American Tree service came in at $200 below the other bid. It took a bit but they came out today and removed the massive limb safely. They quickly dispatched all of the limbs into tiny chips. They also trimmed off everything I requested. They also cleaned up all the mess including the all the tiny branches, raked and used a blower to clean off all of the saw dust. They had to access my property to do the work and completely disrespected my property. The yard is torn up and they damaged one of my trees. They tore down sections of the fence and left them on our property, even though the fence technically belongs to the neighbors who had the work done. They removed 2 trees. I had 4 trees removed by another company and didn't have any of these issues. They laid down boards underneath where the crane would have to drive and you can't even tell an enormous crane had driven there. They didn't have to remove any of my fencing to do the work in my fenced-in backyard. Anyway all I'm saying is there are other companies out there who will be more respectful to your (and your neighbors) property.
