The plumbing company left a mess, damaging our tree, crushing bushes, and leaving big pile of dirt in the yard. We called Ridley's. They came out promptly for an estimate, and once we said yes, they came out promptly and did an amazing job. They did so well that our neighbor was watching them work and hired them on the spot to do some grading in his yard. For the grass, they offered us the option of doing sod or seed. We went with the seed, so the (after) picture just shows the straw, but we anticipate having a beautiful lawn next summer. They were highly professional, worked hard, and simply got the job done as it should be done. I told him and asked him to come back and complete the job and he said it's normal for the weeds to come back and that a lot of his customers have him weed on a monthly basis... maybe a weed here or there, but I paid well for weeding and mulching to eradicate weeds and this was not our arrangement. Did not seem to understand that to keep weeds from growing back, he should have put down weed mat or sprayed - he did not do either and did not raise either as 'extra'. So, $300 for these areas and 2 weeks later it looks like my yard bed is heading back to where we started. Spraying here and there is reasonable as a homeowner, but as a landscaping company, I expected better service and more knowledge. He told me he did his job well and isn't coming back. I wanted to give a chance for someone to come back and correct, but he said no, so I want to leave an honest review for other yelp users looking for a similar project.

They removed the cover , saw the pump motor worked and checked to see the cartridges in the filter system, I was told they sweep a little. The whole process took 1 1/2!hrs. Need less to say the pool water was terrible and smelled. They said the put some shock in. First, the filtration system was not cleaning at all so I , put in an over amount of shock. It did take the smell away but still was not clean. Had my son recheck both top skimmers and found a plug was left so the water could not flow to the filter. Now after a few weeks I was able to get the cloudiness out of most of the water. Shock, the cleaning jets on the pool wall still had the plugs in them. So total plugs never removed were 6. No wonder I could never get the water clear. I paid a total of $575 because of my in-ground cleaning system , which could not work properly until I removed all the 6 plugs, which should have been done when they opened it. I was totally surprised this morning with a text from the owner of BMA pools. He had just come back from vacation and just read my text to him. He apologized for any of my inconvenience and sent me a refund of $200. If you ever get a company to service your pool , please ask how much time they will spend doing so and how much real experience the worker have doing your pool. E

We had him…read moredo some drainage work, which takes some expertise; you have to understand water run-off and swales and such. He came and gave me a very reasonable estimate in mid-Summer. I then waited until September for him to do the work (best grass growing season). He was very communicative in scheduling when to come, and any additional minor work that I thought of during the wait. Once at our home his crew went to work immediately, taking a better look at the conditions, slopes, drainage, etc. He adjusted what work he did at that time and his crew finished the work, plus some minor stuff I also asked him to do, within just a few hours. His crew cleaned up all of their mess when they were done (not much, as one concern of mine was driving a Bobcat through my yard to get to the work area, but they didn't have to do that, and used a smaller machine which left no footprint). Highly recommended. I got 1-2 other estimates and they were all a bit higher in price and included a bit more work than what I thought needed to be done to cure our drainage problem.
