They had to access my property to do the work and completely disrespected my property. The yard is torn up and they damaged one of my trees. They tore down sections of the fence and left them on our property, even though the fence technically belongs to the neighbors who had the work done. They removed 2 trees. I had 4 trees removed by another company and didn't have any of these issues. They laid down boards underneath where the crane would have to drive and you can't even tell an enormous crane had driven there. They didn't have to remove any of my fencing to do the work in my fenced-in backyard. Anyway all I'm saying is there are other companies out there who will be more respectful to your (and your neighbors) property.

I recently requested several price estimates for a tree removal in our backyard. With the exception…read moreof Davey, all other company estimates were around $2000 to remove the tree in question. The estimator for Davey; Robert Voneida took a glance at the tree and quoted me $15,000 for removal and stump grinding. Given the competing quotes for the same service, the estimate from Davey was agreigios and wreaked of price gouging. For anyone considering working with Davey, please take the time to get multiple estimates for your project. It was impossible to to calculate or remotely justify how this one company was doing anything that warranted a price estimate over 8 times greater than competing companies with the same insurance and arborist license. I would not consider working with Davey for any future business.

When evaluating my trees, they clearly explained which ones needed deadwood removal and which ones were fine at the time. They also had to remove one tree from my front yard, and they took the time to explain in detail why removal was necessary. I recently worked with Rodney, and he was great about discussing the details of the job and explaining his recommendations. He is obviously very knowledgeable about trees and clearly cares deeply about his work. I especially appreciated that he was there with the crew on the day they removed the deadwood and walked me through what they were doing. Of all the companies I contacted, Green Vista also seemed to have the most appropriate equipment for the job. Several other companies weren't confident they could get their lift into my backyard. Green Vista was able to do it, and they laid down appropriate tracking and ground protection to make sure there was no damage to my lawn. In one case, I found two dead branches that weren't visible from my side of the property. Rodney and the team came back quickly and took care of them, which I really appreciated. I know I'll be using Green Vista again in the future. Their pricing is excellent considering they have a certified arborist involved, and most importantly, they genuinely seem to care about the health of the trees rather than trying to upsell you. Highly recommended.
