Great first experience, awful second experience, and terrible customer service. I booked this company again because my first cleaning was excellent. Unfortunately, my second experience was the complete opposite. The appointment started with confusion regarding the arrival and the scope of the cleaning. Shortly after starting, the cleaner informed me that her vacuum was not working and asked to use my personal vacuum cleaner instead. Despite spending nearly two hours in the apartment, the quality of the cleaning was extremely disappointing. Windows were not cleaned, mirrors were left streaky, dust and debris remained, visible spots were still present on the floors, and none of the trash bins--including the bathroom trash bin--were emptied. Overall, it appeared that only the most visible surfaces had been wiped down. To make matters worse, I was later contacted about an additional pet fee because the cleaner reported that I have a dog. No dog was present during the cleaning. My dog has been staying elsewhere, so the only indication that I own a dog would have been a dog crate and water bowl in the apartment. When I contacted customer service, I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously. Rather than trying to understand the quality concerns, the response focused on explaining why the experience occurred and what I should have done differently. My first experience was genuinely excellent, which makes this even more disappointing. Based on the quality of the cleaning and, most importantly, the way the concerns were handled by the company afterward, I will not be using this company again. read more

Beware, and take head to the negative reviews listed, I wish I did. I hired them because I was I'll before the holidays and my normal cleaners were booked. I paid for a deep cleaning and didn't event receive a standard cleaning as they left dirt, stains and debri all through my home. They didn't mop ( the same hair/ dirt is still where it was), and they initially tried to say they were finished without vacuuming the living room, or wiping the dirt or any stains from my kitchen counters. Then, as I politely said umm I think we have a misscommunication about what is included in a cleaning (even though they have a checklist on their site) the cleaners on-site argued me down. I was calling customer service while on-site as well. They wanted to send the same cleaners back hours later, but these were the same people that left me house in that condition and then wanted to act like the weren't aware of all the things left undone. It was such a stressful experience, I was already I'll and requested the service for additional help. I'm really just processing it a few days later, and as I am still finding areas that were not serviced (my office floor was not vacuumed, and guest bathroom has the same debris on the floor as from before they came). I'm grateful for the attempt, but please don't charge hundreds of dollars and not deliver the service. If I could rate this company a -0 I would. I scheduled a move out cleaning on 8/21/21 for $360. Post scheduling I received numerous text messages confirming my 8/21/21 date with an arrival time of 10am. On the date which is today, I arrive at my former home at 9:45. At 10:18 I called the company and asked where the maids were. Because in their ad it clearly states if they are going to be late they will contact you. But if you decide to cancel they will charge you a $50 fee. The receptionist Alicia was very accommodating and very helpful. But management/ owner Kelsey is TRASH!! SHE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT HER CUSTOMERS. the maids in particular didn't even call to tell the company that they weren't going to come to the booking. How I know this to be true is because when I called, Alicia said she was going to call the maids to see what their ETA was so she could call me back. 20 minutes later I received a call stating the maid will not be coming because she had a family emergency. And then I wasn't offered any type of accommodations it was only when I started to go bat shit I was helped; but was I really helped? because I wound up coming out an additional $100 for services from another company And I was left to scramble to find a same day cleaning service. Alicia helped with this process. It was at this point Alicia explained that she was a secretary for both cleaning companies which I found to be a little bit unsettling to say the least. I was given a 20% discount, but then she said since I had a basement and I wanted that cleaned it was going to be an additional $80 so the 20% did not make a bit of difference because I wound up paying $460 for my home to be cleaned.. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS YOU WILL REGRET IT. When you are servicing public especially in service like this you should account for people calling out .. and have contingencies in place to accommodate your customers so you do not lose business/ ruin your reputation! JUST THROW THE WHOLE DAMN COMPANY AWAY. read more

I made the mistake of using this cleaning service when I couldn't schedule my regular school cleaners in time. At first all seemed well because I was able to get a quote and get an appointment scheduled within 24 hours. I requested a deep cleaning service and then what are the cleaners were here I received a phone call that I needed to change my service to a "heavy duty" deep clean. I thought I was on since I wouldn't consider my house to be in such disarray but I went ahead with it expecting a really thorough cleaning. After the service, I can tell you there's nothing heavy duty about it, they barely did a regular cleaning at best. My regular scheduled cleaners only charge me $190 for a regular cleaning and they leave my house in much better shape than this "heavy duty" deep clean. And guess how much a heavy duty deep clean costs you might ask... upwards of $400! When I called to complain the best they could do was offer $95 off that service which is completely unacceptable considering the state my house was left in. Save your money and go elsewhere there are much cheaper and better options in the area. read more

I have used various cleaning services over the years and although I've been pleased with them, there were times where it became hard to schedule them or their availability didn't work out with mine. Or they began to slack on details over time. So I started looking for a new company last week and came across Maids 2 Mop via Google. They only had about 20 reviews which concerned me but all the reviews were RAVING over them! so I took a chance. I am SOOOO glad I did! I love that you can book your cleaning directly through their site with their updated calendar, and add any notes you want for your service. I got a deep cleaning for my 5 bdrm/3 bath two level house. My appointment window was 8-10am and they arrived at 8am on the dot, I received a call just minutes before saying they were en route. Their timeliness impressed me instantly. Fabiola and another woman came in, we went over the services I wanted, she asked me was there anything in particular i wanted them to focus on, etc. They literally worked from 8am until almost 2:30pm and when they were done there was NOTHING that they left untouched! The entire house was spotless, even things that my pasts cleaning services forgot. I was so impressed. A standout was when Fabiola askked if I had a ladder or step stool that she could use to get on a high wall to clean a mirror that is on a high wall in my foyer entryway. She literally got up and scaled the wall to get the mirror clean. This was something I've wanted done FOREVER but the other cleaning services never did it. Her takinghat initiative really made me say wow! Additionally, she was on her knees scrubbing and getting areas I didn't even know were dirty LOL. By the time they left I was completely sold. My partner and I decided that Fabiola and her partner deserved a stellar tip so we did. I have now signed up as a mothly customer and will be using them going forward! Let me also add that their customer service department is awesome. They are easily accessible by email, and phone. I found Maids 2 Mop DMV through the Next Door app. I have now had 3 standard cleaning services from Maids 2 Mop DMV and have been very happy with the service. The cleaner is very nice and arrives at about the same time each time, close to the earlier time in the range given. I like how clean my place is after each service. The follow-up from the company to make sure that things are going well is a great touch. I recommend the company highly. read more
