Fantastic cleaning service - easy to book, affordable, reliable. Everyone who has come to clean my apartment has been great. Started with an impact clean and then regular cleanings every other week, has been great. read more

I was so disappointed with this maid service. When I came home I was expecting to see everything neat and tidy. I walked in and nothing looked organized and there was barely any indication that anything had been cleaned at all. I had requested cleaning for 2 and 1/2 baths, living room and kitchen cleaned. And, in fact, they totally FORGOT the 1/2 bath. I was having company the next day which is why I got this extra cleaning. I ended up cleaning the same areas from 8:00-10:00pm that night. Worst job ever, I hope they have fired whoever cleaned my house. read more

Easy to book services and efficient cleaning, however, cleaning was not thorough on hardwood floors. This was mentioned during one of the post-cleaning surveys but did not improve on next visit. Dirty tupperware left in dishwasher with lids on. We were on a monthly service and this last time, no one showed up during the 2-hr arrival window and no notice was given. We were hoping to use them for long term cleaning service but unfortunately had to cancel our subscription. read more

I have used a few cleaning services in the DMV area, but none compare to Ecoverde Maids! They are efficient, thorough, and leave your house smelling fresh. The thorough aspect is what I most impressed with. Excellent company! read more

Ecoverde Left my house Clean and fresh, swear it was as if I had just moved in. I'm very happy with this service and I will definitely order again in the future read more

I originally needed a cleaning service because I had knee surgery and was unable to clean my apartment on my own. Booking a cleaning with Ecoverde was insanely easy and scheduling all my subsequent cleanings has been easy. The team who actually cleans my apartment has been wonderful and my apartment smells so clean after every visit. The management team is quite responsive to any concerns and/or emails. It is also nice that the company sends you reminders about your scheduled cleanings. read more

The concern is my very first deep clean was not a deep clean at all. They had to do it over again with the second crew. Simple things like dusting and my shower doors were not cleaned. I asked the woman to please clean thoroughly and she refused. Unfortunately, this kicked off a terrible business-client relationship. Finally, this past Friday I caught the cleaners using the bottom of the vacuum cleaner to vacuum my upholstery bar stool seats, accent pillows and sofa. That ended my business relationship. Amid COVID-19, this is highly unsanitary and unprofessional. The company and cleaners shared that they sanitize the bottom of the vacuum cleaners before each job. That's unacceptable an no excuse. No customer should experience that, even when we're not in a pandemic. They should've used an upholstery tool as part of a vacuum handle. There was an offer to "disinfect" my pillows and places where the vacuum cleaner was used. I refused because it's impossible. I now have to buy new pillows and potentially a new sofa. I requested a refund for this visit. I hope I'll at least be afforded this as promised. We'll see. I'll never refer this company to my network, which is wide and deep. Their loss. read more

I've used Ecoverde twice and they are fantastic! This most recent time, they made my apartment look brand new! My apartment is generally fairly clean but Emeli and Jorge wen above and beyond and got into spots (like cleaning the front of my microwave and fridge or dusting my window shutters) that I don't typically! I would 100% book ecoverde again!! read more

I was given a Christmas gift by my son for cleaning of our condo in Alexandria-3 bedrooms, 2 & 1/2 baths. They were punctual, offered great service and were gone in less than 2 hours-3 of them. I already have a housekeeper that comes every 2 weeks so don't need a new one. Ecoverde is more expensive than mine and doesn't offer anything different from what my housekeepers do now. They are equally as qualified. read more

Great service! This company makes it easy to schedule an appointment online. You are able to select the exact services you want and schedule a one hour arrival window. Prior to my appointment I received two reminder emails with cancellation/rescheduling information. The day of the appointment a team of two showed up and immediately reviewed my order with me before getting to work. They estimated that move-in/moe-out cleaning for my two-bedroom two bedroom would take 80 minutes. I left for the day and when I cam back home was VERY happy with the work they did. The apartment was spotless and it was clear they worked hard. Thanks! read more

I have used them twice for move-in cleaning for my rental. I love that you can order "a la carte" on the website, and get exactly what you need. I have used lots of cleaning services (mostly for my own place), but I didn't trust those other services for a move-in. I chose ecoverde based on looking at lots of online reviews. I'll use them again. read more

