Great service, friendly staff, responsive, and accommodating to custom cleaning needs.

We were very displeased with the service we received from Ecoverde and will not use them again. They texted us a question while their cleaner was in the house; we responded immediately, and they never replied. As a result, they did not clean the first level of our home, because they wanted to charge extra for a "basement." A basement is underground -- ours is not. Not only did they completely skip one full level of the home, they still charged us for the total square footage of the entire house AND tried to overcharge us for extra services we clearly stated we did NOT want. This was a deeply disappointing experience from start to finish, and they have absolutely lost us as customers. read more

Ixsa and Jacky are amazing! They were on time, kind and thorough. I will definitely be booking with them again!

Maria did a fantastic job with our home, especially in our master bathroom which had lots of stubborn stains. Will be booking another cleaning in the future! read more

Cancelled on me twice in one week. First time they texted me a couple of hours in advance, saying the cleaner had an emergency. OK, fair enough, they quickly rescheduled me for the weekend through a text message, but apparently forgot to send me a confirmation email (and maybe forgot to actually schedule me?) Then they never showed up on the weekend, this time without any warning whatsoever. After I contacted them to find out if they were going to show up, they asked to reschedule again. No way. read more

Docking a star because a few days before Ecoverde were scheduled to clean, they advised us that they unfortunately double booked us, and were not able to come in on that scheduled day at all. They did try to reschedule for another day, but due an upcoming celebratory event, we needed it done on that scheduled day. This was a bit of an inconvenience, so we had to find another cleaning service. read more

Maria cleaned our home today and left it looking and feeling great! We are so grateful!

Excellent cleaning service. I liked several things a lot about Ecoverde, in addition to the great job they do cleaning: *Easy to book appointments on short notice. This is really useful to me. I did some dogsitting and soon realized I'd want a professional cleaning afterwards. Many other services don't have availability on short notice - but I've found Ecoverde does! *Easy to use website. Very simple to schedule an an appointment online through the website. They helpfully send a reminder a few days before as well. *They don't bombard you with messages trying to get you to book another appointment. Their work speaks for itself and you will want to book your own next appointment with them! *I like the cleaning options they offer - deep cleaning, fridge clean, green cleaning products, etc. - it's nice to pick and choose. Every time I've used Ecoverde, I've been very pleased with the work and impressed with how clean they leave things. I highly recommend them! read more

I've been using the service for about two years and they've always done a great job. Today, Andrea cleaned my apartment and she was new to me. She did a wonderful job, just like all the other workers have done. read more

I have been using Ecoverde for almost a decade and have been impressed with the consistency and quality of their services, and most of all the responsive and flexible communication with the customer assistance team. Super friendly, always helpful...Ecoverde has made my life easier and I trust that they will do a great job each time! read more

Really mixed results with this service. On their first visit they broke a luckily relatively new mirror, and the insurance claim for that took forever. We paid for eco products and they were not consistently used. We had multiple conversations with each cleaner (changes each visit) about not using scented products and that if they needed something other than what they had to let us know- and we almost always ended up with a house smelling like fake flowers. We told them not to touch our bed, and yet they kept a doing so. My spouse (who the booking was under) had multiple conversations with the office staff about this and then when she finally cancelled the future cleanings got called and told 'we had no idea there were problems'. In the end, we expected a higher level of service for the amount of money spent, and they were not able to deliver. To be clear, we offered to provide all cleaning products to meet our specific low scent requirements, communicated regularly about what was needed and not needed, and were very patient as we've both cleaned houses before and understand it can take time. I think for people who want a basic clean they're fine. For us, not a fit. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. Andrea came back today for the second time and did an amazing job. Everything is sparkling clean and looks much better than when I do it. She worked very efficiently yet thoroughly and had no problem working around me and my cat. I am so grateful to have found this company and hope I can have Andrea come back again. read more

I just had my townhouse cleaned by Maria and it was lovely. My house feels so clean and fresh. It was my first time having a house cleaning, so I wasn't sure what to expect but she took care of everything and it was a great experience. I look forward to booking with Ecoverde Maids every couple of months to treat myself to a clean house! I love how clean my kitchen is read more

