Hired them for a move out cleaning. They got it looking like a nice hotel. Kitchen and bathroom are sparkling and zero dust/cobwebs on the floors/baseboards. I didn't have all my stuff removed so that made the move out cleaning a little more difficult. But they were able to get many hard-to-reach places. I appreciate them accommodating me. Highly recommended and worth it. read more

Was able to schedule within a day. Great job on upholstery of my sectional. Will hire again!

We've been using this service for years and they're great--thorough, flexible, trustworthy and kind. They bring their own equipment and are great about working around work-from-home families. I highly recommend them. read more

Anya's cleaners were absolute wonderful. I requested that they deep clean my bathroom, plus get those hard to handle areas of the kitchen cabinets and the blinds and window sliders. So polite, thorough, and hardworking. Also, the turnaround time from requesting service to in my apartment was less than a day. I got exactly what I asked for and more - this cleaning was totally worth it and my home has never looked better. They were just the best value and I can't wait to have Anya refresh my home again :) read more

I am very puzzled to see such high stars here. I am thinking that the ladies probably wrote the reviews by themselves. They came to clean our 5 bedroom home, and after 3 hours i found them ready to leave (coats on) in such rush. They gave me no time to check upstairs , and since I'm an honest human, I gave them the check. Silly me. When I went upstairs and checked, I found that they had just removed some hair from the bathroom shelves to give me the impression that they cleaned. Shelves , bathroom closets and windows were not cleaned at all. There was still dust and dirt. Basically , they cleaned two floors on three, and we will now have to do all the work upstairs by ourselves. I think they had another appointment and just left like that. Kitchen : all the upper shelves are DIRTY. They didn't bring any ladder, and she couldn't reach. Very disappointing for $600. read more

I was impressed with Anna and her staff this morning as they cleaned my apartment. They were trustworthy, easy to communicate with, thorough and attentive to detail and were punctual. They actually moved my furniture to do a thorough cleaning. I recommend her cleaning service to anyone is search of a reliable company that's dedicated to quality customer service. read more

I cannot say enough about this crew. They are friendly, professional, responsible, and constantly go above and beyond the call of duty. For instance, we had a 22 year old cat that often forgot where the litterbox was, but they never complained. They just petted his head and cleaned his room. Never once have I had a problem or had to complain, and they have been with us for years. I highly recommend Anya's Green Cleaning. read more

Anya's team came for a deep cleaning (including upholstery cleaning) during my move in. Anya and her team were fantastic - great communication, flexibility when I had to push back the time, wonderful work as they cleaned through the new space and the upholstery, and even helped me get organized as I was unpacking. The team was so helpful for my move and will recommend them to anyone. I plan on hiring them again whenever the need arises. Thank you! read more

Anya is AMAZING. We just bought a row home in DC and had some construction done. Because our home was built 100+ years ago, this meant a TON of lead paint dust was floating around our entire house. Anya and her associate literally spent ALL DAY on a Saturday on their hands and knees cleaning the wood floors and scrubbing the walls/closets to ensure we would be safe to move in the next day. Best part is, all of their products are natural, so we didn't have to worry about chemical smells and our place smelled AMAZING. So much thanks to Anya! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

I was a little skeptical about booking this cleaning with Anna, because many of her positive reviews are from a while ago - however, I took the leap and was very happy. Anna did a great job. She showed up with one other cleaner. They did a thorough move out clean for my 3 bedroom condo. I was also very happy that they were able to do the clean on a Sunday. I asked about 7 other companies and her company was the ONLY one available on a Sunday. She also cleaned and shampooed carpets. Make sure to get a fixed price quote and outline all that needs to be done before the clean. Overall great job and great price! read more

Will absolutely use again. Called day-of at 8:15am when I realized I just couldn't handle move out cleaning and my keys were due in by 6pm. Phone was answered immediately, I gave details and got the cost and estimated arrival within 10 minutes. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. The appliances and bathroom were spotless - those had been my big areas of concern. We did a walk through before I paid and when two areas were identified for additional attention, that was taken care of very quickly. Fast, easy, reliable. I will recommend them to everyone. read more

First time user. I will def use their services again. Quick response and same day service.

Pros: Anya was responsive, and sent cleaners to my apartment at short notice. Cons: They did the BARE MINIMUM; surfaces they 'cleaned' still looked dirty and other areas of the apartment were completely untouched. Bottom line: I'm extremely disappointed and will not be using Anya's services again. There are other cleaners in the area who are thorough and attentive to detail within the same price point. read more

Love them - we needed to get the bathroom and kitchen cleaned. They were prompt, efficient and courteous! Excellent job - thank you!