Ecoverde Maids is by far the most reliable and thorough cleaning service I have used in DC. In the 12 years I have lived in the District, I have worked with many agencies, and none have been as professional, pleasant to work with, prompt and fast as the wonderful women of Ecoverde. I most recently hired them weeks after bringing home a new baby, when I just couldn't handle getting all the pet hair and dust up from my two floor, three bedroom townhouse by myself. The team of three came exactly when they were scheduled, spoke great English, listened to my instructions and requests, were kind to my baby and dog, and worked like magic to get the house spotless in no time. The bathrooms had some pretty bad residue in the shower and they made them look brand new. And man do we have a LOT of pet hair they were able to get up even in the random corners of the house. I've also used them for a moveout clean and they did a similarly fabulous job. If you are looking for a reliable and thorough cleaning with products you can feel good about, I highly recommend Ecoverde! read more

The first thing I loved about Ecoverde was the straightforward pricing on their website. Most other cleaning services required you to put ridiculous information such as square footage. Once you put the information in you still had to wait for a "quote" which is basically them calling you incessantly for days. Ecoverde was so much easier! We scheduled an "impact clean" with Ecoverde in place of the "move in/move out" because it looked like you got more for the same price. I booked the service for the day and time I wanted and received confirmation and reminder emails in the days leading up to the cleaning. The maids came and did a fantastic job of cleaning an apartment that hasn't been cleaned in 2 years and had 3 guys living in it. The place looked spotless. I'm very pleased with the price, customer service, and quality of the cleaning. I highly recommend Ecoverde. read more

The maid who came to my studio apartment was really nice and overall I was very pleased with how my house looked and smelled after her service. There were a few spots on the wood floors that didn't get clean even though we paid extra for a deep cleaning service, but this was the only issue I noticed. Everything else was very clean. I think the prices are about the same at the different companies, but if I wasn't pregnant I think next time I would probably just clean myself and save the money. But it was a nice treat while I'm expecting. read more

I always have something better to do than clean. Ecoverde agrees with me. They're extremely detailed oriented; I never have to contact them after a service because they missed something. Schedule recurring bookings and stop cleaning. Just stop. read more

Great experience! We ordered the impact cleaning for our 1 bedroom apartment and they did a great job. Every nook and cranny was cleaned - WAY better than we could've ever managed ourselves. Will definitely book again on a regular basis as it's worth the money. read more

Recently used Ecoverde to clean my 3 bedroom duplex. The staff arrived on time and thoroughly cleaned my home in 1.5 hours. They got sections of my house cleaner than I ever would be able to. They are affordable and their office staff is very responsive. I initially called them for a one time cleaning, however my experience was so great that I now plan to use them monthly. read more

I choose Ecoverde Maids because of their yelp reviews and the quality and intuitive design of their website. Their website was very easy to process specifics, such as the details of my space and their options to select from in order to quickly provide estimated pricing. I've scheduled cleanings monthly, and have had two appointments so far. On both occasions, a team of two came together and they did a beautiful and thorough job on my 2br apartment. I've decided to schedule them monthly indefinitely. They charge on the day of service, which I really appreciated. And I'm very happy with the quality of their work. They are all about their business, and keep careful track of their time. The service behind the onsite cleaning has been great too, very responsive. On my first scheduled cleaning, there was a problem with my credit card because I had a fraud alert and my bank wasn't processing some charges. The day of the charge, we worked it out quickly and there was no interruption with the scheduled time of service. And there have been other specific details we've worked out in regards to scheduling, they're flexible with rescheduling as needed. Again, I have been very pleased with the quality of the cleanings, the website, and the personal customer service. I very much appreciate and value the services Ecoverde Maids provides. This is the start of a long relationship. Thank you Ecoverde! Great work! read more

Great cleaning service, fantastic results and the even cleaned my baseboards!! They were thorough and communicative. Highly recommend.

