I LOVE THIS PLACE! My grandmother and I get our nails done here every other week (Gel and crystal sets). I paid $35 for my nails (w/o design plus a coffin shape).They do such a nice job and are not overly priced. You pay for what you get and it is amazing! Waiting time is not bad if you go on a day or time frame when it is not that busy. Too avoid wait time, I would make an appointment and they take you right away! MUST READ!!!Most horrible customer service ever!!! Came in for a gel manicure. The lady who left me soaking my nails in a bowl of acetone, just left me there to attend a pedicure customer that walked in after me. She never came back to me....I'm like, "For real??!" Asked the nail tech dude next to me to get me another person to finish the job that lady started. Told him what happened, and he sends me another lady who scraped off the old polish. Then that lady leaves to attend another person. AGAIN...WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK??!!! So third person comes to finish the job. She is rude too AND doing the girl next to me nails at the same time. That is so unacceptable!! I should've just walked out as soon as the first lady did that. Also, lady who finished my job didn't know how to file nails into a round shape on natural nails. this place has become an ABSOLUTE shit show. i've been going to this nail salon for the past 6-7 years. i would see the previous owner who was absolute gem, Cindy, and I need her back to run this place correctly. I go in today and asked for a SOAK OFF. i get sat down with someone, who then starts to cut down my acrylics and drill them. She then begins to grab a fake nail to try and rip off my acrylics and ruin my nail beds after i had specifically asked for a soak off. Once I tell her to stop, and that I had asked for a soak off, she just stares at me for a few seconds and tells me to go take a seat and wait again. 5 minutes later, they tell me to sit and put my nails in the bowl with acetone. A soak off normally takes 15-20 minutes, with the nail technician filing and drilling as they go. Someone explain to me why i sat in that chair with my nails in the bowl of acetone for 40-45 MINUTES without anyone helping me. Numerous workers looked at me and my nails and clearly saw how frustrated I was. Not a single person offered assistance or tried to get me someone to help me. After 45 minutes of just sitting there looking like booboo the fool, a customer walks in for a gel manicure and gets sat down and worked on immediately. At that point, I was LIVID. I grabbed a piece of paper towel, wiped the nasty stuff off my nails, and walked out. Attached are photos of how I looked leaving. I have never understood why this place would get such bad reviews, UNTIL NOW. Can't wait until the day this place gets shut down. Such poor customer service. Went to this nail salon today with my mom. We waited for quite a long time to get out pedicures, but they were quite busy so I let it go. Upon finishing my pedicure, I asked if I could get a change of polish on my gel nails because their pricing board said that it was $15. The owner (Cindy) told me that for my gel polish they would have to charge me $30. I said why the board said $15 and she said no that's only for dip polish, gel is $30. I pointed out on the board where it said change of gel polish on hands $15 and she began telling me that I am not understanding, to which I said I don't want it then. My mom asked what happened and I began to tell her when Cindy came back over for round 2. I told her again that I understood and didn't want it. I sat up front waiting for my mom and Cindy went over to her to "apologize" by telling my mom that I must be spoiled but that's okay because she's my grandma and allowed to spoil me. My mom said she's not spoiled for saying your board is incorrect and Cindy told my mom once again that I must be spoiled and the princess of the family. I will never return. read more

The nails are average. But the experience is terrible, they insist on appointments but have made me wait at least 90 both times. The owner is very rude and disrespectful. They use a drill for all filing so its very rough on your nails. I have even seen them not clean a handheld file for pedicures between clients. So save your time and money and find another location. Everything looks worn anyway so you miss the relaxation portion of the pedicure. read more