Anna and her team did a great job for my move out. She came in Saturday evening, and did a thorough and professional job including both carpet and general cleaning for a large town house for a very good price read more

They did an excellent job cleaning my place for move-out. They even spent extra time trying to clean spots out of the carpet and called me when they could not make progress on them. I never got to see the cleaning job myself, as they finished once I had moved out, but my landlord was satisfied and that is enough for me. I am going to be using them again soon to clean the floors and carpet at my new house, and will update this review once I've seen their work for myself. The overall cost for carpet cleaning and a move-out clean for my 1200 sq ft house with 2 full bathrooms was $375. Extremely reasonable compared to every other company I went out for a quote with. I would highly recommend Anya's. read more

I personally really liked Anya so it's hard to write this but we paid $225 for a deep clean for 2 bd/2.5 ba and they barely scratched the surface. They left mold in the shower and toilet and didn't wash the bathroom floors (see pics). They didn't clean the glass doors or the base boards, and I had to ask them to clean under the couch cushions. My husband found them and set up the appointment and probably didn't think to ask about these things but these things usually come with a deep clean. All in all they spent a little more than 1.5 hr "deep cleaning," when other cleaners have taken closer to 3 hr. On the plus side the kitchen looks great! read more

We have been through several cleaning companies trying to find someone who is conscientious and treats our home as if it were their own. Thank goodness we finally found Anya! They are thorough, careful with furniture, and we are totally comfortable having them in our home. read more

They did a fantastic job with cleaning and organizing my apartment. I expected them to be like the other cleaning services and not dust or organize a few minor things and they did it all even after i forgot to mention it. The price was pretty good too. Highly recommended!!! read more

The ultimate Go-To cleaning team to use for your Arlington/Alexandria location. Anya and her team are wonderful. She pays close attention to your needs and is extremely intuitive about what may or may not be necessary if you forgot to discuss prior to cleaning. You will be delighted, never disappointed. I have used many maid services in the area, whether they are "Green-Clean" or standard products, large or small. The biggest projects she has gone above and beyond any other company to help me with is cleaning all of my rental properties, some multi-bedroom apartments that young folks have no desire to clean regularly. Upon move-out, tenants sometimes do not leave the apartment in the 100% clean condition that it was handed over to them in, so I have called Anya to help me remedy the situation. After they finish quite quickly, apartments sparkle. Anya anticipates every detail that I would have brought up, from hidden food stuffs under the stove and calcium buildup on shower glass and gaskets to dusty baseboards throughout the apartment. Oh, and her team is very vigilant about not scratching up stainless steel surfaces in kitchens. Amazing service, and worth every penny. Will definitely call again and again ^_^ read more

I am so beyond thrilled with the work Anna and her team did today. Our 1940s era condo with late '90s carpeting was looking a little rough (we're beginning renovations) and having the couch and carpets cleaned was the perfect apartment face lift/morale boost we needed to keep going. I took the dogs out to give them time and space to work and when I came back an hour later I felt like I was walking into a new apartment. I will definitely use them again in the future! read more

I have been using Anya's Green Cleaning to clean my 3 BR condo for a year, and they do excellent work. They are reliable, thorough, and use green (non-toxic) cleaning supplies. Moreover, they have been accommodating when I have had scheduling issues. Last, but not least, Anna herself is very responsive to contact as well as a decent human being. Highly recommended. read more

I hired Anya's Green Cleaning to clean the carpet in my apartment. They did such a good job that my carpet looks new. For the areas where they couldn't completely remove stains, I was given an explanation why, but even those spots were so faint. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

I booked a move-out clean with some of the additional services the company offers (carpet steam cleaning, hole patching, and painting) - I was keen to get everything taken care of at once as I was short on time, so one of the reasons I booked was that they can provide these extra services. I'm very happy with the results. A team of two did my one-bedroom apartment in about 3 hours. They worked efficiently and did a thorough job, and were pleasant and polite people. I'd definitely use the company again. read more

We've been using Anna and her team to clean our DC Capitol Hill row house for a few years now, and they always provide excellent and reliable service at a reasonable price. I needed a super deep clean for my apartment with the impending arrival of my new baby and Anya was great! She corresponded over yelp messages to get me a reasonable quote and was very responsive w messages, showed up right on time, and the place looked shiny and like new afterwards. Plus the green cleaning materials didn't stink up the place like normal cleaning products would :) She also gave me a thorough walk-through afterwards showing me exactly what they did. I'm sitting here enjoying my wonderfully clean apartment. I'm sure I'll use this service again. Great stuff. Thanks Anya! read more

