Miguel was so helpful! I sent a picture of what Id like. He recreated it exactly. He quoted me very reasonably and was quick to respond. He was very professional and his team was too! The job was done quickly & his product for landscaping are nice. I got a very large tree stump removed as well. He also gives great recommendations on your project too. Metallurgy Landscaping stood out immediately for responsiveness and follow-through. They were cost-competitive, but more importantly, they engaged on the design--offering ideas, suggesting smart alternatives, and keeping things practical rather than expensive for the sake of it. Work included new sod (matched appropriately to sun exposure), replacing railroad ties, and trimming trees that were getting too close to power lines. They showed up when they said they would, did solid work, and were consistently professional and kind. What I valued most was their transparency. For smaller pieces where results could vary, they set expectations clearly and didn't overpromise--they just worked the problem and delivered. Reliable, thoughtful, and easy to work with. A great combination of quality and value. Would hire again. read more

Metallurgy Landscaping - Front lawn: beautified, and new sod planted; porch painted and the whole place looking better - Landscaping Near Me - Silver Spring, Maryland

Miguel and his assistant did an awesome job of removing the Ivy from my house! They communicated well (even though their english seemed limited), they arrived on time and they completed the job UNDER the time initially estimated. The clean-up was good too. Overall the service was excellent...I would like to also add how professional and friendly they were. I highly recommend them and I look forward to doing business with them again in the future. Take care guys, and thanks again... Blessings! read more

I was disappointed that the company never showed up for the job. They gave me an estimate and a date to begin the work, then didn't show up. They didn't call me to let me know they were cancelling. No communication. Perhaps the job was too small. I'm sure they do nice work based on their reviews but I didn't get a chance to experience that. The job: installing sod on a very small section of land read more

His assistant was harassing.as stated on the original Asst didn't finish triming & Pickup! I had to pick the remains he left...he sent me texts after they left. The owner didn't want to speak .. on this harassing.. from his asst .. Ignored it. I see .. the responsibility is on you .. mistreating your new customer. 1st time. Here. This is upsetting... He even asked which window is my bedroom . This is Out of Line.. behavior... That's why it's free . I didn't report your asst . But never come to my home again or this area.! read more

We ended up going with another contractor for our fencing needs, but Metallurgy came out to give us a free estimate and were very nice. 1 star docked for communication. Every time we talked there was a follow up delay. It took over a week for a fence estimate (which included Christmas and the weekend) and there weren't drawings, just a "here's the cost..." text. Super nice guys though, I'm still considering contacting them again for our tree needs down the road. read more

Looks like these guys are still at it. Other customers are being ripped off by them too. I have yet to receive my refund from them. Buyer beware. read more

They contracted to do my work and I have it in writing what is agreed upon. They emailed and said they were done and the back was no longer included. Threatened legal action and would not finish job. Be very careful with this company. I am not at all confused. If the cost of the project was more than originally thought and you would have come to me and said that the scope was bigger than originally anticipated I would have renegotiated. Stopping work and telling me you were done and threatening me is not the way to do business young man. I am paying you in full because it will cost me more than the price to fight you in small claims court even though I have emails from YOU that clearly states the backyard was included read more

Very prompt with estimate appointments and wore masks when they needed to be in close contact to communicate. Job was done in 3 days. Miguel and Edwin were very receptive to my ideas and everything turned out the way we wanted. Price was the best given out of a few people we inquired in the area. Highly recommend! read more

Asked for a quote, and gave detail with photos to make it easy to understand. Was told they were pretty busy so they would do a landscaping quote from photos!?!? I know immediately that is going to be inaccurate but high enough to cover for any errors. Like a real estate price by someone that doesn't want to sell "I don't want to do this but if you are stupid enough to throw money my way..." kind of thing. Not impressed, but let's see what they say... They promised a quote by a Tuesday, I reminded them three days later they STILL owed me a quote, and they never got back to me either way. Wrote them off. This hits a pet peeve of mine. I get people can be buried in work or life happens (traffic stalls quote guy, etc). But COMMUNICATE those issues and do your best. Nobody is so busy they can't type a one sentence status saying "we didn't forget about you, we are just swamped, had death in the family, etc". Being completely non-responsive is not acceptable, especially for big-ticket work packages. And wasting my time is going to get called out. read more

Miguel and his team were amazing! Usually don't leave glowingly positive reviews, but they definitely deserve it. They took a mess of our house and transformed it beyond what we could have expected. Their quote was the best from several contractors and completed the job in two days. The pictures speak for themselves. read more

Excellent response time to come and take care of our lawn. Our last company just stopped coming and did not return any calls. This company may not return your calls quickly BUT they will take care of your lawn quickly! You know summer is VERY BUSY. But they will get back with you - be patient - it is worth the wait and the time sometimes necessary to understand any language communication issues. Great company, hard workers, very fair in pricing. Immediately set up lawn cutting every 2 weeks. Highly recommend! read more
