I am sorry to say that my experience with Lazo landscaping company was extremely disappointing. Their customer service was poor, their response time was lacking, and the quality of work on my yard grading project was subpar. Firstly, their customer service was simply unacceptable. They were unresponsive to my calls and emails after receiving payment. I had to constantly follow up with them, and even then, their responses were often delayed and inadequate and they never returned to correct the grading issues. The issues were pointed out the day the job was finished, and they never corrected anything. As a paying customer, I expect better communication and respect. Lastly, the quality of work on my yard grading project was very disappointing. They did not properly grade the yard, which led to poor drainage and water pooling in certain areas. When I contacted them to address the issue, they were unresponsive and unhelpful. They informed me for weeks that they would return, and no one showed up or contacted me. I now must hire another company to fix the work they did. Overall, I would not recommend this landscaping company to anyone. I specifically worked with Diego G. who communicated well up until they received my payment. Their poor customer service, lack of response, and poor quality of work are unacceptable, and I would caution anyone considering working with them to look elsewhere. STAY AWAY. I think people read the Google reviews, but BE AWARE. I have NEVER had an issue like I have had with the company and Jose Lazo. It's been months, and nothing has been done after my bushes died. I spent close to $100k!!!!! Yes, that's a lot of money!!! My sister used a local landscape company and paid a similar amount to what I paid never had a problem, never ever had to call customer service for issues. They did the job, and there was no problem. I've called hundreds of times for them to fix the dead trees and bushes that they planted in my yard. I keep getting excuses. No one's responding. I hear them say my phone's broken or we'll get to you next week. I get responses like, I will be there and no one ever shows up, or I don't get a response. It's ridiculous. It's going to get to the point where I will have to buy the trees and plant them myself. The only way I've ever gotten anybody to work for me there and respond to me was when I put a bad review. This is ridiculous. I'm so upset. I'd like to know if there's anything I can do based on this review to get it done, please. read more

I was in search of a Landscaping business that would not only offer a reasonable price but excellent service. After reviewing several bids to cut down my tree in the backyard, Lazo Landscaping offered the best price. The work involved cutting the tree limbs, the trunk, grinding the trunk stump, repaving the area that was impacted by the tree, and removal. I was pleasantly surprised with the extra mile that was taken provide superb, finished work in a reasonable amount of time. The results were outstanding, the service was impeccable, and the workers were courteous and respectable. I needed a wooded portion of our property to be cleared out in preparation for having my back yard fenced in. There was also an old shed that was buried in overgrown vines and foliage. Jose Lazo provided me with a very fair quote for the demolition and we scheduled the work. Lazo's crew showed up promptly at 7 am with all of the equipment on the morning of the demo. They took care to protect my lawn from truck and equipment tires. By 4:30 pm the job was complete! They worked dilligently, carefully and efficiently. I would like to start off by saying Mr.Jose was very kind & polite and to the point as to what I wanted as a customer. He quickly surveyed my front yard and then quoted a price I thought was reasonable. He guys quickly arrived @ my home started to go to work immediately which took less than 6 hours. This company delivers! I had a 70ft dead ash tree in the back of my property. I called and Diego came out gave me a good price and to my surprise said it could be done within a weeks time. The other companies I called wouldnt have been able to come out for a month or even longer, some were even hesitant that the job could be done, not something you want to hear from and "expert". I have used Lazo Landscaping for various projects for the past seven years. In addition to regular annual landscaping services, The company has installed a patio, stone stairs, two large retaining walls and a stone walkway. The latest project was to replace our deck. Lazo landscaping replaced to decks for us. The did a great job from start to finish. The project manager was excellent, we had a design in mind which he helped us fine tune . He was very responsive to any question that came up during construction. The construction teams from demo to finish were great. The workers where very detailed oriented with their work. Lazo Landscaping did a fantastic job on transforming our backyard. They planted numerous privacy hedges for us along with pine trees, deep watering spikes and redid our drip system. They were excellent at communication and kept us informed at every step of the process. They showed up on time each day and cleaned up after themselves when they left. My wife and I are extremely happy with the retaining wall they built by our pool. We are only sorry we didn't do it sooner. The crew showed up and went to work tearing out an old wall, before I knew it the new wall was taking shape. They cleaned up all the debris even putting in grass seed in the tracks left by their truck because the ground was wet. They finished in two days and all we have received is compliments on how great the wall looks. read more

This company did an OUTSTANDING job removing our 60+ year old maple and pine trees. They were prompt, professional and never stopped til everything was cleaned up. They just finished our neighbors who had a giant poplar tree fall across 3 yards. Which then led to removing 2 more trees in danger of falling. We would highly recommend this company. read more