Wow!! My place is spotless. Thank you Anna for the amazing work. I will definitely be hiring this company again, the attention to detail was such a pleasant surprise too. Anna washed dishes in the sink too, which I totally didn't expect. My kitchen looks like the day I moved in. Totally worth every dollar. Thank you! read more

I have been using Anya's Green Cleaning service for about 1 year after a recommendation from the Cleveland Park Listserv. With one young toddler, I wanted to hire a cleaning service that used green products. I'm glad that this service was recommended. They are prompt and responsive. The cleaning is careful and thorough. Anya gives green cleaning recommendations as well (e.g., for cleaning the shower head and stove). I highly recommend this service! read more

I was very happy with Anya's Green Cleaning when I used them. Very detailed cleaning including hard to reach places. What appeals to me is that they use "green" cleaning supplies that are safer for the environment without blowing up the price for that one reason. Too bad I moved away from VA, it's actually hard to find a cleaning service which is this thorough and professional. Great customer service too! read more

I hired Anya and team for a move-in clean of my 1,100 rental home in Arlington. I was very pleased with the service. They arrived on time with a crew and supplies and equipment. They left no corner unturned and at the end of the job walked me through and pointed out several things that were difficult, which was helpful as a new renter. I liked the products they used, not too smelly and fanciful but obviously a lot of elbow grease. A few thorough job, for a reasonable price. Thank you, Anna & teamm! read more

Had Anna come out for an apartment cleaning on short notice about a month ago. The set up with her over email was easy, the price was good, and she was highly responsive - squeezing me in when I needed someone quickly. I was also very pleased with her service. In talking with her, it sounds like they also provide full cleaning services, which I would be happy to use in the future. I would strongly recommend her and her team. read more

Anya's Green Cleaning responded to my request to perform a move-out deep clean of my apartment on short notice. She was highly responsive reaching out in a matter of minutes. She then was able to quote me a great price through easy and quick communication via email. She was able to provide her services during a narrow time slot - at a time that accommodated us for our move out date and inspection - on a Saturday. Her team was able to deep clean our entire town house apartment, steam clean our basement carpet, and clean our very dirty fridge and bathroom. I am very happy to say that as a result we are receiving our full security deposit back. I would recommend and use again. read more

I am extremely sorry we hired Anya and her team to do our pre-move cleaning. I was going based on other yelp reviews and I am shocked by how much the outcome differed from what we expected. No deep cleaning of any kind here. First off, windows - they only clean the inside of the window for some reason and even that is just done with a rag, leaving dirt and streaks everywhere. Similar approach to the floors - just spread water around with a mop, leaving streaks and dust. Definitely no shiny floors here. Also, even though they were supposed to wash the carpets, the carpets were bone dry when I came to do the final walk through. They told me that they steam cleaned them and the carpets have dried. Completely dry carpets two hours after steam cleaning! Never experienced this before with carpets being washed and they didn't look washed (new carpets, no stains). Again, Anya told us that they washed the floor "a number of times", which is hard to believe with all the dirt and dust in the corners. Or maybe they just washed the center of the room, I don't know. They did come back to clean the more egregious dirt and dust, but as you expect with wiping windows with a rag in the evening, the result was still very much sub-par. Same goes for the floors. We were just exasperated and paid them, since they offer no refund, but it looks like we need to either try to clean the place properly ourselves (including carpet wash) or hire another company. We wasted a day, we wasted money and we have to redo the whole cleaning somehow, even with being very pressed on time. Basically, the service did not go further than light dusting and running a wet mop over the floor in a cursory manner. If this is what you need - they might be a good choice for you. We wanted a clean house to move in to and we definitely did not get that. read more

I was a resident of Arlington, VA up until last month and in preparation for my move on the first of this month, I knew I would need to contract carpet cleaners as one of the check-out stipulations for my master bedroom involved carpet cleaning/shampooing. This was my first time having to contact cleaners and as such was initially a bit hesitant until I began my Yelp search and came across Anya. The reviews were all positive - Perfect! I knew right then and there that I hit the jackpot in terms of what I was looking for. Not only would I experience fast reliable service but a thoroughly clean carpet. Never would I have imagined getting excited over such a task, but I did! I contacted Anya directly via phone a few days before, and then texted her with my address the day before. Although my building is difficult to get to, they managed to find the right building, and in no time they were in the lobby escorting their cleaning items to get to my apartment. I brought them to the room that needed cleaning and boy did they get down to business. From moving furniture, to vacuuming, to spraying my carpet with a steam cleaning solution, at the end of it all my carpet was as good as new and mind you I have a few difficult stains that I thought would never come off. Great service, fair pricing, and friendly staff! I give them my highest recommendation and will help spread the word to anyone in need. You're the best! read more