We have booked Ecoverde Maids frequently over the last few years and they always do an excellent job. Our most recent cleaner, Jaqueline, was quick, efficient, and thorough - and a delight! We look forward to booking our next service. read more

I originally booked Ecoverde Maids due to the awesome Yelp reviews, which is why I'm surprised they did such a terrible job. I could've done a better job myself and saved $300. First, they were an hour and a half late and no one would call me back to give me an ETA, despite my calling the call center and them telling me to expect a call. My apartment was almost completely empty. It was a move-out clean. There was no organizing or tidying up necessary - which is why I was surprised the service lasted over five hours (and the bathrooms were barely cleaned). After they left, I noticed the windows were not cleaned (which I paid for) and the bathrooms were only given a once over. There's some mold in the showers and they need to be re-caulked, which obviously I didn't expect the maids to take care of that. But the tiles themselves were not cleaned. Nor was the shower floor. There was still soap scum on it. The faucets weren't cleaned either. The light fixtures weren't dusted. The surfaces weren't wiped down. There was just so much that flat out wasn't cleaned. I sent a cordial email to customer service later that day about the sub-par (which is putting it nicely) cleaning job. I also included pictures in the email of the CLEARLY un-cleaned apartment. The person I spoke with defended the cleaning and refused to offer a re-cleaning or refund. I pushed back, and he eventually offered a re-cleaning almost a week later - AFTER I had to get another company to come in and clean. Mind you - upon seeing the apartment (particularly the bathrooms) the second cleaning company actually said - "You PAID someone to do this?" They were shocked and straight up told me I got ripped off. It took them an hour to clean all the stuff the Ecoverde maids didn't. I declined the re-clean and explained I already had the apartment cleaned by a different company, and was rudely told I would be receiving no refund. After looking through how many of the 5 star reviewers for this company have only one review ever, I'm fairly certain this company creates profiles or has friends/family leave positive reviews. I mean, the service was just so terrible there's no way these reviews are all accurate or honest. EDIT: in regard to the owner's response, I did leave a generous tip. That's the kind of person I am. I hadn't seen the horrible cleaning job yet, but would've probably left a good tip anyway. I'm a sucker (clearly). There is absolutely no exaggeration when I say they were an hour and a half late. The appointment was at 10am, they showed up at literally 11:30. To say that I'm exaggerating is a full-blow lie and an indication of the dishonesty of this company. What wasn't cleaned in the bathroom wasn't mold, it was dirt and grime buildup. Which another cleaning serve cleaned in an hour. Which is why, I already explained, i declined the re-clean. This company is deceptive and untrustworthy. As a small business owner myself, I would never treat my customers this way, especially if I were so clearly in the wrong - which this company is. read more

We had Irene from Ecoverde Maids do a deep cleaning for our house. She did an amazing job, cleaning the basics really well while also cleaning things I hadn't even considered needed cleaning. We have about 1200 square feet of house with a lot of clutter. Now, my house feels so good to live in again! It was a professional job with excellent communication. I can't wait to schedule with them again! read more

I'm a repeat satisfied customer of Ecoverde. They've cleaned my 2B2Br apartment several times, always with fantastic results. Most recently, Maria came and did a thorough clean in 2 hours. She arrived right on time and left the apartment sparkling. I'm a big fan of Ecoverde and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional cleaning service. read more

I've been using Ecoverde for a couple of years now, and don't want my secret to get out. So please don't tell anyone how great this company and its staff is. Maria comes to my house 1ce a month, is nice to my cats (Charlie Slater isn't interested in visitors, but he loooves Maria), and does a fab job every time. Their customer service is very responsive and reliable. Requests and changes are a snap, and they even text you for feedback. Reasonable prices. Their website is kinda clunky and needs an upgrade, but they answer the phone and respond quickly to emails. Highly recommend! read more

