Today is was to remove a huge tree that was taken down by storm. We have had our eyes on the tree for years. It hung dangerously over the expressway and over the utility wires. BGE and MD State Highway refused to address the concern. Well last month Mother Nature took control and took the tree down along with all the wires and broached the I-83 retaining wall. The A-AAA crew that removed the tree and debris was on time and courteous as usual. All that was contacted was completed to our satisfaction. We still have several large trees in our yard. We (unfortunately) anticipate asking for A-AAA services for years to come. It's a good and dependable company.

Jose came out right away to provide an estimate (which was more than reasonable) and took time to carefully explain which parts of the tree he would be trimming back and the reason for each cut. I needed a very tall elm tree trimmed in my rear yard. Even though it is impossible to use a basket truck to reach the tree because of the tree's location off of my alley, the team had no problem climbing the tree and avoiding all power and internet lines. I gave her my availability to accommodate an in-person estimate which was a 4 hour window from 11am-3pm. She stated she would call me in the morning to advise a more precise time. At 1:30pm, I CALLED THEM and again the same 'I-wish-I-was-on-another-planet' phone reception... and then offered to come out AT 3pm. NOPE. If the phone etiquette matches the service? HARD PASS.

I called 4 other companies and only one of those showed up along with American Tree Service. I explained what I wanted and I got bids from both. American Tree service came in at $200 below the other bid. It took a bit but they came out today and removed the massive limb safely. They quickly dispatched all of the limbs into tiny chips. They also trimmed off everything I requested. They also cleaned up all the mess including the all the tiny branches, raked and used a blower to clean off all of the saw dust. Brian, the person manages the work came over have a look at the warehouse and gave us reasonable quote in comparison to 4 other companies in the area. The biggest issue we had was of scheduling because we decided in hurry that we need to move out of our area and taht made it hard to find the rigging company to un-install our platform and pilot equipment. However, BBRS were really came to rescue with good plan and reasonable prices. On the day of move, they brought their own equipment such as forklifts and other essential tools.
