Honestly can't thank Luis and his team enough. After this intense summer, the lawn was a mess. I knew I'd have to do a bit maintenance job in the fall and spring. I saw the temperatures dip and I bought a dethatcher to get to work. I set this weekend aside to do the work. I scheduled another company to come do the aeration. I spent Friday afternoon and Saturday morning mowing low and dethatching. At 2:30, the person supposed to do the aeration told me their machine broke. It was scheduled to rain at 4pm so I was a little frantic. Luis was able to fit me in at 4:20 and his team got to work. Luckily the rain held off. As they were aerating, I was overseeding lol. Started to drizzle as we were all finishing up. I managed to lay down some fertilizer just before the rain intensified. I can't thank Luis enough for doing such a last min job and considering it was just to aerate. They drove all the way from laurel just to help me out. More than the work itself, I really speak to the kindness he showed. Even when he arrived, we had a very nice conversation and it was just overall a nice exchange. Response time was good, the landscaping work was good, however we had a disagreement about whether the job was finished. Basically I thought they were going to do more work for the price as how I saw it written in the contract. Luis disagreed. Everything went well and in record time. The original estimate included trimming of two large hollies and two cherry laurel hedge trims and thinning plus one overgrown yew. Before the final quote was provided, I added mulching of two specific areas and removal of a huge and heavy amount of debris left by a previous (non-Yelp) contractor. Luis suggested an alternate solution for the other contractor's debris that worked out beautifully and saved me the additional expense of having him deliver it to the county recycling center. Luis participated in the work and actively supervised and made suggestions to his team for visually appealing adjustments. He and his two-man team performed the work exactly to specifications, cleaned up the new tree and shrubbery debris and left all the areas pristine. I couldn't be more pleased, and I definitely will call him again for future needs. read more

He provided a competitive quote and also provided recommendations for other work that I had not considered, such as replenishing the gravel stones in the front and back. Contacted Dubon's Sunday morning and he came out that afternoon to look at cutting trees that were hitting the house. The cost was reasonable for cutting a tree down and removing branches from 3 other trees. We scheduled for the next day. Luis and his team were prompt and efficient. I read about Luis and his company Dubon Renovation on a neighborhood ListServ. He got rave reviews from several neighbors. One neighbor had mentioned about fence repair that Luis had done. I needed a wooden gate replaced and some minor fence repair done. I texted on a Sunday and he came right over, made his assessment, and gave me a price. it was a little more than I expected, but it's hard to find a Fence company who will come out for these smaller jobs. Luis and his small crew came exactly on time with all of the supplies in his truck and got right to work. He completed his work in just a few hours, did a fine job and I was very pleased with his competence, and his work ethic.