This company is so unprofessional, and the staff steals from their clients, I'm a cancer patient and used their service...HUGE MISTAKE, their cleaner stole my shark steamer, I didn't think any of the fact the the cleaner was going in and out! This was a Thursday, Sunday my husband was going to steam clean the kitchen floor, he went to get the steamer, IT WAS GONE...No one has been in my house! The cleaner told her boss she saw it, the issue I have is where it was, she should not have been in that room, I told her not to go into the laundry room! and that is where it was! HERE AGAIN DO NOT HIRE THIS THIEVING COMPANY, AND THE MANAGEMENT THINKS ITS OKAY! read more

Unbelievably inconsiderate and unprofessional. They wasted so much of my time just to keep canceling, it honestly felt like a complete scam. I told them on the phone when i initially booked/confirmed that i havent been staying at my place but i would be there to let them in and provide directions. They rescheduled my initial 5 pm time to 8 pm, which was fine, but then rescheduled the 8 pm to an 8 am to 10 am timeframe the next day. A little annoying since i wasted my time but things happen. Then, after 8 am and after i arrive to my apartment for their services, they texted me to reschedule again. They said there were car issues for the reason of the 2nd and 3rd time they rescheduled, which is fine but they could have had the decency to give me a realistic appointment so i would not waste my time and gas. I asked them to even call me because i really wanted help with cleaning my apartment but they did not pick up the phone or respond to my request to call after their 3rd time rescheduling. They texted that they cancelled and the almost 400 dollar hold on my credit card would be removed, but it is the fact that i relied on the agreed upon times each time and wasted so much time relying on them coming through. read more

I've used Ecoverde for close to 2 years now. There prices are very competitive and the staff s great. Irene is always on time an very dedicated. Our family keeps a relatively clean home, but Irene finds untouched areas to clean. It's a treat to have the service and we look forward to it every 2 weeks read more

They damaged my garage, left my door unlocked after the cleaning and hacked my blinds so high I cannot get them down; one person from this company called me, I missed the call and called them back for them to say someone from the company will call you back and never did...it will cost me a few hundred dollars to get my garage fixed! I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN! read more

So, not only did their maid lie about the incident, they filed a claim with the insurance but never accepted responsibility, so their insurance did not reimburse me for the mirror. I called multiple times and no one would help. Very poor service and ethics. There are many more cleaners in the area. Stay away from this one. read more

Ecoverde Cleaning - Home Cleaning Near Me - Silver Spring, Maryland

I needed a deep cleaning on my studio apartment prior to beginning the sale process. Ecoverde offered frequent online booking slots (2hr window on a Saturday in my case) and competitive prices. My cleaner arrived on time, left the apartment clean, and even organized my shoes. Only docking a star because one or two small things were missed out and some competitors offer the option to pay extra for wall cleaning while Ecoverde does not. read more

I have used this service for over 4 years. They are professional responsive and do a great job on cleaning our home. They pay attention to detail and will bring things to your attention that you might not have noticed. (I.e missing screw, chipped casing, etc) If by chance you find something that wasn't done they are quick to come back to your home to rectify the situation. read more

I am completely shocked by how awful this experience was. They took my credit card info to schedule the appointment and promised not to charge until after the cleaning. The charge appeared on my card the morning they were supposed to come. The cleaners were scheduled from 2-4. By 4 pm, they hadn't arrived. I called several times and no one answered. The cleaner (not a team, but one person) arrived around 4:30 and broke my shower in the first few minutes she was here. Now my shower won't turn off. I sent her home because, heaven forbid she touch anything else in my apartment if she broke the first thing she laid a hand on. I'm sitting in a dirty apartment waiting for an emergency maintenance person to come turn my shower off. I wasted my entire Saturday. Please do not hire this "team" for your home. *Updating: maintenance arrived shortly after the cleaner left. They are still trying to fix the shower. My Saturday evening is ruined, as well as that of the poor maintenance crew that is trying to figure out how this happened. read more

For a $300+ service, it was poorly done. Kitchen cabinets doors are not completely cleaned. Thick layer of grease residue is still found on the kitchen hood. Some of the window has streak marks. Arrived after promised window. Some locations were missed, and we had to remind them. I think it was just toward the end of the day, and the cleaning people just got tired. read more