Ecoverde provides excellent professional cleaning services to their customers. I booked a move out clean and was very pleased by the job they did. The quality of their work is some of the best I've seen. They are easy to schedule on their website. It is also easy to pay them online and don't have to worry about cash. I appreciate they use top of the line green cleaning supplies. They cleaned the hardwood floor with Bona which is really good floor cleaner. What I like most about Ecoverde is they advertise everything they do and deliver a very good service without any short cuts. Your home has to look it's best and Ecoverde can get it to looking fantastic! I highly recommend for you to try their cleaning services. You won't be disappointed ! read more

We scheduled their move out cleaning with oven, fridge, and window cleaning. They showed up on time and did a great job. Our old apartment looked immaculate. The staff was friendly and prompt. Called us when they arrived and when they were about 15 minutes from being done cleaning so we could come, check on their work, and lock up. We were very impressed and I'm sure we will not get any surprise "cleaning" charges from the old apartment's property management company. I also very much like their website and their online scheduling system. It puts it far above the other maid services in the area who have very bad websites and need to schedule a phone call to set anything up. I much prefer going online and scheduling an appointment, or coordinating over email to playing phone tag. read more

I've had a really positive experience with Ecoverde. They make booking and changing appointments very easy and the prices seem reasonable (worth it because they do a great job). The team of ladies that came to clean our 3BR house were wonderful. Incredibly thorough and efficient. I wish we could afford to have them come more often! read more

I used Ecoverde on a last minute post renovation job at a commercial space. I needed that deep vacuum, attention to detail kinda work I was not going to get from the contractor or my janitorial service. It was exactly what I needed. I left the team in the space after hours, they took care of everything, returned the keys to the designated area and called me when done and sent follow up pictures. I was very satisfied. read more

I usually do a deep clean for the New Year! However, with tons of traveling and not being home I was unable to this year. Ecoverde came and helped this millennial get organized by listening to my needs and the booking system was quick and efficient. They are very responsive and I will using again and referring them to friends! read more

I just had them come for the first time, and I thought they did an excellent job. They dusted everywhere, vacuumed, etc., etc. My only complaint was that they could've gone over the bathroom floor one more time, as I still saw some dust. But I didn't notice that until after they left (and in fairness, they did ask me to check before they left to make sure everything was to my liking, so I'm not holding that one against them). They sent 3 people, although only 2 of them did the cleaning (there was a parking issue). It took them a little over 1 hour, but that made sense to me because it's just a one-bedroom apartment. I did pay for 2 hours, but I don't see a reason to punish them for being efficient. Also, they made my bed very well! They did a great job, and I would definitely recommend them! read more

Ecoverde did a good job cleaning my 2-bedroom apartment. The team they sent was very professional -- they showed up on time and were friendly. And the products smelled great. They could have a bit a little more thorough in terms of moving things to clean better (e.g. vacuuming under the couch, dusting behind objects). I don't usually do that myself so I would hope that when I pay someone to come clean (especially at a premium), they do those things. I'd use them again but be more specific about my priority areas for cleaning. Compared to other services in the area Ecoverde is one of the best. read more

Still happy! I've started asking for unscented products, as the scent in the regular products is unbearably strong. That has helped a lot. I recently had surgery and have not been able to clean for a while. While this means the house hasn't gotten too messy, it had gotten pretty dusty. The ecoverde folks did a great job making my house clean again. read more

Oh. My. Goodness. Wow. The awesome ladies who showed up to clean my place just left, and I believe it's cleaner than I've seen it in months. I normally clean myself but I'm working on my master's thesis and am way too busy and stressed out right now to worry about it. However, living in a dirty house stresses me out too, so I don't have the option of just letting it slide. I enjoyed this entire experience and am *very* happy that I reached out. Thanks to Ecoverde Maids for taking such a weight off my shoulders!! read more

Ecoverde Maids did a great job doing a move in cleaning for me this week. The staff arrived promptly, was communicative about their location and parking issues, and they were eager to clean. My move in cleaning was done well, the apartment is sparkling. We chose Ecoverde because of the ease of the online scheduling system and they had availability within 48 hours, at the right day and time for us. I only took off a star because they were pricey (again, we went with them because we had time constraints), but the pricing set up adds up really quickly. I agreed to pay their higher price based on needing the time, but if I had had more time to shop, their pricing wasn't necessarily competitive. read more

