I chose this company because of the great reviews, and unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing. I booked Spekless a month ago for a deep cleaning. I live in a 3 level townhome. The cleaning was booked for just the main and top floors, but was still over $300, including $30 for an oven cleaning. I'll start with the positive- customer service and communication was great - responsive and friendly. I was told the deep cleaning would take up to 3 hours. I was home to greet the cleaners and left my husband home while I ran an errand. My husband called literally an hour later and said they were done. I rushed home to check the work and found visible mold/ dirty in the shower, which is the ENTIRE reason I called a professional service. My stove cleaning was also not completed. I reported what I found to customer service and sent pictures. They apologized and scheduled for the cleaners to return - TWICE. They canceled each time, and in the end, never returned. I was granted a $30 refund for my oven and $20 credit for my next service. I would NOT recommend this company and will not return to book any additional services. Beware. read more

I am absolutely blown away by the deep clean that Spekless performed on my home! The plan was simply to have my house cleaned in anticipation of guests visits. The result was SO MUCH more. In addition to making everything look better than when I moved in (awesome baseboards, tub, and stove cleaning) the team made some adjustments to my space that made a real difference. They recommended for instance, moving my trash can to the other side of my kitchen for easier reach, and now I wouldn't have it any other way. Nearing the end of a home renovation that had gone on several months too long, our condo was desperately in need of a deep clean. We'd previously hired our building's cleaning crew on the side to clean our unit - and while they do a fine job, I wanted to find someone who could be counted on to truly DEEP clean. We weren't disappointed with Speckless! The entire process was flawless. Booking was simple, and it was clear they understood what we were looking for. We booked a three hour clean, but they explained that if by any chance the crew needed more time, the dispatcher would text to make that request. Excellent communication! The crew arrived promptly and got right to work. It was immediately clear they'd managed many post-construction jobs. And when the crew did indeed need some additional time to finish, the dispatcher was in close communication to make the request. The final results were superb. Stepping inside, the condo felt completely fresh - it didn't smell like cleaning supplies, but was simply clean and fresh. And the crew hit absolutely every little spot throughout the unit, even ones I'd neglected to mention needed attention. The value and quality were outstanding for the results. Unfortunately something significant was damaged in my house two separate times when I used this service. First, a large stain was made on my hardwood floors and I had to replace nine boards. The second time the carpet on my stairs was somehow burned or melted, and I had to replace my staircase carpet. These people are very good at what they do. My wife and I are both very busy with work, and this unfortunately results in a pretty unkept house. Our schedules are too variable to have them come regularly, so we've had them do deep cleans every month or so. Suffice it to say, they do amazing work. In a couple hours they make our home look brand new. I have always loathed "cleaning to prepare for the cleaning people," and inevitably have some things that require moving. They not only work around this but often organize things better than I'd left it! The level of detail is also incredible- tooth brush holders, inside the microwave, door knobs...everything they touch sparkles by the time they leave. What a lucky choice!! Team Geidy is my regular cleaning crew (although Team Rosie helped out once and was great too), and they do a great job. Even though I'm at work, Geidy always texts me to let me know they are on the way. After every cleaning I get a text from the office checking my cleaning was up to my standards. What more could I want? My team remembers little things like how I like my bed made. I used to put the trash bags and things out, but the crew started putting them away to show me they knew how to get it done! When they arrived, the cleaning was excellent quality. They did all of the major areas (Bedroom, Bathroom, kitchen and living areas) and the place is looking good as new. I want to update my review, because I've heard from Ryan from the corporate office. While they did not provide good cleaning in my home, they have tried to make things right. They issued a full refund and offered numerous apologies. They said that they are using this experience to train their staff, and I hope that is true. They also said this experience was a one-off, and based on all the reviews I've seen, I will take them at their word. While my cleaning experience with them was poor, I can appreciate how hard they've worked to make things right. I didn't want or need a full refund, but I'm glad they decided to do the right thing and give that to me. It speaks to the character of the business. What has delayed me initially from selecting a cleaning service is the apprehension of what doing that entails. With Spekless, it's a breeze. You create an account on their website, which is laid out great, everything is pretty intuitive. They're flexible and on top of that their communication is top notch. They text you, keeping you in the loop and ask if you if you need anything. At no point in time did I ever feel neglected or unsure. I could text them at anytime. In fact, I wasn't able to go through with the booking as originally planned. They were super understanding and checked on me numerous times, not in a hassling way but very supportive. The time I picked was a two hour window and the cleaning person texted me their ETA. I was home the day they came due to it being a Federal Holiday, that was no issue. They cleaned everything, dusted it, washed cabinets and such. I got the deep cleaning and specified pets. My apartment looks like it did when I first moved in. Everything white is white white again. I had a bunch of clutter I meant to move before they came but didn't and they organized it so I can either leave it like that or have an easier time to declutter. I have a 1br and they have really made it a joy to be there again. I will definitely use them again and again and have already referred a friend. I had used another cleaner in the past some years ago, they were great too, but Spekless really takes the headache out of scheduling, paying, things that come up. I booked online for 4 bedroom (3 upstairs, 1 in basement) and 4 bath (for 3.5 bath). Their form never asked about type of house (single family, condo), actual sq ft of house, nor basement. Five min later I get a text saying according to public records, I have a basement. I say yes. They say "Oh, thank you for confirming, your total will be xyz with the basement." The total went up by 50 dollars. Their website pricing is a total scam for a bait and switch. Also they have an EIGHT hour arrival window!!!?!! Who has time for that? They've been cleaning my apartment for years now and let me tell you this - they LIVE UP to their name.