Used this service weekly for 9 months. Cleaning was ok most of the time. However my biggest complain is the unreliable timing. The window they provide for arrival is large and yet most of the time the cleaner was late. While I certainly understand that happening occasionally, I would say about every third time is inappropriate for a business. With small kids in the house, it was impossible to schedule our day when we had no idea when the cleaners would arrive (errands, naps, etc.). The office staff did not seem to care and was rude. Disappointed to leave this review. read more

I have a small apartment, one bedroom, one bathroom, and a small kitchen area. Not particularly challenging to clean but housecleaning is not a great skill of mine so with this in mind, I sought out Ecoverde Maids based on a good recommendation. I was not, in the slightest, disappointed. Three very kind and friendly maids showed up right at their scheduled time, and looking to get out of their way so that they could clean, I left for a few hours and got lunch. Around 1-2 hours later, I was scarcely finished with my meal before I received a call that my apartment was fully-cleaned and that the work was done. The maids let themselves out and that was that. Upon my return, I came to find a beautifully-spotless home: all my clothes had been neatly put away, all trash and debris thrown away, and all surfaces made immaculately-clean. I have scarcely encountered such friendly, courteous, and thorough service from any commercial service with which I have contracted. Ecoverde Maids earned every one of the five stars I have given them. read more

We needed our one-bedroom apartment cleaned for a move-out, and after getting several quotes from cleaning services around Capitol Hill, we went with Ecoverde Maids and so happy we did! They were prompt to respond and it was easy and simple to book online. Our 2-person crew was on-time, so kind, and did an incredible job. They were done in just over 2 hours and the place was spotless! They really pay attention to the details and are very thorough. Reasonably priced and an amazing value!! Would absolutely recommend them to anyone. read more

I have been using this service for the last 3 months. Very dependable and flexible - we had special requests and they were always able to accommodate. If I could give a negative star review...I would. Where do I begin... 1. Sub-par cleaning services and WAAAYY over priced 2. The address on here and the "website" is fake so there's no real way to speak in person to any kind of supervisor or manger with the company. One can only assume that it's being illegal run out of someone's home and, that kind of back door fly by night thing, I have no interest in. 3. Extremely, emphasis on EXTREMELY, rude phone etiquette from the customer service representatives and managerial staff. I sent an email canceling my services after attempting for almost 3 weeks to get a hold a supervisor there to talk about my complaint...each time I called, the head supervisor Carolina, was not available or out of the office or some other lame, untrue excuse there were using to not allow me to lodge a formal compliant. It's been two weeks since that email was sent I've received no contact from them, no refund, and they are still charging us FOR SERVICES WE ARE NOT RECEIVING and have not received in almost a month... This place is a sham and I'm in the process of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Please do yourselves a favor people and stay away from this company...if they even are a real company. read more

So easy to book online - I did it at the last minute, the day before, which was so convenient. Usually I find that I have to scheduling cleaning a few days before, so I really appreciated this. I used Ecoverde maids for approximately 4 months as we booked cleanings for our staff's apartments in Bethesda. Ecoverde has always had a solid response rate- very quick, thorough, and willing to adjust your cleaning schedule last minute if needed. I had to show up on site during an impact move out cleaning to take inventory of furniture. While there, the Ecoverde maids staff who was cleaning the apartment were very courteous and respectful. I have never had an issue with this company, I highly recommend them. read more

The best cleaning service I've ever had! The cleaners were incredible and did a TON of things I didn't ask them to do (like clean the oven!!!). They worked so hard, left my house spotless and couldn't have been more professional or polite. I was paying the same rate for a service that did so much less than Ecoverde. So glad I looked for another option. Can't recommend them highly enough! read more

It was easy to sign up, they called to request permission to change their arrival time, they followed my instructions, the price was right! Best of all, they didn't put things away for me, (always a problem, because then you can't find your stuff!) and they followed through on my request via note on their website about cleaning a delicate surface. Definitely will be calling them again! read more