This place is horrible, they do not use new equipment everything is already used from previous customers. I asked the lady to shape my nail squared which she couldn't do. They were oval and uneven, I told her I didn't like it and she passed me over to the guy next to me. He was nice at first but left one hand shorter than the other and kept denying it. I asked him if they have diamonds and he brought me them did not open the jar for me, so I had to open it myself and I by mistake opened it upside down so they all came out of their place so he got furious with me and he was like you know what you can sit over there and someone else will take care of you. I've been waiting 20 minutes now to get my nails painted, then he started talking in their language as soon as I got up from my seat to move to the other one. I went with a few of my friends. Two of them got acrylic nails and my other friend got a clear coat. Both of my friends who got the acrylic nails said they were rough with their nails and when they asked for a design they said I can't do that. When they found a deign they could do they did it wrong. Felt like having a mini pampering day so my friend suggested we go here. My friend comes here frequently to get her manicure done so she recommended I try their pedicures here. It was easy enough to find the location and despite coming in at 6:30, I was seated right away. Note: They close at 7:30 but their last appointment is at 6:30. The decor leaves some to be wanted but the salon was fairly packed. I received the spa pedicure and it lasted for about 30 minutes or so. Manuela was nice and very thorough with my pedicure. What I will say is that I am used to going to a salon where they have individual liners for the pedicure and this place's hygiene was minimal at most. I have been going to this place since the beginning of 2018, and now it is august and i am completely disgusted and appalled at their service. The last two times I went, two of my nails broke within the week. Before I started coming to Princess Nails, my nails were strong and healthy, never broke, and now they break within the 5 days after i get my nails done. The service is also bad. They have about 5-10 customers waiting and they go take their break. They do not interact with you, only one lady does. My mother's nail broke and she told the lady who did her nails. The lady had the audacity to get an attitude because she was busy getting her own nails done during work hours while other customers are waiting. The wait time is also ridiculous. They'll do everything but your nails. I highly do not recommend this place. read more

Sadly my long and exhaustive search for a skillful, clean and professional nail salon continues. My bestie and I tried this salon the weekend before last as we learned the nail tech in our normal place had left to go back to school. We decided instead of going to our normal multiple salons, one for nails, one for pedis and waxing to try to find a "one stop shop" where we could get everything done all at once. Sad to say, this is not it. The place we were hoping to try across the street was closed on a Sunday and this place was open albeit crowded. We walk in to no immediate greeting by anyone (really grinds my gears). Finally the owner in the first chair, Cindy I believe, acknowledges us and asks what we want. I tell her a full set and pedi, while my bestie needs a fill in. She walks me to the rear of the salon where the pedi chairs are and I finally get to take a real look at the salon. This place is not clean at all. The stations are broken down, some of the pedi chairs peeling and messy, the garbage is towering and funky. Just a mess. At this point I'm rethinking my decision to get a pedi as I don't want to stick my feet in these tubs. I needed a pedi so badly I decided to pray for mercy and just go with it. I take my sandals off and immediately step on the wet and slippery platform. Eww. I'm like seriously praying to sweet baby Jesus for no infection and get boosted by the nail tech who sprays the basin before adding the water and what looks like toilet bowl blue to the tub. I then add my feet in and then get told that the chair is broken so I need to switch chairs. I then have to repeat the whole process. I luckily have a nice and strong nail tech who despite only knowing Spanish I am able to communicate with. She gives me a very thorough pedi albeit I later discovered that one big toenail is filed crookedly. I cannot attest to their paint as I brought my own but their colors looked basic. I was unsatisfied by the place and decided against getting the set after all so I can only attest to my pedi. It was only $15 with callous remover which is a steal, and has lasted two weeks later which is saying something for the nail tech if not the environment. My bestie is still pleased with the results of her fill in if not the owner who did them because she kept rudely getting up without explanation or a sorry to yell at people or direct customers and staff. She also slightly cut her cuticle and got mad when my friend snatched her hand back. I know I will not be back and am sad that the search still continues. read more

I used to be a regular here. My main thing was eyebrow threading. I used to love the work zena did until she started slipping. I despise thin eyebrows and I have naturally thick ones. All I ever ask her to do is clean them up and don't make them thin. Well with each time I went, my eyebrows started to get thinner, and thinner and more uneven. When I called her out on it she just shrugged her shoulders and said sorry. The last time I went, Cindy, the manager, asked me if I forgot to tip the eyebrow lady. Excuse me? So I gladly lead her to the mirror and pointed out the gaps, thinning, and unevenness of my eyebrows and said I would never return and she's lucky I even paid for the service. She rolled her eyes and started gossiping to her staff in her language. Pretty much you pay for what you get. Cheap prices lead to cheap service. I've never been happy with my nails done here either. Now I found my usual spot in millburn. Double the price but they actually care about the work they're doing. My eyebrow lady helped get my eyebrows thick and even again ! Love her ! read more

I was trying to explain what I wanted to Cindy the owner, but she was very rude and dismissive. The girl who did my nails was talking in her phone the whole time, I tried to tell her the acrylic was too thick but she didn't listen, and it came out too bumpy. Not against other nations but I'm a firm believer if you live in a country you should learn its language) Some of the customers in the location are pretty trashy, loud and dirty. I'm talking stuffing their face while getting their nails done then yelling random crap bothering other people. I was observing how the pedicure tools were being cleaned. I guess soap and water does the job. I mean hey do we REALLY need a disinfectant? It's a shame the place has potential if they become more stricter on what is acceptable at the salon.
