Our Community needed to address some very large trees at the rear of our property. There is no real…read moreeasy access due to location. We collected (4) quotes and were given different options from each one. Out of the (4) Heart of Wood came in with the overall best price and the best options. I met with Thomas and immediately knew I was working with someone that knew what they were doing. He looked over the trees and recommended we remove (2) and just trim one up. He was straight forward on our options. He provided several based on what we wanted to spend on the project. His company offered tree removing with no heavy equipment and no disturbance to the property which was exactly what we were looking for this in this project. Thomas had his crew on-site within a week after we made our decision (even with the Thanksgiving holiday). His Crew was amazing, if not for the sounds of chain-saws I would not have even known they were cutting down huge trees with branches extending everywhere. Then Jose Luis called within 30 minutes to schedule a time to provide an estimate. He said that Paul, the operations guy, was actually in DC and could do the job in the afternoon if everything worked out. Paul stopped by and while we all agreed on the price, he couldn't do the work because being in DC we had to ask our neighbors to move their cars. Then the next day, Saturday morning at 9 AM Paul and his partner were at the house. Their machine is like Tesla's Model X of grinders. In 1.5 hours, they got rid of a tree stump that had a circumference of 81 inches. Additionally, Jose Luis stopped by to see how everything was going. I also appreciated Paul's concern for the environment, as we talked about options for replacing the tree that was originally there. Highly recommend them. they are professional, responsive, and environmentally conscious.