This 5 star rating is primarily regarding responsiveness, flexibility, and professionalism. I needed to hire a cleaner fast, as i was moving out 1.5 days and Ecoverde was very quick to work with me on scheduling. I ended up not using them as I was having scheduling conflicts due to the relocation but I was very impressed. read more

Love my Ecoverde team. They are attentive, professional, kind to my dogs, and they do such a nice job in our home. The team in my home is consistent with faces and thoroughness. For me, it's the extra touches I just wouldn't do on my own, like dusting my bookshelves, vaccuming the sofa, folding the bath towels just so... I also appreciate that they use my preferred products when I request. I will be keeping this team without a doubt! read more

I was satisfied with their service until they informed me that they no longer serve my area code. I was dropped unexpectedly and suddenly. This is not the way to treat customers. read more

I recently moved to DC and needed a reliable, professional cleaning team for my apartment. I found Ecoverde on Yelp and they've been excellent. You can book online and let them take care of the rest! A group of three women came from Ecoverde to clean our house on Friday and did the best job we have ever experienced. They were extremely thorough in every respect, pleasant and efficient. We are totally pleased and look forward to having them back! We highly recommend them! read more

My apartment was a disaster; both my partner and I work full time jobs and we have a very heavily shedding pup and I finally waved the white flag on cleaning. Two ladies came from Ecoverde maids right on time; I showed them around my apartment and with very little instruction beyond that (I had never hired a cleaning person before) we left. They texted me to let me know they locked the door behind them, and when we returned later that day it was like magic! (I literally said that to my husband when we walked in). So clean, despite the state of disarray we had left it in. We will definitely be using this service on a monthly basis from here on out. read more

I couldn't be more impressed with the work ethic of the ladies that cleaned the condo -- faced with MANY challenges before a big event, they just kept cleaning until everything was cleaned thoroughly. Friendly, pleasant & professional - very hard to find such a great service! I will DEFINITELY be recommending them to anyone I know and can't wait to call them again! read more

I am really happy with the work that was done on my condo. It was very easy to book an appointment, and it was even at the last min. I had guests coming over for a housewarming the end of the week and I needed cleaning basically the next day after booking, and they were still accommodating! The team of 3 ladies did a great job on all the surfaces, inside the ovens, on counters, on floors, and dusting everything. They left it spotless! No complaints about that at all! The place had not had a good cleaning in at least a year, so I booked an "impact clean," and it was worth the extra money. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because Ecoverde did not notify me that they were running late. I was worried they weren't going to show up, so I had to call Ecoverde myself to find out. And after speaking to the receptionist, she said she would call me back and never did. Instead, she emailed me, but I didn't see the email until a couple min before the team was arriving. I think in that sense, the customer service needs to be improved. Other than that, I'm a really happy customer, and I am trying to see if a monthly cleaning from them is feasible in my budget. Thanks a lot, Ecoverde! My place is looking great for my housewarming. read more

I have used Ecoverde Maids twice; once for a move out cleaning at a condo I rent out, and once in my own home in preparation for a party. Both times they did an excellent job -- they are very prompt, quick, professional and thorough. I will definitely use them again; I am having a baby soon and will need housecleaning help, and they are at the top of my list of cleaning services to consider hiring on a regular basis. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that their service is a bit pricey, especially considering all of the add-ons/extra costs (I have a 3.5 bath home; when I scheduled a 3 bathroom cleaning, they did not clean the half bath because each bathroom costs an additional fee). However the ease of scheduling, great customer service and reliability is well worth it. Highly recommend! read more

We've had Ecoverde come 3 times now and are satisfied customers in for the long haul. We started with an impact cleaning and have continued with standard cleans since then. At first we had a minor kink with the floor cleaning because the smell of the products bothered us, but we switched to the "green" products and have been happy since. The service is very receptive to feedback and is always inquiring about how the cleaning went. I really like the reminder emails and the web scheduling; it's *much* more convenient than having to call someone! A+ on all counts, especially for being responsive and having attention to detail! read more
