This is my second time working with Green Vista, and I continue to be impressed with their service…read more What I really appreciate is how honest and upfront they are. When evaluating my trees, they clearly explained which ones needed deadwood removal and which ones were fine at the time. They also had to remove one tree from my front yard, and they took the time to explain in detail why removal was necessary. I recently worked with Rodney, and he was great about discussing the details of the job and explaining his recommendations. He is obviously very knowledgeable about trees and clearly cares deeply about his work. I especially appreciated that he was there with the crew on the day they removed the deadwood and walked me through what they were doing. Of all the companies I contacted, Green Vista also seemed to have the most appropriate equipment for the job. Several other companies weren't confident they could get their lift into my backyard. Green Vista was able to do it, and they laid down appropriate tracking and ground protection to make sure there was no damage to my lawn. In one case, I found two dead branches that weren't visible from my side of the property. Rodney and the team came back quickly and took care of them, which I really appreciated. I know I'll be using Green Vista again in the future. Their pricing is excellent considering they have a certified arborist involved, and most importantly, they genuinely seem to care about the health of the trees rather than trying to upsell you. Highly recommended.

Early Wednesday morning they had an arborist at the house, dispatched a large crew and a massive crane. They spent 7 hours carefully removing the tree, lifting huge pieces of it over our neighbor's house (thank you, good neighbors!), ground the small and medium branches, and stacked the very large trunk sections on the street. On Thursday they picked up all of the large sections and hauled them away. By 5pm the tree was gone and contractors were able to start doing a temporary repair of the large holes in our garage roof. This was a traumatic experience that was totally unexpected. This was a seemingly healthy tree that just tipped over without warning. Anyone can imagine how it feels to have a huge tree laying on your house. The support from JL Tree's Service went a long way toward making us feel like we were making progress on getting the mess resolved. We have used JL before and always thought they did good work at a fair price. Their response here was exceptional.

He walked the premise with me, took his time to explain and make suggestions. I had this what I called a multi trunk maple tree and several other trees that were growing for years without maintenance, and the branches were reaching all the way back to my back deck, and completely shading my backyard. We ended up deciding to cut the offending overhanging branches of the maple tree, and taking branches off the other tree and on the tree that was blocking my attic fan. Scott and his crew come over early in the morning and worked thru the day. I spend some time watching and talking with Scott as he and his crew worked, and I could see these were a well seasoned experience crew with the right equipment, tools and safety equipment; especially for the tree climber. Just watching them work I was impressed. The way they moved the ropes, the ease in which they threw some sort of bob line into the trees with ease and accuracy, and how they segmented the cuts of the tree branches and safely roped them down I was impressed. Very polite and friendly crew, unfortunately I did not speak Spanish where our conversation would of been more in depth. They brought in their heavy equipment as needed, cherry picker truck, shredder, dump trucks. Clean up was exceptional, once they were done it looked as if they were never there. Now I have no more tree branches blocking the sunlight in my back yard. Great Work, Scott makes it happens and his crew is exceptional. I highly recommend them to others that are in the Northern Virginia area that needs tree work done.
