see the dead tree and the others that needed trimming. His quoted price was very reasonable for the work needed and even more impressive was the scheduling of the work for the morning of Monday April 24th. A five man crew arrived early to the agree time and after a brief discussion of the work to be done with Israel the crew foreman, Mr. Levee also showed up to assure there was no misunderstanding about the project. Israel and crew worked swiftly and efficiently. They were polite, professional, and respectful of our property. At the end of the job, they made sure we were satisfied with the work performed. They left the wood wanted for firewood and cleaned and raked the yard to remove any unwanted branches and twigs.
