I appreciated how prompt Juan was in his communication, and he went back and forth with me several times to discuss approach and provide numerous options. I was especially impressed that he shared a mock photo showing how the new plants would look in my space, this was super helpful in really visualizing what the landscaping would look like and help me make a decision. We also had him do some power washing of concrete areas and a window well, and in the words of my husband these came out "hilariously clean". JC's landscaping is fantastic. I have a small yard that needed some love and care. I reached out to a few different landscaping companies, and JC's stood out from the start. Before beginning the project, I met with Juan who came out in person to check out my yard and talk through ideas for the space. Juan then followed up with a detailed quote that included itemized pricing for the various plants, mulch and labor. I had few follow up questions, which Juan fully and promptly answered. The following week, Juan and his team came out to complete the work. They did a great job weeding and preparing the space for planting. Before Juan put in the new plants, he gave me an opportunity to check out the placement of everything. A couple of hours later and my yard was transformed! The contractor hired by Ajax Landscaping did a good job but never came back to correct some issues. Juan left my property a mess. he left sand on my grass in a bag and told me I had to get it up myself. i am a women and cannot lift tons of sand. He charged me $900 for the sand. When he finally came back to get the sand up and look at the pavers, he said he had to reschedule the job after waiting for over 4 months. He is very conceited person that want you to beg for his services. I have had better landscapers. I will not use this service again. Also he does not want to use a contract. is this business even legal? I purchased 3 times more supplies than I needed. signed, disappointed and dissatisfied customer. what a joke! Juan and his team rescued our garden! We live in a rowhouse in Capitol Hill, DC and weeds were our biggest problem. Not only did they solve that issue, but they planted a hedge of beautiful trees that provide shade and privacy. They come on a regular basis to clean up, plant new flowers, and general maintenance but also helped design areas. They're always punctual and professional.
